It was the pool which was disappointing. It was also a health club so sometimes you use the pool until noon as it was full of very loud children The staff by the pool were not that attentive. The champagne bar restaurant was excellent. Breakfast very mediocre.

Everything was good except nobody told me of the smoking area. I needed to walk outside for 3 mins for me to be able to smoke.

This is not a luxury hotel by any standard. Don’t book it. The hotel has not been maintained and the facilities look old and tired. The room I stayed in was supposed to be a suite but it was old, dark, dirty and damaged. Generally the hotel is over crowded and there are too many people using the hotel from the conference rooms next to it. The staf is friendly but they have not been trained to work in a luxury hotel and therefore many of them are just standing around doing nothing.
