Fantastic stop comfy rooms, staff are very helpful and understanding. Really enjoyed our stay. In prime location for food, shopping, site seeing and not too far from airports. Good to see fireworks. Pool, gym and sauna great condition.

Can’t fault the spot as it’s a couple of blocks to everything and the new train station will make it even more convenient. It’s like the other Oaks properties we’ve stated in and the bathroom could do with a tidy up as it’s looking dated. One lift was out of action so sometimes took 10 minutes to get to the ground floor. Not their fault as we discovered they’ve been waiting months for the repairs to be completed. Personally I don’t want to go in a faulty lift up 40 floors so didn’t bother me. All in all fairly clean and tidy and had everything you need for a family. We’d stay there again for sure.

Great location but let down by the overall tiredness of the room. Carpets were worn and the bathroom cleanliness was poor. Definitely in need of refurbishment. Only one lift was operating and with 30 floors it took sometime to get up and down.

Pretty good. Room was showing its age a bit. There was a bit of a wet carpet smell on our floor (14). Noisy ceiling fan in the bedroom. Overall okay. Staff were friendly. Great location. Parking was typically tight & narrow but easy enough.

The property is located smack bang in the city centre in between the 2 sides of the river, you cross over one bridge to go to South bank and the Big Wheel, and you walk around the other bridge and waterfront to go to the waterfront bars so you are bang in the middle. The property is secure from the outside world, you need a key fob to enter and also need the key fob to access the lifts. The room itself wasn't bad. Huge balcony with a view of the Bridge afar. All utensils and facilities needed apart from no safety deposit box, which considering the apartment doors do not turn to lock I would have thought a necessity. TV in bedroom and in living room aswell, iron and ironing board included but the bathroom was very dated and spots of dirt, cracked tiles, old silicone or filler everywhere around the shower area. The shower itself was fine, took a short while to heat up but nothing awful.. Receptionist was fine when I checked in and informed me of check out times etc. I only used the pool area once as when it goes in the shade it is freezing cold, the area is small, only 4 or 5 sunbeds available and the pool is incredibly slim but I knew that before b booking and the pool was just an added bonus really. All in all I would definitely recommend this apartment, loads around to do and see, just a bit of a walk to either side of both sides of the river. I'd definitely return though.

We really enjoyed our stay at Oaks Brisbane River City Suites. The apartments are located a very short walk away from shops, restaurants, Brisbane Public Transport and Tourist Attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and spa area is very nice with city views while you are swimming. We would differently stay at Oaks Brisbane River City Suites next time we holiday in Brisbane.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location was fantastic. It was comfortable enough but but, *The shower had a lot of black mould growing in it. *The shower pressure was terrible! *There wasn't enough cutlery in the kitchen for my family of 4 and there were broken utensils. *We didnt see any house keepers our whole stay so we bpught toilet paper as there was only 1 left for us. Value for money wasn't there for me, We were rather disappointed with the unit.

very good location, very clean rooms. i made a mistake of taking the stairs after parking the car at the parking area. doors leading to stairs only opens from the outside, once inside, only way to get out is walk down to ground level to take the emergency exit.

Great location, however… place was very run down, the smell in the elevator lobby on our level from the refuse bin was absolutely disgusting! Or windows were so dirty we could hardly see out. No aircon in bedrooms only ceiling fans.

The bathroom is very old, inside shower where people stand often the tile is black, it’s mouldy too. Toilet roll is in very awkward spot, there was water in the toilet brush holder. There is no view from the room at all.

This apartment has all the basics. It’s not fancy, and could do with a repaint, but it’s in a good location and was very close to the conference I was attending. There is an outdoor pool and a gym that I saw but didn’t try out as I ran out of time.

This hotel is in a great location close to everything. The room was clean and spacious. Do not stay here if you want a restful nights sleep though. It was so noisy of a nighttime i was awake about every hour. It would be nice if it was communicated that there was construction around so that guests can make informed decisions when booking a hotel or if that is the case be priced appropriately. To spend $300 on a room to not sleep was not a good night away.

Not at all the hotel's fault, but there's an extremely noisy construction project (railway station) operating 24/7 including holidays across the street. We spent 3 days in a room where the noise was so bad we became sleep deprived zombies -- earplugs helped a bit but not enough. We were in a room numbered 01. The hotel helpfully moved us to a new room (numbered 03) and it was fine. If booking this hotel, avoid rooms with numbers ending in 01 or 06. We think rooms numbered 04 will be OK and we think 02 or 05 somewhere in between the worst and the best. Being higher up will only help marginally.

