Overall a decent stay, but a few things need work. Room size was good and the beds were comfy, so no complaints there. That said, the carpets could use a proper deep clean. The restaurant served good food and the bar had a solid drink selection—but service was hit and miss. We often had to track someone down just to order another round. The pool area looked nice at first glance, but the water wasn’t the cleanest—lots of floaties and the plunge pool was downright uninviting up close. We had planned to go back for a morning swim but decided to skip it. Would I stay again? Maybe—but only if it was a really good price.

It was just ok , pool was not very clean , my bed and pillow were quite uncomfortable, my wife found it the same. Hotel could do with some attention inside and out , lockers in gym were very poor , disappointed overall

Wouldn’t recommend was in the middle of nowhere and mini golf and playground was pitiful. Staff was nice but hotel room felt hot and dirty

Room was very clean and comfortable. Majority of the staff were lovely but we found some of the staff had to be prompted to continue on with the transaction, which was awkward. You do have to pay extra for the mini golf course which we found odd as it’s a tiny course but still a good addition. Overall a lovely hotel.

Service was great. Staff are super attentive and friendly. Room was a wee bit dirty I had to clean the kettle in the room before using it. Gym and pool ware great. Few more vegetarian options would be good on the menu.

Stayed here for early departure on ferry with 2 children. Nice enough family style hotel . Children not allowed in pool after 7:00 p.m. dinner in hotel was a total disaster. Waited for almost 2 hours to be served in fairness. I think this was very unusual. Hotel was full and they didn't charge us much either. Loads of people just got up and walked out of restaurant. Food was actually good when it did arrive

Great hotel. Plenty of facilities. Well maintained. We stayed here with two kids who loved the place. Nice swimming pool (just be aware that they require swimming hats, so bring or buy one). Breakfast was fine. Scones in the bar were excellent.

The room is okay, looks abit old. We checked in with 2 receptionists, one was very nice. The pool is good. We are not recommended the breakfast.

There for 3 nights. The room wasn’t cleaned after 1st and 2nd night - had to ask for replacement towels/cups/tea&coffee replenishment. The worst of it was Drain fly infestation in bathroom. Leaving the sink and bath plugs in place reduced the problem. I wondered if it’s in one room it’s might be on the whole floor. A difficult problem to get rid of according to some YouTube “experts”. Other than that everything was grand. The reception staff were very nice and very apologetic.

Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was lovely. Beds were very comfortable. Appreciated that there was the option of herbal tea in room as a lot of hotels don’t. Also was happy to see all the things the hotel is doing to be eco friendly. Wry happy with my stay.

Grosses, älteres Hotel, welches aber sanft und stetig renoviert und in Stand gehalten wird. Unser 3-Bettzimmer war sehr gross und komfortabel mit Tee/Kaffee und Pflegeprodukten. Die Betten waren bequem, das Zimmer jedoch Nachts etwas laut, da das Hotel an einer grossen Kreuzung liegt. Das Badezimmer war nicht sehr sauber geputzt. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut, die Bedienung zwar sehr nett, aber leider nicht sehr kompetent. Das Hotelbad mit Schwimm-, Wirlpool und Sauna war super und in gutem Zustand. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig mit warmen und kalten Speisen und mit einer extra abgetrennten glutenfreier Ecke mit eigenem Toaster.

The food was excellent for dinner and worth the price as was all freshly prepared. The service was also excellent with the staff being very attentive to all our needs. I left a generous tip as it was well deserved. The room cleanliness and bed comfort were poor and it let the whole experience down as we suffered from poor sleep quality.

A”B” rate hotel at best. Highway noise all night. No air conditioning or ability to have the windows open because of the road noise. I would not stay there again.

This hotel was great. The room was large, clean, and cozy. A festival was on so we got to enjoy parts of that which were neat and exciting. You have to drive into town but still conveniently located.

The room was large, clean and cosy and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was fine but the shower kept switching from hot to cold throughout showering. One thing to note is that many hotel booking websites put the hotel at 3.56km outside Wexford town - it's actually over 4km. Hotel staff were friendly also.

The room was very cold on check in. We call down to reception to be told the heating would turn on at 5pm. During the night the room became very cold around 1am. The heating was obviously turn back off. There was a very loud humming noise from something outside all night, maybe fans, obviously not heaters.

The hotel is fine. It's very convenient if you are getting a ferry the next day. It's next to a busy road and we could hear a lot of noise from the road/car park from our room. The staff were very nice, helpful and pleasant. The rooms and hallways are a little bit shabby and could do with a facelift, but that's purely cosmetic. Otherwise everything was clean and suited us for our 1 night stay en route to the port.

Will definitely be back. I had a last minute request for a birthday desert surprise for the wife after dinner. The staff were more than accommodating and made the evening even more special. Really appreciated it.

Excellent hotel - rooms are big, clean and beds very comfortable. Reception on duty (Krystyna) was fantastic - extremely warm welcome, friendly and helpful. A real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately both the quality of food and the service in restaurant were not as high as in previous stays. Very slow service - drinks took an age to arrive - requested condiments never did arrive. Food wasn't great - despite being told pizzas were thin base they weren't - thick and doughy and not nice. Could only eat half. Mate had fish and chips and said very greasy. Hopefully a one off as have stayed here previously (and will again) and food was fantastic. Here's hoping.

Nice hotel just 1 complaint the fire alarm went off at 2.15 in the morning due to a fault and the night staff had no idea what to do it seemed there was no fire plan as some guest came out and others just stayed in room and no fire brigade attended which I thought was very bad. And no appolgy

stay was fine fire alarm went off at 2am for about 15 seconds i asked staff if we needed to evacuate and i was dismissed like i was wrong for asking. i waited around to ensure it was safe to go back to sleep because staff wasn't answering.

