I stopped here on a long trip and was very pleased. The bed was really comfortable. Despite being near a main roadway, it was very quiet. There was plenty of parking. The fitness center had a variety of options. The front desk clerks were very helpful and kind. Not my first or last stay here. I highly recommend....

Stayed over memorial weekend while visiting Caddo lake. Specifically booked this place because pool seemed nice and big, plus photo with the pool was featured as a main picture of the property on Expedia. But guess what? Pool isn’t open yet and didn’t even have water in it.. Who would expect that when the temperature is already in it’s 90s? What a disappointment. I wish they would have let people know because it’s deceiving. If I knew I would have definitely went with another hotel. It’s clean and seems to be recently renovated but doesn’t worth $100 per night without pool and poor breakfast selection…

Everything about this hotel was great. The customer service was exceptional, the cleanliness of the room and lobby were great, the beds were super comfy, the free breakfast had several options that were great also. The restaurant located inside the hotel was great for dinner too. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel seems recently renovated. Plenty of light in the room using indirect lighting switch by bedside table. Standard scrambled egg & sausage breakfast. Without requesting, I got the bed remade and trash cans emptied after 1st night (2 nite stay). 😀. Rm 147 desk lamp was non-functioning, but everything else was great! The back side security access doors were supposed to be ‘key card’ accessible, but the doors didn’t close and access was available to anyone.

There were a couple of roaches in my room so unfortunately I will not be returning. Also, the WiFi was extremely poor quality and there was not good air flow into the room.

Exterior and lobby have been nicely updated. Interiors have been about 90% updated. We needed one of their rooms that permitted people to have pets. Beds, furniture, countertops, and bathroom have been updated and were clean. However,floors were sticky and room had a strong mildew smell.

We experienced several issues during our stay that could be improved. The staff interaction was not as courteous as expected. The bathroom door did not close smoothly, and the shower curtain was missing when we entered the room. Although the front desk provided a curtain, no one installed it initially, and we had to follow up before the manager came to fix it. Netflix also would not load despite the internet and cable TV working. Multiple attempts were made to troubleshoot, but the issue remained unresolved. We were told to contact IT support ourselves, and when we requested an alternate room (as we were staying in due to heavy rain and had children with us), we were informed the hotel was fully booked. Unfortunately, the Netflix issue was never resolved, and it impacted our stay. Overall, improvements in room readiness, responsiveness, and staff communication would enhance the guest experience.

Bed was comfortable and desk staff were friendly. Bath tub needed updating,-3 large chips and black in areas. Replacing dead plants in containers by front entrance could help asthetics. If your a light sleeper may want to stay elsewhere. We could hear everything people said in room next to us and road traffic.

We were not able to sleep because the noise kept us awake all night. First at midnight there was stomping in the room above us constantly which we called about and that stopped for a short while but soon restarted and there was door slamming every few minutes all night. Miserable night.

This is a modern hotel that does great things in a small town like Marshall. Very modern looking renovations in what outside feels like a tired building. I’m not there to hangout outside but to sleep and recharge for the next day. Complaints: walls are thin. Floors are thin. I could hear my neighbors walking around. I could hear people outside my window.

Management should be fired. We were there on a Wed night and one poor girl had to work the front desk, be the bartender and serve tables all at the same time. To her credit she tried her best even though ten different people checked in while we were there for dinner, twelve people were seated at the bar drinking and four tables were sat for food. Ridiculous that there was no manager on the floor helping out and that one person was responsible for all those activities.

Booked for the pool. Damaged by storm but oddly enough a pool service was only on its way after I skimmed the pool and showed it to the desk clerk. I asked for a refund only to be left standing wondering on the progress as she texted the assistant manager who was not on site. To make matters worse, a gentleman arrived behind and waited patiently to be helped only to be completely ignored by the clerk. No, "I"ll be with you in moment." Nothing. A second person came up to front desk and also ignored the man. The gentleman was of African-American descent. No idea if that had anything to do with the clerks ignoring him, but I thought I'd mention it.

Check in was quick. The room was very nice and quiet. We had a problem with the TV remote and Jesse was great! He worked until he found one that would work. He’s a great employee. We asked were a good place to eat was. He recommended the hotel restaurant. He could have sent us other places but, stayed true to Clarion. We went to the restaurant. The blonde waitress was also great as was the food. We’d stay there again!

