Loved the location. Loved the fantastic breakfast and free hot drinks all day downstairs. Didn't like the €15 a day parking charge. Didnt like the very limited menu of four dishes with the overpriced veggy option absolutely disgusting, literally inedible due to high salt content. Also didn't like the 'courtyard' view from the rooms which in reality is a view of all the massive heat recovery pupes on the roof. No suitcase stands in the rooms either which is a problem as are the huge pillows which are not comfortable. Overall okay and yes, were would go back.

The hotel is very well situated, and overall the impression is very good. The restaurant is simple but okay. We were not impressed by the fact that our room had not been made up by 1:30 in the afternoon and we had to go and ask for new towels. The breakfast buffet is alright, but serving cold fried eggs and no bacon was not the best.

Bei der Ankunft im Hotel sehr freundliche Begrüßung, direkte Nachfrage ob wir einen Parkplatz gefunden haben oder wir einen benötigen. Von unserem Zimmer aus schauten wir direkt aufs Meer, genuss pur. Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt, momentan finden Renovierungen statt worauf das Hotel hinwies, man bekam davon jedoch nichts mit. Frühstück war sehr gut, super freundliches Personal, Kaffee war den ganzen Tag erhältlich. Unten ist ein Lounge Bereich mit Sofas und gemütlichen Stühlen der zum verweilen und Kaffee trinken einlädt, Snacks und frisches Obst sind immer da. Ebenso kann man im Restaurant frische Speisen bestellen und diese dort genießen. Ein sehr schönes Hotel, sehr nah am Strand und die Stadt ist nicht weit entfernt um dort zu bummeln.

Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast im Hotel de baak seaside. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Täglich frisches Obst und verschiedene regionale Speisen. Kaffee und andere Heißgetränke ganztägig gratis. Das ist sehr ungewöhnlich. Die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen vom Hotel waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch. Wir können das Hotel bedenkenlos empfehlen.

This is a great hotel for cyclists, as they have covered secure bicycle parking. We also loved the airy feel of the hotel, and the wonderful views of the beach. Breakfast is included, and really top-notch: bread, salmon, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, a really delicious granola, cut up watermelon, melon, and pineapple, and 2 kinds of pancakes. Staff are lovely. We’ve stayed there twice, and hope to stay there again!

The property is on the seafront and in walking distance to Noordwijk amenities. It’s an old hotel and relatively small in comparison to nearby hotels. The bathroom is small and there is no shower tray so the entire bathroom floor gets wet when using the shower, a bit impractical as we didn’t have multiple pairs of slippers with us. Hotel’s parking is small and we couldn’t find a space to park, however managed to park outside for free. Due to late evening parties outside the hotel it was a bit noisy on Saturday night, it was the end of holiday season. The weather at the end of August was very windy, rainy and rather cold.

Wie immer ein hervorragender Aufenthalt. Lediglich der etwas träge Barservice am Abend war ein kleiner Kritikpunkt, ansonsten alles bestens.

Leider waren die Vorhänge dreckig & zerquetschte Insekten an den Wänden. Die Damen an der Rezeption haben aber sehr gut reagiert & sind uns mit dem Preis etwas entgegengekommen. Ansonsten war alles top!

Sehr sauberes und gutes Hotel. Bequeme Betten aber Abstriche beim Bad, sonst sehr schön.Gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Blick aufs Meer. Lage direkt am Strand und fußläufig zum Zentrum. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Umgebung ist Super. Die viele unterschiedlichen Strandbars lassen keine Wünsche offen und der Strand ist weit und sehr sauber. Das Hotel selber war leider nicht sehr sauber. Jedoch wurden dreckige Bettwäsche sofort ausgetauscht, wenn man sich unten meldet. Alles in einem war alles ok.

Wir haben angenehme Tage erlebt und jeden Morgen ein tolles Frühstück genossen. Leider wirkt das Hotel aufgrund abgefallener Mauerverkleidungen und bröselndem Putz von außen an einigen Stellen etwas ungepflegt.

Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sauberkeit ist noch verbesserungswürdig, da im Zimmer nicht der Fußboden mit sauber gemacht wurde. Leider wurde bei unserem Aufenthalt gereade der Speiseraum modernisiert, daher mussten wir in einen anderen Raum ausweischen, Blick auf den Parkplatz auf der Rückseite.

Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sauberkeit ist noch verbesserungswürdig, da im Zimmer nicht der Fußboden mit sauber gemacht wurde. Leider wurde bei unserem Aufenthalt gereade der Speiseraum modernisiert, daher mussten wir in einen anderen Raum ausweischen, Blick auf den Parkplatz auf der Rückseite.

Super Lage ! Parkplatz ( wohl kostenpflichtig ) vorhanden ! Waren im 2. Stock , die Türen der anderen Zimmer fallen so laut ins Schloss das man senkrecht im Bett sitzt ! Sehr hellhörig ! Die Dusche war ebenerdig im ganzen Bad , es gab keine trockene Stelle mehr aufm Fußboden , etwas ungünstig! Frühstück war super , tolle Auswahl ! Personal und Rezeption sehr nett !

A very comfortable hotel on the beach—beautiful. Service is excellent. My only complaint is a shower designed by a voyeur—glass side to the bedroom. 😣

Schönes sauberes Zimmer jedoch ohne Extras wie z.B. Minibar. Die Lage ist einzigartig, direkt gegenüber dem langen Sandstrand. Leckeres Frühstück mit hochwertigen Lebensmitteln. Einzig die Auswahl beim Aufschnitt (täglich eine Sorte Wurst) war mir persönlich nicht ausreichend.

