Hilton Garden Inn Freeport Downtown

No jacuzzi (this was Expedia's fault). Pool was very cold. We turned the room up to 78, and were STILL cold. Towels were scratchy - wouldn't have a towel that bad in my OWN house. Their breakfast was only a step above Super 8s and they wanted me to pay $40 for it. I won't be back.

Excellent check in service; friendly staff. Comfy bed. Shower fixtures seemed in need of repair, but functioned fine. Lovely little pool and gym, but a bit noisy with train and other hotel guests (our room was near the pool and gym).

Overall good location and great service. Bed was a little on the firm side. Only real issue was I booked it because it had a hot tub but there wasn’t one. I would recommend updating the photos so no one else expects something that is not there

Nice room and pleasant employees. Was surprised that the parking was across the street in a public parking lot but there was plenty of room. Also surprised at 4:30 AM that there was a train track close behind the building.

The pool and hot tub looked very dirty but were being closed the next day for repair. Everything else was great!

The area is well kept. The parking is a little difficult because you have to park across the street.

We were very pleased with our stay path the Freeport Hilton Garden Inn, we have stayed here before and it it is always clean and the staff is always friendly, at a reasonable price. We love the proximity to all that Freeport has to offer. And as always we love sitting by the fire pit at night an meeting all the other guests who come from all over.

Loved the location of the property to downtown Freeport. The staff was relatively polite and friendly. Your website says "spa" and it was not available. Also the Peleton's which are shown on website were not able to be adjusted and no one seemed to care. Pretty good stay overall.

We had a great stay. We found it to be very pleasurable. The only complaint I would have is the across the street parking. Will definitely return

Staff was very friendly. Room was not cleaned properly, especially the bathroom. Also the shower drain was clogged. There was a train right outside our room that passed in the middle of the night that we could hear loudly and clearly, I feel this is something they should disclose when booking the room

This hotel was fine, I suppose. Bedding left a bit to be desired. Bathroom was unfortunately not really cleaned. Hair in the tub, on the towels. Luckily, we were only there one night. Staff was nice.

Disappointing. The room wasnt serviced properly. The containers of bath soap, and shampoo in the shower, were empt. Also the body lotion was gone. The breakfast for which I paid was mediocre at best. The check-iin lady was nice but unfortunately the hotel fell to meet the basic expectations.

The biggest problem with this facility was they were understaffed. Everyone working was friendly and as helpful as they could be, there just weren't enough. The poor hostess at breakfast was the hostess, waitress, server, and table busser. One of the two people behind the check-in counter could have lent a hand but didn't seem to notice. Our room was mostly clean except for the tub, which still had hair and soap in the drain. I just expect better from Hilton.

I have previously stayed here and it was absolutely amazing. This time however, after I checked in which they completely accommodated me with an early and much appreciated check in I went to my room and entered the bathroom and found that it had obviously had work done at some point earlier with drywall yet had not been completed cleaned as there was drywall dust all over the counter on the door handles mirror and shelves towel rack and in the corners of the floor. I went to the front desk and to be honest I never usually say anything but I figured staying in this really nice high end hotel it would be ok. So I mentioned to the young woman running the check in about the situation and she had offered either to have housekeeping come and clean it to exchange rooms. I left it to her to decide and she said housekeeping would be there to clean and I mentioned I would leave for a bit to allow that to happen. I ran back to my room to get my car keys and a housekeeping employee showed up with a bottle of spray and a wash cloth. I shower and explained the situation and what and where the dust was on and she said no problem. I left and came back to a clean mirror and mirror shelving and that seemed to be all that was cleaned. I decided to just wipe everything down myself and not go back to the front desk and it was a hassle at that point. Everything else was great except for that. Disappointed is the least I can say about it. Surprised as well. I hope this helps all parties forward.

Location is an A+ in the heart of Freeport. There is an abundance of shopping and dining options just 2 short blocks away on the Main Street. The hotel and the property were immaculate and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. This will be our hotel of choice on our next trip through Freeport!

It’s very inviting as you drive up to it and the same for the inside. Feels warm and cozy and was very clean. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable.

I like this hotel. It is near enough for convenience but far enough for quiet. Unfortunately the fridge does not keep anything cold and the tvs are still not smart so we can sign into our services or even cast from our devices. It would be nicer to have that access than trying to locate something on cable.

Room was great. Found out after the fact that there is an Amtrak train that runs immediately behind the hotel. The check in person assured us that they don't blow the horn at night, but the 4:00am blast was a rude awakening that dispelled that statement. Great room, but if you're looking for quiet, keep looking.

We’ve been coming to Freeport for the LLBean race for several years and staying at this same hotel but some of the rooms need updating and the bathrooms too.

Hotel forgot to mention that a train goes by within 10-20 feet from my room, which is not pleasant at 4 am.

The heating was erratic and I never could figure out how to keep the room at a consistent temperature

Positives: Great location and good coffee! Clean hotel, and the room service ladies were very friendly. I had a terrible experience with the night on-call service desk person, David, on December 23rd. After several attempts from my room, 248, I could not access the Wi-Fi on my phone. At 12:35 am, I called to report my problem, and David was highly condescending. His tone and attitude made me feel like I was incompetent. After attempting to log on with him, he got impatient with me. He then offered a code, which I needed him to enunciate the letters "s and f" more clearly because I could not catch the difference. David raised his tone with me. At this point, I called him on his behavior, which he denied. The call ended with me telling him I would report his horrible service to management, and he said, "OK." The following morning, on December 23rd, I reported my experience to Patrick, who was on duty. He listened to my story, and I was also disappointed with my experience with him! He helped me connect my phone but never apologized for how David treated me. While it was not Patrick's fault, a person in this profession with excellent customer service would apologize to the customer complaining about her poor experience.

Check in at 430 instead of 3 due to housekeeping issues

Tth hotel is generally clean and in good repair. Howver checkin took 45 minutes. These was a long line, one clerk, and a very slow process. I wasn't told why.

The hotel it self was great - was a little disappointed about the free breakfast. I booked it for our group due to having a little one. Once we got to the breakfast - they said it wasn’t included in my package. Due to it being 3rd party ( Travelocity ) We very disappointed to spend $300 plus for a room and not have it included in the price.

Was a very nice stay. My only complaint is that a continental breakfast is not only not included, but costs $12 per person, and has very few options. Not even packages of oatmeal. Cold cereal, fruit, toast, and pastries. If it was included with the stay, it would be nice, but for $12, it was terrible.

The property was easy to find and located conveniently just off the busy main streets of Freeport. The breakfast in the on site restaurant was great and staff was wonderful and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is clean and the staff is wonderful. The restaurant and bar did a great job! The amenities were fantastic and it was close to all the shopping... walking distance!
