The locals were stunned that I stayed at Red Roof in Danville KY and I understand why. Dirty, trash cans over flowing and the grounds as well. Pool area closed for good after what looked like a nuclear event .

The woman at check in was very kind and welcoming. The room is dirty, sheet and towels stained. Window dripping quite a bit on the sill and all over the register after rain. Can hear the doors loudly open and close from other rooms and walking in the room above. Won't be staying again. Would have left if there was another reservation available nearby

Staff was friendly but room was not up to par. Bed was old and sagging, blankets were stained bad. Air conditioner was very loud and made sleeping difficult. Found mold in bathroom, we were afraid to get into the shower. Room was damp and dirty. Grounds outside were littered with cigarette butts and smokers.

The room had a musty smell, and there were some stains on towels and bedding, plus a few tiny ants in the bathroom. The TV in my room didn’t work, and there was no door hanger to either say do not disturb or ask for housekeeping. But the staff was all welcoming, friendly, helpful, and if all you needed was a place to sleep, the room was good enough for the price.

The room stunk with an odor like a cross between wet dog and stale cigarettes even went to walmart and bought air freshener but still didn't help..the shower head barely worked and was about to fall off..the ac unit didnt work..i didnt bother complaining about it to the staff since i was barely in the room..This was my 2nd time staying here and 2nd time that it was bad..i chose this hotel for the convenience of the event i was attending..Next year i will definitely be staying somewhere else even if i have to drive a little further to my destination..Its not the worst place ive stayed but it is in serious need of maintenance and deep cleaning especially after people have had pets in the rooms.

This motel is dirty!!! I have stayed at RedRoof inns before and never experienced such a horrible room! I checked in late to a very dark motel parking lot. The vending machines were ALL broken. My room had damp rids and air fresheners in several places because of the mildew smell!! The bed looked already slept in,stained sheets and the towels were discoloured and felt like sand paper!The pool was still covered with trash and caution tape all around the pool area that was a complete disaster!!!The only positive was the front desk staff that evening and morning. I highly recommend corporate send someone to straighten out this property because I would shut it down!

No one asked how my stay was when I checked out at the front desk, otherwise I would have let them know. The room should never have been sold with these issues: Gap between bottom of door, door lock broken. Bathroom door scrapes the floor. Hair on toilet, hair on clean folded towels. Mirror covered in some film, looked like it had been wiped by a dirty rag. There was an actual dirty used rag hanging on the shower curtain rod. Bed linens not washed, pillows smelled dank. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Actual bed had not been maintained, had large gap on one side making it a very uncomfortable sleep even if the linens had been cleaned and the whole room hadn’t been covered in filth. Rug between beds and underneath filthy, visibly covered in debris. Hadn’t been vacuumed. Very thin walls, could hear every thing going on outside of room, every door closing, every conversation, likely worse because of the giant gap between the hotel door and the floor. Refrigerator was dusty, dust on nightstand. The ironing board was rusty as was the luggage stand. Worst hotel experience ever.

The room was dated, and the bed sagged horribly in the middle. The mattress hadn't been updated in many, many years. I was told that my room was non-smoking, in fact, the whole hotel was non-smoking. I walked into my room to the smell of someone recently smoking in the room. Combined with the many years of stink, and it was overwhelming. The room was clean, but the stench was too much for this non-smoker. I noticed literally every member of staff smoked out front of the hotel. I doubt that they could smell it.

Room was substandard. Missing lights, bathroom fixtures poorly designed, bathroom sink was a strange adaption, bathroom shower very slow to empty. TV was very small and loosely connected to wall. Breakfast offering was small and low quality. Coffee substandard to gas station vending machine.

Looks old from outside but has been remodeled and inside is very nice. Air conditioner works great. Downside the beds are hard as rocks, worst hotel bed I ever slept on and I didn’t sleep much.

The sheets on the bed was so thin and cheap they wouldn’t even stay in the bed, which was hard as a rock. Every day I had to get my room key reactivated. The breakfast was nothing much. Not terrible but probably wouldn’t spend the money on it again.

