Whately Hall Hotel

Good location but the hotel itself was a bit run down. The bedroom was basic and the tele wouldn’t work. Uncomfortable bed and the pillows like rocks. My bedroom 71 was located directly by an access door to the floor and was noisy up till midnight starting again at 5:00am. Extremely noisy in general with people shouting down corridors in the night. Not a very relaxing experience after a long drive and a busy next day.

Booked for a business trip for 3 nights on the 2nd night i reported the wifi was at 0.06mbs which was unusable so was given access to the staff wifi, 3rd night i reported that was unusable as it kept dropping out. i was met with a shrug of the shoulders by reception and told they could get someone to look at it the next morning (Checking out that morning). There are no fitness facilities available.

Clean room but no room service till I complained the last day the room was serviced but left the door open so any one could walk in

Good breakfast selection and efficient friendly staff. Nice room, not too hot which makes a nice change. Comfortable bed.

Beautiful hotel! The night manager could be nicer, but otherwise such a cool place to stay!
