Staybridge Suites Peoria Downtown by IHG

De los peores lugares donde nos hemos hospedado. Somos una familia de 3. Pagamos una habitación con una cama doble y un sofá-cama. No había ropa de cama extra en la habitación para el sofá-cama, la pedí a recepción aproximadamente a las 10:30 pm, me dijeron que ya la subían. Eran casi las 12 am y no la subían, hablamos por teléfono a la recepción y nos dijeron que se "estaba secando, pero que ya nos la mandaban". Finalmente nos fuimos a dormir y NUNCA recibimos lo que pedimos. La habitación tenía electrodomésticos muy viejos, pero el verdadero problema es que el refrigerador hizo muchísimo ruido a las 3 am porque estaba produciendo hielos. Paró después de unos minutos y volvió a hacer ruido a las 5 am, paró y volvió a hacerlo ya cerca de las 7. No saben lo frustrante y cansado que es cuando no puedes dormir por los ruidos tan fuertes del refrigerador (tengo video). La habitación también tenía una silla de escritorio y una cortina black-out. Ambas rotas por, lo ue pareciera, un cuchillo o algo por el estilo. Muy extraño y no sé qué pensar de eso. También tengo fotos. El desayuno estuvo normal, lo que estuvo FATAL fue el café. Sabía agrio y pareciera que estaba quemado, horrible. Nuestra experiencia fue pésima. Tuvimos que arreglárnoslas para que mi hijo pudiera dormir en el sofá cama, a penas pudimos dormir por los ruidos del refrigerador, el café estaba horrible. NO GASTEN SU DINERO AQUÍ.

I have stayed there many times because of the convenience to my conference but this the most uncomfortable stay. It was dirty and there was no comfortable place to work.

Would give 5 stars if our check-in and check out process was not full of errors. At check in, the receptionist checked us in with the wrong name who was booked for 3 days. Had I not fully reviewed the check in paperwork, I would have been billed for 3 and someone would have had a bad experience checking in. At check out, I asked if they needed anything from me. The same receptionist who check me in the both before just nodded no and “You’re good”. We went on our day. I didn’t see the three phone calls from the hotel, asking me to call them back. Message stated if we didn’t return to our room by 12p, all of our items would be put into storage. I called to verify we did in fact remove ALL of our belongings (at 9a) and this was likely the initial mixup with the other party who is staying for 3 days. The woman who answered said “No problem. It’s been resolved.” She didn’t even ask for my name or any other info. I presume she knew what I was referring to. Room was clean. Good breakfast choices. Clean hotel. Pool was out of service.

Comfortable, quiet room. I was disappointed the pool was broken and it seemed difficult to get extra blankets

Upon check in they gave us a room someone was already in. When they relocated us, they recharged us. For a 1 night stay they ended up taking $425 from our account. Our room was two full beds instead of a king and noisy! It sounded like we were near a generator or the furnace room. Toilet and shower were dirty. Overall, not a great experience. Close to the venue we needed to be at so that was nice.
