About this property
Summary:A hidden gem in the heart of the Peak District National Park in the beautiful Castleton. This getaway is on the doorstep to the popular attraction The Peak Cavern, a spectacular location.Full of character and charm, complete with a ...
Located in Hope Valley, this vacation home is in a rural area. C Scapes Photo Gallery and Eyam Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Chatsworth House and Peveril Castle. Chapel Leisure Centre and Peak Volumes are also worth visiting.
The Property is in a great location and an ideal base for hiking in this part of the Peak District and enjoying the hospitality of Castleton. Ben was available by email if we had any queries. Self check-in instructions were crystal clear. Circumstances meant that we checked in in the dark (and the pouring rain) which was no fault of anyone but ourselves, but did make the short trek up from the car park and locating the exact property a little more problematic than might have been the case - you can't park at the property itself. Loved the set up of the house - perfect for our needs. Very cosy living room area (especially when the wood-burning stove is lit) and access to Netflix on the TV allowed for some family binge watching in the dark November evenings. If it's important for you, the WiFi is excellent (which compensates for the weak mobile/cell signal in the vicinity).
