New! Beachfront 2-Bedroom Poolside Akumal Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful 3 BR with a gorgeous view. 3rd floor, had full view from living room & master bedroom. Can even view the ocean from the shower! Comfortable linens and beds. AC worked well once we were able to figure out how to turn them on 😂. Kitchen could have benefited from basic staples. There was nothing, not even salt and pepper. I suggest stocking with olive oil, salt and pepper, and basic spices/sugar for coffee, etc. Most vacation rentals have these things and it was surprising there was nothing. We did have a hot water leak we woke up to on day 1, and the dryer didn’t work the first day either. But, the mgmt company quickly fixed. I didn’t realize this condo comes with daily maid service. We don’t want this on our vacation, so we declined our middle day of cleaning. She was lovely and helpful, we just don’t love someone in our space and we don’t need beds made daily, etc1 mile from town of Akumal, and it’s the quaintest most charming town. Just a few steps down from Buena Vida restaurant, and a great road to run on for morning exercise to run off those chips and margs. Just a 10 min walk to Yal Ku lagoon for snorkeling. Definitely bring water shoes, as the beach here, while gorgeous, is rocky. We loved our stay and would love to return!

Our group of 5 which included 2 kids (4 and 7), had plenty of space in the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom unit. The kitchen was stocked, the condo was very clean, and it was a very comfortable and quiet stay! The daily maid service was very friendly and thorough. Having a small convenience store across the street was great for any little things we forgot, (hot sauce for cooking, lol). The location was right in the middle of Half Moon Bay with 4 excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance. The area felt extremely safe. The property is right on the beach but still had enough space for a few loungers and we even set up a beach tent for the kids. I would note that the beach can be rocky, so I would recommend water shoes. Also, there seems to be a lot of microplastics and other plastics that wash up on the beach, which is not something against this property, just a reminder that everyone needs to do our part to keep nature clean. I think most of it comes from Cancun, Cozumel and the many cruise ships cruising through the area. We loved our vacation and would not hesitate to book this property again! Akumal is a lovely and quiet beach town that is very inviting!

Hi, We had a fabulous time. The pool lovely and good to have because several of our days were windy and the sea was rough. On our last 2 days we were out snorkling and it was really nice. The staff are very attentive. The building is super convenient. Once you are there you don't really a car except for groceries. The near by restaurants are really nice in walking distance.

The staff is friendly, the unit is very clean, and the A/C worked with no issues. The hot water was a bit of a problem, but maintenance was able to fix and have us back up and running. Other guests at the complex were very nice and we enjoyed everyone's company at the pool and on the beach.

The kitchen had everything we needed. Our room was cleaned daily which was a nice treat. check in was smooth and we were able to have our needs met at the main office when things arose. a peaceful, uncomplicated week with family in a very comfortable condo.
