We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the Staff treated you like family. Beach towels are provided. Don’t hesitate to ask the staff for anything they will be happy to provide you with local information.

What a beautiful respite in the middle of busy Amalfi! Our favorite breakfast in Italy, and we loved the family’s restaurant around the corner as well. There are a lot of stairs, but that didn’t bother us. We’ll definitely be back!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Everyone working at the hotel was super friendly. The breakfast was perfect and we chose to sit outdoors on the roof terrace with a view of the mountains. We had a balcony facing the Main Street and it was great to sit there in the late afternoon with a glass of wine and watch all the tourists.

The location of the property simply cannot be beat. It is right in the middle of the downtown area. The accommodations are gorgeous with beautiful tiles and luxurious linens. Breakfast was served each morning on a rooftop terrace and was delicious. The staff went out of their way to be polite and helpful. This place is tops and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

All the staff were very helpful and the boutique nature of the hotel made it feel like a family! The breakfast on the terrace was one of our favourite parts! The location was sensational as well! Would highly recommend and we definitely want to go back!

amazing stay right in the centre of Amalfi town - next to all the local restaurants and the port to catch the ferry to different parts of the coast. Great hosts - Vincenzo and his sons Marco and Giulio were extremely helpful and approachable with everything - arranging transfers, recommendations for beaches and restaurants, tours etc and helping with luggages! Breakfast was lovely on the terrace. Also just round the corner there is a bakery called Pamificio where you will find the best brioches and pastries! Overall great stay at Residenza Luce

It's in the perfect location close busses, taxis and ferrys. Walk to square, shops and restaurants. The staff was extreamly helpfull and could not do enough to make us enjoy our stay in Amalfi. Check in was well handled by staf. We contacted them 10 minuts before we arrived and they mett and took care of everything. As with any place in Amalfi the stairs to the room are a chalage and small slow elevator was best for luggage. The free brekfast on the terrace was ampel and exceptional. A nice brake from the pricey local eateries. We would strongly recommend this wonderful place.

The hotel and the family that run it are wonderful. So welcoming, kind and helpful. It is in a perfect location right in the center of town, yet very quiet. You are 5 minutes walk to the port where there are many options for boats/ferries to other towns if you wish. The hotel is immaculate and the breakfast is delicious. So beautiful to sit outside on the terrace, listening to the church bells while having your morning coffee. We can’t wait to go back.

Stayed in the duplex room which was really beautifully presented. The staff where very friendly and breakfast was great. The hotel is spotless and location fantastic if you want to explore Amalfi. Also we appreciated the balcony and sound proof doors. Bathroom spotless. 10/10.

This place is INCREDIBLE!!! The owners and staff are so beyond helpful and willing to help with any and everything. The free breakfast is so good! We were so touched to find that the staff even woke up early to make gluten free cakes for my GF friend. The room was perfectly clean and the balcony was so fun to hang out on! The location is right in the middle of the town in a great spot. I would recommend this place to anybody :)

Vicenzo e família são uns amores, acolhem os hospedes como familiares. Fazem contato com antecedência pra avaliar eventuais necessidades, apoiam no estacionamento (todos falam das dificuldades de estacionar na Costa, mas para nós foi tudo fácil e ágil). Tudo extremamente limpo e cheiroso, desde a entrada nas escadas até o quarto e os banheiros. Café da manhã parece feito pela vovó para mimar seus netos, uma delícia! Quarto acomodou muito bem nós 4 (casal e filhos de 8 e 13 anos)

Lovely, family run property, centrally located, steps away from everything! We had a balcony room which overlooked the street toward the main plaza. Vincenzo (the proprietor) was great. Attentive, dedicated and knowledgeable. Got us a table in a great restaurant, even after they were booked solid. Book this place with confidence.

Lovely small hotel in the centre of Amalfi town. Very helpful staff providing advice. The breakfast was far superior to other breakfasts we had on this trip. Our room for 3 overlooked the Main Street which winds through Amalfi but there was no noise in the room. Room was very close to the Duomo and sea/ferries and SITA bus station.

A beautiful, comfortable room with a balcony overlooking historic Amalfi town. The location can't be beat, plenty of great restaurants, historic sights and shopping within a 5 minute walk and 5 minutes to the ferries and busses. Provided breakfast is top notch and the warm hosts provide a wonderful personal touch. Vincenzo arranged a dessert and bottle of prosecco for a birthday and helped with transport options. Will definitely be staying here again and recommending to friends and family!

