The property description and photos were what drew me to book my stay at Landhuis Francia. It was truly a far cry from the pictures. The property was run down and unkept, with untidy common areas and dirty dishes left on the kitchen counters and in the sink. The pool was dirty - obviously between cleanings - and the poolhouse looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time. I did not receive instructions on how to get into the property in a timely fashion and my boyfriend had to climb the fence to get inside. Thankfully, after meeting someone on the property who described himself as a handyman, we were able to connect to the Wifi and figure things out. The room was nice enough, but the garbage wasn't collected from the room once during our 9-day stay. Also, I prepaid $15/day per person for breakfast for two for the length of my stay and received only three days of breakfasts and plenty of excuses why. This is no way to run a "bed and breakfast."

Mi estancia estuvo bien, aunque no cumplió del todo con mis expectativas. Pensé que había reservado una habitación con baño privado, pero no fue así. La habitación tenía aire acondicionado y la piscina era agradable, aunque la cocina no se podía usar si no incluías el desayuno y el refrigerador estaba demasiado lleno. El área de la piscina podría estar un poco mejor cuidada y faltaban detalles como un secador de pelo. Para el precio estuvo razonable, pero hubiera preferido un poco más de comodidad, sobre todo un baño privado.
