Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Williamsport

Only issue we experienced was back-up beepers on trucks in the lot adjacent to the window in our room started at 3:30 am . This was due to construction and will likely continue for several months.

The front desk clerk(Shelby) was a friendly and helpful face. Very apologetic for lack of working elevators

The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable of places to see in the area. The young lady working the breakfast area was excellent making the start to every day so much better. Had a lot of construction which was a downside but I'm sure when it's done, future guests will have a much better stay. If you're looking at this hotel for the pool, don't even think about it. In two days, I was the only one brave enough to tempt the frigid waters.

Property was under renovation. We could hearse through the wall. Furniture was in terrible condition— dresser had big holes. Bathroom outlets did not work. No fitness facility. Breakfast was okay. Building was literally surrounded by dumpsters for construction. Some corridors blocked off with plastic covering for renovations. No coffee in lobby except during breakfast. They should shut down facility during renovation or offer rooms at a very reduced price.

Hopefully getting pool back also expedia put under construction websites

They are renovating their property so there was a little inconvenience but overall the room was great. Breakfast was good.

The entire hotel smelled bad. The elevator was broken. The pool was dirty. The fitness center was unavailable throughout the stay. The room keys consistently failed, even after repeated times exchanging the keys they still did not work in the room doors. Staff was very nice and ffiendly. The breakfast was very tasty.

The pool was out of commission, the bed was comfortable, the only real complaint was that the ice bucket was in the bathroom, which is very unhealthy.

My room was not cleaned any of the days we were there.

I can usually trust a Marriott, however this one was unfortunately filthy. The front desk lady was nice, but I did not feel comfortable due to the lack of cleanliness, even in my second room provided.

The staff was just amazing! Hotel was spotless!

The lights in the bathroom did not turn off, there was black mold in the shower, the toilet seat was ready to fall off, the mattress was terrible, and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. We usually stay at the Hampton Inns but they were all sold out so we thought why not try a Fairfield. Won’t make that mistake again

The property is old and outdated. The room had an overpowering musty smell when you walked in. The entire room was outdated with stains in the carpet. I would avoid staying here.

hope you like ants with your waffles. I stayed 2 nights nothing was done to the room garbage not dumped beds were not made no fresh linens . Never again

Highly don’t recommend. I have stayed with Marriot Bonvoy and Fairfield Inn from Eastern PA to Utah many times between business for corporate planet fitness operations management and family travel. This is our preferred choice for affordable and comfortable stays. I have never written a poor review for any one of them until now. Thick curly hairs in the pool, which I cleaned myself before my son swam. (He wouldn’t even put his head underwater after seeing what we pulled out.) Gym was filthy. Moldy and grimy shower liner and curtain. Front desk wouldn’t answer the phone around 9pm l, when we found out there was no body wash. Beds were absolutely awful. My husband and I had a terrible night’s sleep. Spilled (soup?) and trash remained in the elevator for 24 hours. This is by far the most unclean and uncomfortable Fairfield Inn I have ever been to. As a business owner and previous ops manager myself, I believe in making the front desk staff aware first so that they have a chance to handle professionally themselves. After checking out, I acknowledged my concerns quietly and away from other guests. (My family and I were staying for my son’s state gymnastics meet and didn’t have time to switch hotels by the time we realized it’s condition. We did not ask for a refund or any anything except ownership.) Unfortunately, I received only poor excuses and a disrespectful attitude from the older woman at the desk. Thankful we will not be staying here again!

Everything is great except how in 2025 there isn’t HDTV in a hotel is mind blowing. Worst TV scenario ever

No internet. Computers were down due to a storm. My husband was upset because we were not told that when we checked in. Other than that, everything was fine.

Rooms are well lit and Fan unit with AC works perfectly. Everything is new and bed is really comfortable with full size pillows

Air conditioner was loud and close to busy street so loud traffic. Staff was nice and friendly.

The free breakfast was really good! Probably one the best we have had for a hotel. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Our biggest issue was with the key card locks ( it took 3 or 4 tries on average just to get the door open going in). The hotel is also older and could use some improvements. Our ceiling had a bad crack in the corner, it smelled stale (even with the AC running) and the bathroom vanity front was coming off. The staff was friendly and kind. The lady who checked us in said they got new locks for the doors but they haven’t been installed yet.

