Courtyard Wilmington Downtown

Unfortunately the checkin was extremely long. While waiting another party came in and they them checked in immediately. No body wash in the shower dispenser. All three ice machines were not working

Upon arrival I was nicely greeted in a friendly manner by two ladies. i arrived early and was told early check in was not available. So I left and came back at 3pm to check in. I was rudely greeted by someone else who very matter factly told me there were no available rooms at the moment and I can step aside and wait about 30 mins, I asked how is that, when I have reservations, was told no rooms were ready yet and was rushing to tend to the customers behind me, well that was a first for me, room not ready yet.. ok… This place I felt like I paid a high price for a motel room. this place is dark and dumpy-like. Had that feel right as I entered, I knew it was going to be more like a side of the highway motels, sorry but that’s my honest opinion. The furniture could use some updating for sure, the bathroom was small and tje toilet well that was made for toddlers, no complimentary toiletries?!?! That’s another first.. You have the same person cleaning that are making sandwiches? Really?!?! This place is deceiving, from off property parking (had to walk in rain to get car), they don’t tell you that until after you book.. room pics were not what we got, I even took a video or was so bad.. as it was furnished just like a motel or cheap hotel room.. On a good note, at least the beds were comfortable.. I over paid for the stay for sure, I met with my best friend I hadn’t seen in years, invited them to stay with me, It was embarrassing! Gave my honest review

Wish they had free breakfast, but this place was updated and clean. Our toilet did not work when we first checked in but maintenance fixed it. It is downtown there are few restaurants in walking distance. I had to pay for parking which was annoying and the parking garage is not connected to the hotel. The Lobby hangout area is beautiful designed and was great to hang out in at night. We were there for a basketball tourney.

We had water leaking inside the bathroom. We reported the leak and they responded immediately.

Great Hotel would use again