The hotel was very clean, and the room — including the bed — was comfortable. However, it was quite noisy at night, which affected our rest. One of the highlights was the eco-conscious touches, like the jug for filtered water and the filtered water dispenser — thoughtful details that show a commitment to sustainability. The lady who checked us in was friendly and very helpful, which made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff came across as indifferent and disengaged except for one attentive barman. Breakfast was a real let-down. There were no plates at the self-service buffet, and when they did arrive, they were cold. Only the heels of brown bread were left, and no staff were available to assist. Nothing was replenished in a timely manner, even though we arrived more than an hour before breakfast ended. The porridge was cold, sticky, and inedible — my partner likened it to wallpaper paste. As we were on a room-only package, the additional cost for breakfast felt like poor value for money. The hotel is in an ideal location with safe parking.

This hotel was great. The room was large, clean, and cozy. A festival was on so we got to enjoy parts of that which were neat and exciting. You have to drive into town but still conveniently located.

Stayed here for a couple of nights after arriving at Rosslare. It's a fairly large hotel but quiet, with a good dining area. On the edge of Wexford, easy to get to Waterford too.

The room was large, clean and cosy and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was fine but the shower kept switching from hot to cold throughout showering. One thing to note is that many hotel booking websites put the hotel at 3.56km outside Wexford town - it's actually over 4km. Hotel staff were friendly also.

The hotel is fine. It's very convenient if you are getting a ferry the next day. It's next to a busy road and we could hear a lot of noise from the road/car park from our room. The staff were very nice, helpful and pleasant. The rooms and hallways are a little bit shabby and could do with a facelift, but that's purely cosmetic. Otherwise everything was clean and suited us for our 1 night stay en route to the port.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment and a good cleaning. Our room had a number of spiders in it and no amenities to speak of. Very basic. The pasta ordered for dinner from the restaurant was bland and this chicken in it tasted boiled with no flavour at all. Not within walking distance of Wexford Town. Overall, very disappointing and we wouldn't recommend it for the price.

Excellent hotel - rooms are big, clean and beds very comfortable. Reception on duty (Krystyna) was fantastic - extremely warm welcome, friendly and helpful. A real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately both the quality of food and the service in restaurant were not as high as in previous stays. Very slow service - drinks took an age to arrive - requested condiments never did arrive. Food wasn't great - despite being told pizzas were thin base they weren't - thick and doughy and not nice. Could only eat half. Mate had fish and chips and said very greasy. Hopefully a one off as have stayed here previously (and will again) and food was fantastic. Here's hoping.

Some of the Reception staff were very friendly. Buffet breakfast was disappointing, we were down over an hour before finish and no plates, when they came they were cold. Only heels of bread. Porridge was cold and inedible. Comfortable bed. Quite noisy but it was Fleadh weekend. Convenient location. I had heard good things so expectations were high, but didn't match our experience.

Stayed here for early departure on ferry with 2 children. Nice enough family style hotel . Children not allowed in pool after 7:00 p.m. dinner in hotel was a total disaster. Waited for almost 2 hours to be served in fairness. I think this was very unusual. Hotel was full and they didn't charge us much either. Loads of people just got up and walked out of restaurant. Food was actually good when it did arrive

We stayed as a couple on our round-Ireland trip. The Maldron Wexford was clean, relaxing, and the staff were amazing. It was a busy May bank holiday weekend when we arrived but the restaurant staff did an amazing job and the food was great. We had an evening meal which was delicious and took advantage of the breakfast which had a great selection. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. I wish we were staying a little longer to explore Wexford and the hotel would be a great base for a few days but our one night was very nice.

We had a very good stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly during our stay. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was also convenient and the overall experience was very good. We would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

Rooms and shower excellent....poor breakfast for that price (quite expensive).... dinner venue very tight, tables too close to each other....very good food tho (fishpie excellent, huge portion, recommened) , good location for outdoor activities and walks, nice staff and overall strong three star hotel (3.5-4).

Hotel was very well situated near the main road into town. They had plenty of activities available for the kids, and a nice dining room and bar as well. The rooms were clean and the trip into downtown Wexford was well worth it. The pool was nice, but bring your swim caps as they require them.

Hello ;) We stay at Newtown Park Hotel from 15/07 to 20/07 of 2026. Family of 4. First time here. I work in retail so I know how important good first impression, customer service, etc... are. I could drop a long review sentences, but I decided to go point by point, short and sharp ;) 1. Main gate, car park, front of the hotel - very good. 2. Lobby - very good. 3. Front desk (staff appearance /customer service/general information/etc...) - very good. 4. Lifts (x2) - good (bit small for family of 4 with bags, but we gained more steps, by using the stairs ;) ) 5. Outside areas of stairs, our room, etc... - cleanliness, safety, accessibility, etc... - very good. 6. Room (two single, one double, bathroom) - You should work on bathroom air vents (not working) and maybe extra cooling fans in current hot weather condition, but overall very good. 7. Room service - very good. 8. All kind of staff appearance/customer service/etc... - excellent. I would love to go by names you were all amazing. 9. Food (breakfast, lunch, supper, snacks, etc...) - very good/tasty. "Liquid Bar food" too ;) 10. General toilets/cleanliness/presentation/accessibility/you name it - very good. 11. Swimming pool/changing rooms/showers/sauna - very good. 12. As a father I also recommend this place for families with infants/babies/etc... too. I suppose that's everything.