Before I arrived fr Rome I got alerts/updates from them re ferry service and possible needs before my arrival. As predicted there was no ferry service, lines for buses were ridiculous and taxis were limited and overcharging. Thanks to them our driver was at the train waiting. We received a warm welcome and a lovely room with balcony overlooking the town. The location was perfect, the breakfast was fulfilling and we slept comfortably. It is a small hotel that operates on a larger scale with someone always at the front desk and items like insignia on slippers and toiletries. The fridge is stocked daily and room service was great. Vincenzo, our main contact helped us daily with plans and travel to Capri and Positano. Vincenzo, thank you again for your kindness! Marco and Lydia were so sweet and made us feel so welcome. I would love to return and recommend to anyone. 10/10!

amazing stay right in the centre of Amalfi town - next to all the local restaurants and the port to catch the ferry to different parts of the coast. Great hosts - Vincenzo and his sons Marco and Giulio were extremely helpful and approachable with everything - arranging transfers, recommendations for beaches and restaurants, tours etc and helping with luggages! Breakfast was lovely on the terrace. Also just round the corner there is a bakery called Pamificio where you will find the best brioches and pastries! Overall great stay at Residenza Luce

It's in the perfect location close busses, taxis and ferrys. Walk to square, shops and restaurants. The staff was extreamly helpfull and could not do enough to make us enjoy our stay in Amalfi. Check in was well handled by staf. We contacted them 10 minuts before we arrived and they mett and took care of everything. As with any place in Amalfi the stairs to the room are a chalage and small slow elevator was best for luggage. The free brekfast on the terrace was ampel and exceptional. A nice brake from the pricey local eateries. We would strongly recommend this wonderful place.

Lovely, family run property, centrally located, steps away from everything! We had a balcony room which overlooked the street toward the main plaza. Vincenzo (the proprietor) was great. Attentive, dedicated and knowledgeable. Got us a table in a great restaurant, even after they were booked solid. Book this place with confidence.

Lovely small hotel in the centre of Amalfi town. Very helpful staff providing advice. The breakfast was far superior to other breakfasts we had on this trip. Our room for 3 overlooked the Main Street which winds through Amalfi but there was no noise in the room. Room was very close to the Duomo and sea/ferries and SITA bus station.

The location of the property simply cannot be beat. It is right in the middle of the downtown area. The accommodations are gorgeous with beautiful tiles and luxurious linens. Breakfast was served each morning on a rooftop terrace and was delicious. The staff went out of their way to be polite and helpful. This place is tops and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It’s so convenient to eating, shopping and getting the ferries or buses. Removes the hassle of getting up or down the hills which is not only complicated but costs quite a lot if you have to get a taxi. The staff are very friendly and will help you with all manner of things. The breakfast is great. Plenty of options. Really couldn’t be happier.

What a beautiful respite in the middle of busy Amalfi! Our favorite breakfast in Italy, and we loved the family’s restaurant around the corner as well. There are a lot of stairs, but that didn’t bother us. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed in the duplex room which was really beautifully presented. The staff where very friendly and breakfast was great. The hotel is spotless and location fantastic if you want to explore Amalfi. Also we appreciated the balcony and sound proof doors. Bathroom spotless. 10/10.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Everyone working at the hotel was super friendly. The breakfast was perfect and we chose to sit outdoors on the roof terrace with a view of the mountains. We had a balcony facing the Main Street and it was great to sit there in the late afternoon with a glass of wine and watch all the tourists.

All the staff were very helpful and the boutique nature of the hotel made it feel like a family! The breakfast on the terrace was one of our favourite parts! The location was sensational as well! Would highly recommend and we definitely want to go back!

The hotel is elegant. The family that runs it is nothing less than incredible. They will stop what they’re doing for any reasonable request, and they helped me plan a most wonderful day in the perfect order. I truly wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else in this city. Mere steps from the Cathedral, it’s located on a corner lot of two of Amalfi’s main paths and arteries. You can turn left or right, or even better, take the back pathway to the buses and beach. The breakfasts leave nothing to be desired. Finally, the father, mother, and two sons are always around for guidance on boats, buses, beaches and binge eating. Do not hesitate to book this one, stop scrolling and thank me later. I liked it so much I am booking another three nights. Come un re!

Just got married and came with my wife on our honeymoon. Excellent location, staff super helpful and friendly Vincenzo and Marco were the best!!! The take your luggage to the port. The place is super clean, You are in the very heart of this amazing city and can sit in the balcony and watch all the people walking by enjoying themselves. The rooms have sound proof doors and windows if you prefer silence. The city is very safe and there is a lot of excellent restaurants just a few meters away. Highly recommended.

YOU NEED TO BOOK RESIDENZA LUCE!!! It is the best boutique hotel! The rooms are clean and spacious! The staff is so helpful and friendly! The breakfast was amazing, honestly some of the best food we had!! The rooms are air conditioned and the hotel's location is the best, right above the shops on the main street, the room even had a balcony!!! Literally two minutes walking to the beach, restaurants, shops!!! We will be staying here again when we return to Amalfi!!!