Very convenient right by the beach. Ideal area for cyclists. Only 10 min walk to centre of Noordwijk. Great breakfast. Lots of choice. There are only 2 coffee machines , one is with oat milk, so there was a queue a few times. Good size room but shower has window into bedroom giving no privacy. Ok when you are a couple but some might be just friends or work colleagues. And if you have a sea view you also need to close the bedroom curtains otherwise you are visible to all. Why not make the shower window opaque? Or provide a shower curtain?

Op de kamer geen koffie of thee apparaat. Kamer echt veel te warm en met een ventilator wordt het niet echt koeler en maakt bovendien herrie. Boek boulevardzijde maar krijgen kamer aan de andere kant. Geen andere kamer beschikbaar. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding liggen ver uit elkaar. Personeel vriendelijk.

De kamer was erg gedateerd en meerdere schapjes/kastjes waren stukkjes af. Tevens was de kamer erg klein. Heel anders dan de foto's dus. De kamer is duidelijk toe aan een renovatie. Ook was er geen koelkastje of thee en koffie mogelijkheden. Waarschijnlijk kon daarom in het restaurant gratis thee en koffie worden genuttigd. Es war wie immer ein schöner Aufenthalt. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Nähe zum Meer. Der gratis Parkplatz vor der Tür. Die netten Dame u Herren der Rezeption. Betten bequem u Frühstück war auch gut. Mittags gibt es Wasser, Tee, kaffee gratis. Wir kommen immer gerne in dieses Hotel. Einzig die Damen im Service konnten freundlicher sein beim Frühstück abräumen. Aber sonst alles gut.

Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast im Hotel de baak seaside. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Täglich frisches Obst und verschiedene regionale Speisen. Kaffee und andere Heißgetränke ganztägig gratis. Das ist sehr ungewöhnlich. Die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen vom Hotel waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch. Wir können das Hotel bedenkenlos empfehlen.

The property is on the seafront and in walking distance to Noordwijk amenities. It’s an old hotel and relatively small in comparison to nearby hotels. The bathroom is small and there is no shower tray so the entire bathroom floor gets wet when using the shower, a bit impractical as we didn’t have multiple pairs of slippers with us. Hotel’s parking is small and we couldn’t find a space to park, however managed to park outside for free. Due to late evening parties outside the hotel it was a bit noisy on Saturday night, it was the end of holiday season. The weather at the end of August was very windy, rainy and rather cold.

Loved the location. Loved the fantastic breakfast and free hot drinks all day downstairs. Didn't like the €15 a day parking charge. Didnt like the very limited menu of four dishes with the overpriced veggy option absolutely disgusting, literally inedible due to high salt content. Also didn't like the 'courtyard' view from the rooms which in reality is a view of all the massive heat recovery pupes on the roof. No suitcase stands in the rooms either which is a problem as are the huge pillows which are not comfortable. Overall okay and yes, were would go back.

The hotel is very well situated, and overall the impression is very good. The restaurant is simple but okay. We were not impressed by the fact that our room had not been made up by 1:30 in the afternoon and we had to go and ask for new towels. The breakfast buffet is alright, but serving cold fried eggs and no bacon was not the best.

We arrived 45 minutes too early. The lady who checked us in told us to come back 45 minutes later, then we could get the key. She didn’t inform us about parking, breakfast, Wi-Fi or anything else, we had to ask. But besides that the hotel was lovely. Perfect location and stunning view. Breakfast looked good but unfortunately the scrambled eggs were made either of bad eggs or powder eggs - it didn’t taste good. Also the coffee wasn’t good. But the rest was fine. Easy check out. We used the hotel for going early to Keukenhof (the Tulip parc). Great location for that.

Schönes sauberes Zimmer jedoch ohne Extras wie z.B. Minibar. Die Lage ist einzigartig, direkt gegenüber dem langen Sandstrand. Leckeres Frühstück mit hochwertigen Lebensmitteln. Einzig die Auswahl beim Aufschnitt (täglich eine Sorte Wurst) war mir persönlich nicht ausreichend.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, nicht der Einheitsbrei den es sonst gibt. Das Hotel ist in den öffentlichen Bereichen super renoviert worden. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind ganz akzeptabel , der grandiose Meerblick macht hier einiges weg. Die Restaurantpreise und die Preise an der Bar sind schon sehr hoch, vielleicht ist das auch der Grund das nur sehr wenige dieses Angebot am Abend nutzen.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male im Hotel.Die Damen an der Rezeption sind immer super hilfsbereit u freundlich . Vor allem Kim finden wir sehr sympathisch. Das Hotel liegt nur eine Minute vom Strand entfernt . Alles sehr gut auch das es Laktose freie Alternativen u Glutenfreie Brötchen gibt finde ich sehr angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder .

The standard double room is pretty small and the bathroom is tiny with a shower running water pretty much over the entire bathroom. Breakfast is good if you like cheese - otherwise very basic. Odd setup of breakfast with lots of yummy options for bread, but almost nothing to put on top of it. Lots of scrambled eggs, but no bacon. And the orange was very sour. The hotel is located brilliantly though with direct access to the beach and a short walk to the down-town area with lots of restaurants and activities. The parking was cramped and often ran full and the public parking is very limited at times. I recommend it, but don't expect much of the time spent in the hotel itself