Check in took forever. No instructions on where i could park, the computer at reception had glitches that took over 30 minutes to wiork, there were not enough kitchen related items. Eg i had to call to get a baking dish and when it was brought it, it had a big lable stuck to it which i was not able to remove. I took it to reception and staff were very helpful but took around 20 minutes to soak and scrape off. There were no oven mits and i burned my hand. There was a previous guest that had left her supplements in our fridge, after a few phone calls and her coming in with hotel staff to check our fridge in which she did not find her supplements at the end. I got a room with a kirchen so i could cook but i was not able to at the end. We had to eat out and the meals we ordered were terrible. It all sounds too comical. One more thing, we wanted to go back to the car and literally went to every level to fibd it. The levels are not properly written next to the lifts, eg c3 c2...

Proximity to city and all transport is terrific. However, the property is tired. The attention to detail by the room attendants was lacking and in some cases bad. Our oven did not work and was filthy so too were the cooking trays etc. The minor details were the lack of sink plugs. But the reception staff were really good and most helpful. The accommodation also felt very safe having excellent security in place. Overall would stay again knowing about small details but staff made it and are a credit to the Oaks.
Proximity to city and all transport is terrific. However, the property is tired. The attention to detail by the room attendants was lacking and in some cases bad. Not at all the hotel's fault, but there's an extremely noisy construction project (railway station) operating 24/7 including holidays across the street. We spent 3 days in a room where the noise was so bad we became sleep deprived zombies -- earplugs helped a bit but not enough. We were in a room numbered 01. The hotel helpfully moved us to a new room (numbered 03) and it was fine. If booking this hotel, avoid rooms with numbers ending in 01 or 06. We think rooms numbered 04 will be OK and we think 02 or 05 somewhere in between the worst and the best. Being higher up will only help marginally.

Rooms were a nice size, dated bathroom, on check in was a water leak on one floor and whole building evacuated. At night lots of homeless people around made it a bit unsafe. As they were right in the doorway

We the location great for access to the Brisbane River and its attractions especially the river ferry. There were plenty of dining options available within a few minutes easy walk. The building is not a motel rather a residential complex with the 28th floor providing short stay accommodation.

It was in a great location for shopping, casino lots of bars and restaurants. Very easy to walk the city, paths were very uneven so you did have to look where you were walking.Lots of construction going on so a little noisy during thd day and through the night.

This hotel is in a great location close to everything. The room was clean and spacious. Do not stay here if you want a restful nights sleep though. It was so noisy of a nighttime i was awake about every hour. It would be nice if it was communicated that there was construction around so that guests can make informed decisions when booking a hotel or if that is the case be priced appropriately. To spend $300 on a room to not sleep was not a good night away.

The property is located smack bang in the city centre in between the 2 sides of the river, you cross over one bridge to go to South bank and the Big Wheel, and you walk around the other bridge and waterfront to go to the waterfront bars so you are bang in the middle. The property is secure from the outside world, you need a key fob to enter and also need the key fob to access the lifts. The room itself wasn't bad. Huge balcony with a view of the Bridge afar. All utensils and facilities needed apart from no safety deposit box, which considering the apartment doors do not turn to lock I would have thought a necessity. TV in bedroom and in living room aswell, iron and ironing board included but the bathroom was very dated and spots of dirt, cracked tiles, old silicone or filler everywhere around the shower area. The shower itself was fine, took a short while to heat up but nothing awful.. Receptionist was fine when I checked in and informed me of check out times etc. I only used the pool area once as when it goes in the shade it is freezing cold, the area is small, only 4 or 5 sunbeds available and the pool is incredibly slim but I knew that before b booking and the pool was just an added bonus really. All in all I would definitely recommend this apartment, loads around to do and see, just a bit of a walk to either side of both sides of the river. I'd definitely return though.

This is a centrally located aparthotel with a decently equipped kitchen, wahser/dryer, balcony, pool and hot tub. The decor is very gray and a little bit worn, but the layout and conveniences are great. The cafe downstairs is quite good.

Easy check-in and the reception was great. It’s a great location close to Queen St, Star Casino, easy walk to Southbank. The beds were comfortable and overall the apartment was lovely.

It was a nice place to stay for the night, the staff were helpful and friendly. It was a shame the lift was out, as that made the experience a little more frustrating, I waited 30 mins for a lift, and when I had to leave urgently, later that night, that didn't help. It's close to everything and the spa is lovely, though just know it's deeper than you think, and the steps are higher than you realise. Will certainly stay here again, when the lift is fixed!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient to explore the area. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