The matress was the most uncomfortable I habe ever slept on in any hotel I have been in.Too soft.

TV is too small.

Friendly and helpful staff

Lots of difficulty with acres to my room. Needed to visit the desk 3 times as the card reader wasn’t working right.

Alvae is great. Check-in was quick and easy.

They overbooked the property and given a room with 2 double beds instead of a king bed that we reserved

Terrible customer service not up to Marriott standard. Through third party, I booked on night for a room that didn't exist.They refused a full refund. Have no idea how they get away with this. Do not recommend.

The staff is amazing, especially the front desk. I could not have asked for better.

Check in couldn’t find my reservation, likely I kept confirmation;go to room one of the keys didn’t work; go in room, refrigerator is making loud noise, went back to check in & got another room; new room no hangers; and of course only one key worked; check out- no one there waited, called out, hello, hello? Cleaning saw me waiting, but made no attempt to find them; wrote note, left on keyboard.

I made a note online when I made the reservation that I needed a handicapped accessible room due to my daughte being in a wheelchair. I called the day before the reservation and was assured we were assigned one. When we arrived after a 7 hour drive, I said to the front desk woman (who was very nice) that we were already assigned a handicapped accessible room, she said "let me make sure with my manager" He came over and said " we will see what we can do". I told him I had requested it onlne and called yesterday to confirm and he said "well, we cant guarantee it, if someone else came in and needed it" Like, what?? We did still happen to get one by why did he need to be like that, especially after a long drive, I was exhausted. Also, the phone didn't work in the room when I tried to call and request another hair dryer since the hair dryer in our room was broken. I waited by the unmanned front desk for a few minutes before the manager came around the corner and was able to get a maintenance man to get us another hair dryer. Lots of construction going on also. Normally, I dont nitpick but that first interaction when we got there rubbed me the wrong way. Overall, the place was fine to stay at.

I was in town for a conference. My very helpful and friendly front desk staff person assisted me to sign up for the rewards program and upgraded my room! She also provided a detailed list of local restaurants that assisted me greatly with my dinner plans...A+

This hotel is located right near the Pennsylvania School of Technology. Easy access to high way, with many eateries close by. The room was immaculate, the staff professional and very kind. I am very pleased and will be back!

Clean and convenient

The hotel was directly across the street from the college we were visiting. Convenient to restaurants, fuel stations and stores.

Air conditioner was loud and close to busy street so loud traffic. Staff was nice and friendly.

I loved the close proximity to PCT, it was within walking distance.

Served us well, right off the highway and nice to have Sheetz right across the road. Very clean and nice lobby and rooms. The breakfast was very good for included.

Decent hotel and quick check-in. I liked the room amenities. The only odd thing was it was a non-smoking room but we could smell faint nicotine odor-not sure why. Good location.

Breakfast was sub par at best. Food was cold and dried out. Ran out of several things. Took almost 20 minutes to get more coffee. Really not worth it. They should drop their pricea and eliminate that service because ot drags the whole experience down. Especially since ot was the last thing we did before checking out.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Tv channels didn’t have the best reception and no tv guide. Breakfast was warm though eggs and sausage could have been more done. Biggest issue was no hot water in the shower the morning I left. I was only there for one night.

The young woman at the Front Desk is very kind and professional and Irfan in the restaurant area was amazing very professional and so helpful. The staff was great we ask housekeeping for some items and they were at our door in minutes staff and service 10 stars. However, when I arrived we changed rooms it smelled like smoke and not clean just wasn't fresh. The next room we were moved to literally had a phone when you picked it up had not connection to the phone base the other women at the desk when I went downstairs said oh that phone is broken. I think there should also be a note on the TV we had no guide or directions and when my son turned it on it straight fuzz I went back to the desk and she said oh just click the channel button up twice and it worked but i was frustrated by then 1st room smelled 2nd room broken phone and we tried for several minutes with the TV before I had to go up and downstairs several times again since I couldn't call via phone. But, again the staff was awesome and the hot breakfast was very good and the breakfast area was kept very clean!