Checked in at around 7 pm the lady was very nice even helped us find great place for dinner. Room was clean with no issues. My 2nd time staying here check out both times was awful lady was rude very unprofessional.

I thought it was very sweet that the housekeeper left us a personal note in our room. It was very clean, quiet & everyone was super nice & helpful. Definitely worth the money.

Service at check-in was very good. Breakfast was decent...love a waffle-maker! Never saw anyone to check-out in person. I stood at the desk from 11:05-11:15. Then I just went back to my room to leave the key cards! Anyway, the room was clean and no problems. Would definitely come back!

Policy said check-in at 2 and I had stayed there a week before and I checked in at 2 pm. I went to check in on my next visit and the attendant said check-in was at 3 because she had no clean rooms. Unprofessional attendant this time.

The building looked nice and clean but is very noisy every time the elevator moves it makes a loud slamming noise and shakes the walls other than that it was pretty good for the price and location its very close to lots food places and a walmart.

Fulfilled all needs for a 4 night stay attending Great American Brass Band Festival. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, quiet, close to many dining/drinking options. Also plenty of great morning coffee!

This is an older hotel and if you’re expecting all shiny and new go to the more expensive hotels. Our checkin was easy and staff person helpful and friendly. Room had just what you need for comfortable stay. Room and bathroom clean. Nice large backyard to walk our dog. Biggest downside was going out side door to yard was littered with hundreds of cigarette butts. My suggestion would be place a can out there and maintain it. Hotel close to highway and plenty of restaurants available and Walmart close as well as other shopping options. Very nice breakfast included. Would definitely stay again.

Super close to shopping and food, Walmart and Starbucks right down the street. Great price and location. Room was great. If you are a light sleeper, you may have problems cause you can hear the car doors shutting and room doors shutting. But for me thats not an issue. Would stay here again.

We stayed for a quick overnight. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the staff was pleasant, the breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, cereal, waffles, bagels and toast options. Would have been better with fruit added. I was happy to see it wasn't all sweet danishes and muffins as I need protein like eggs. We didn't use any of the "amenities" though I did note that the outdoor pool is closed and doesn't appear it will be re-opened. All in all a reasonable place to stay for a quick trip and cost efficient.

Room was substandard. Missing lights, bathroom fixtures poorly designed, bathroom sink was a strange adaption, bathroom shower very slow to empty. TV was very small and loosely connected to wall. Breakfast offering was small and low quality. Coffee substandard to gas station vending machine.

We only spent one night and breakfast was pretty good. The lady doing breakfast and watching desk was alittle rude ( may have been over worked) didn't speak when spoken to and things ran out and stayed that way. The check in was fast and easy and they were nice. Room was clean and plenty of space.

Took 10 minutes to check in due to laptop computer issues. Bad odor inside. Outdated, overall did not feel like the room was clean (stains on bedding amongst other things). Chairs in lobby with ripped upholstery (really need new ones). Unable to get receipt at checkout because printer wasn't working. Breakfast actually wasn't bad, though.

The breakfast was pitiful. Breakfast is served room 6-9. Three of the seven mornings I was there, there was almost nothing left at the hot bar at 8. In 7 days, they served a combination of imitation eggs, sausage links and/or patties, and biscuits and gravy with no sausage in the gravy. One day there was no coffee out until someone asked for it. Also, the juice machine only had grape juice, no orange juice, and they had salt packets, but no pepper. There was a Q-Tip in the elevator for 5 days, a Miller Lite bottle cap in and around the elevator for 4 days, the 2nd floor ice machine never worked, and the pool was closed. They only replaced the towels once a week, and then they shorted me towels. Pls the elevator quit working twice.

Upon arrival we were supposed to have a king bed but instead we had two full sized beds. we had no coffee cups,body wash,shampoo or anything to get ice in. The breakfast was not what we expected. The sausage was the only thing that was really fit to eat.