This was good for a one night stay on a road trip. Room was clean and the price was right. Lots of restaurants close, but on a busy road so not really walkable.

The location was great, parking felt safe, and check-in was smooth and helpful. It was really convenient to have a restaurant on site with a bar, the room was clean and very comfortable, the sound isolation was great, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was great, and breakfast had scrambled or boiled eggs, sausage, English muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, apples, raisins, waffles, apple or orange juice, coffee, and tea. The only micro areas for improvement would be having butter/margarine soft enough to spread and maybe warmer eggs and sausage, but that's getting really picky. We would strongly recommend this hotel for your stay.

The hotel was conveniently located. We completely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. Nothing negative to say, we will be staying there again. Staff was friendly, breakfast was excellent, those Texas shaped waffles were delicious!

I stopped here on a long trip and was very pleased. The bed was really comfortable. Despite being near a main roadway, it was very quiet. There was plenty of parking. The fitness center had a variety of options. The front desk clerks were very helpful and kind. Not my first or last stay here. I highly recommend....

We stayed in Marshall on our way to Canton. The price was good and the room was very clean. The bed was firm, but comfortable. I liked that there was no carpet. The breakfast had many choices. When we checked out, we were surprised to be given two bottles of water for the road! My only dislike was the road noise from I-20. If we stay again, I will ask for a room on the west side to help with the noise from the big trucks.

The hotel itself was amazing. We come down from Missouri to visit family during Christmas but this year we made an extra visit and stayed here. Definitely found the only place we’ll be staying from now on. The staff was all exceedingly friendly and helpful. There is some road construction going on on the highway in front of the hotel but it’s still easy to pull in just expect a little noise from the road crew. But trust me, the hotel and staff more than make up for it. Also, very clean rooms and smells nice.

Traveling alone across the country, I picked this due to the star rating. I am so glad I did! The hotel was lovely. They have a nice bar inside and restaraunt which was a life saver to me. I was driving a uhaul and it was wonderful to be able to eat inside the hotel. The food...was delightful! I was speaking to another person staying there and she said she stays there often. She also said that people staying at other hotels will come there to eat because the food was that good. Boy was it! My food wasnt delivered on a plate, rather a PLATTER! You better have a texas size appetite when you order your food! My food came out fresh and hot and my drinks on time. The room was clean and quiet and lovely., the bed was so comfy too. I will stay there from now on when I pass through! I highly recommend this hotel.

Found the property to be very clean. Breakfast could have been a little better, eggs and sausage were cold due to staff forgetting to turn on the heating dishes, but really not that much of a problem. Had a microwave there so we just heated ourselves. For the money felt Blessed in all aspects. Great place would definitely come back.

Stayed over memorial weekend while visiting Caddo lake. Specifically booked this place because pool seemed nice and big, plus photo with the pool was featured as a main picture of the property on Expedia. But guess what? Pool isn’t open yet and didn’t even have water in it.. Who would expect that when the temperature is already in it’s 90s? What a disappointment. I wish they would have let people know because it’s deceiving. If I knew I would have definitely went with another hotel. It’s clean and seems to be recently renovated but doesn’t worth $100 per night without pool and poor breakfast selection…

Everything about this hotel was great. The customer service was exceptional, the cleanliness of the room and lobby were great, the beds were super comfy, the free breakfast had several options that were great also. The restaurant located inside the hotel was great for dinner too. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly giving us an option to move rooms due to no elevators. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Hot shower with good pressure. Breakfast was self serve, several variations such as: waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals etc. Lobby was clean and check out was a breeze. Nice place for the cost.

I booked based on reviews. Those cannot be actual hotel guests. There is no elevator to the second floor. There was no working ice machine. In fact, I never even found a ln ice machine, but was informed by the front desk that none were working. The outside door wasn’t locking when we arrived. It was later fixed, but very flimsy and looked like anyone could jimmy it. The room was incredibly muggy even with a/c cranked up. No vent in the bathroom. There were water marks on the ceiling indicating leaks. This is an older hotel that had been renovated which I really appreciate, but it is apparent that there was enough funding to buy some cool looking aesthetics but not enough to make the property truly comfortable. My biggest complaint is that I rely heavily on guest reviews to decide where I make reservations. I’d encourage Hotels.com to look into the reviews of this property.

Staff were great. Was able to get room changed to downstairs because I had heavy luggage and a cooler ans the hotel does not have an elevator. So grateful for that first floor room!
