Motel 6-Monroe, LA

I was very unsatisfied because on the website it said that they had a swimming pool that's the reason why I rented a room there and then when I got there the pool was covered they need to have that on the website saying that the pool is not in service right now and then the room the deadbolt on it was broke look like somebody kicked the door in the air conditioner wouldn't it took it hours to cool the room off I think I should be entitled to my money back cuz that was very misleading and very unorganized and I'm very unsatisfied

The air was cool parking is ok

There was no pool poor neighborhood

There’s was a lot going on in the parking area, I had to park on the side but the beds were comfortable. Just wish they gave more towels especially since we’re a family of 5

It was a decent room considering the price although no pool and no mini fridge kept this experience from being great we still had a decent experience and I’d recommend it In a cheap room list.

Bedbugs and smelled like mold swimming pool wasn't maintained. Room was filthy. They offered another room but if there's bedbugs in one room they are in all the rooms. And there was a drug pipe on the floor

Parking was good right in front my door Staff was friendly and welcoming Room was clean Air conditioning was great

It's always hot in the room when we first show up until we cool it down after turning the air on. It seems to be a lot of traffic in the parking lot which makes it kind of difficult to go outside to your vehicle afraid that you might get robbed or being a female raped or assaulted in some kind. And in the lobby it is plain they don't have no kind of chairs or anything that gives the lobby any character.

The tub and bathroom wasn’t clean

The rooms had a very bad smell and were extremely dirty. Bathroom floor was filthy. The pillow cases and comforter had holes in them. Sheets had human hair on them. There was black mold in dresser and stained walls.

Most dirty Hotel on my ehole life

The room has some bugs and the shower room is felty.

Stop rejecting my review. There is no profanity, no price mentioned or anything of that nature. What I found in my stay was hair, dirt, mold in random places. Clearly all that was done to that room was someone made the bed and put a folded towel . I understand the motel is older and I expect things to be worn out and older. There’s no reason a room should be rented out bring that dirty.

Horrible experience. Room was dirty and stunk, plumbing wouldn’t drain in sink, no toilet paper in room, roaches behind mini fridge. 0 stars. I got refunded for my stay and left. Was as if the staff only made the bed and left everything else the way it was

Disgusting!!!! I have NEVER been so disappointed in a place that it would prompt me to write to their corporate office but I’m going to. . Dirty walls, beds that look haphazardly made, holes in the wall, shower curtains with mold at the bottom, 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth, bathroom floor looking like it hasn’t been mopped and when you need ice they give 1 tiny bag and have no problem telling you NO if you request a second. Please don’t think I’m exaggerating and to top it off they have a front desk staff that is rudder than ANYTHING I’ve ever experienced. Don’t spend your $$$ here.

Cheap little hotel that’s older. The room had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. You can tell they try to keep it clean but failed. The ac unit made a terrible noise all night and the bathroom light did nothing but flicker all night.

Everything was great but the WiFi. Signal wasn’t reaching my room.

Wifi didn't work in my room

Hotel room was disgusting and had mold growing out of the shower and shower curtain. Cigarette burns in the sheets and bedding and every surface was dirty. I could not stay there because the door was easy to open without key card. Would not recommend whatsoever

The room smelled like an ash tray, no fridge. No remote for the TV, no towels, bathroom light had exposed live wires, and i was propositioned by a prostitute while bringing luggage into my room in front of my children.

I booked based on positive reviews. Hotel was in desperate need of renovation's. Smoke detector falling off the wall. Toilet paper holder falling off the wall. Knobs missing on closet door. Tv did not work. One of the 2 beds was completely broken. Tub appeared to have cracks. You get what you pay for, but this was not even worth what we paid. I guess if you’re looking for some female services, the ladies in the stairs would be happy to help. If you’re looking to offload some of your “supply”, there are people walking around actively asking. Did not feel safe. It was “clean”, but the damages to the room outdid any cleaning that can be done.

My door didn't have a latch to lock my room and yet again my room was dirty and it took six hours for someone to come see what was wrong with my toilet.

Water leaked all over the bathroom somehow when we got back after checking in. Had wet feet from that. Also rained that night so ceiling leaked all over. Don’t even have blankets as covers. Basically curtains for blankets. It’s a cheap motel but the price for what we went through was still too high

I literally stay here every other week and this was the only time where the room was actually nice and clean…I think it was one of the remodeled rooms…and the WiFi worked great…I have no complaints this time.

1st room no light switches, 2nd room no heat, 3rd room was very suitable. Front desk was annoyed by my needing fully functioning room.

The lady at the front desk was not real friendly. The room was not what was expected and she won't offer another room.I will not use Motel 6 ever again.

Checking in the staff member was more than accommodating and helpful. The following day though, the manager of tire property was an absolute terror to deal with and I pray other guests are not treated the way she treated me.

Was a nice clean room, great size for the price. No fridge/microwave or other amenities, but then we didn't really need them for a one night stay on our trip. Staff in lobby was friendly and helpful.

The staff was outstanding. I had left medications and my cane behind at check-out I didn't realize it until the I was getting ready for bed. I called the office and they immediately knew the situation and they had secured everything and had it locked away in the office. I was very grateful for the way they handled things.

After a long travel, When I arrived my room had been given to someone else. Whom ever checked in supposedly signed my name. So I don’t think ID was checked. Ended up having to go to another hotel. The staff didn’t seem to concerned. Will not stay there ever.

Arrived and got checked in at the front desk. Lady was not overly friendly but not a big deal. I got to my room and immediately realized there were no towels. I walked back down to the office within 10 minutes of original check in and asked nicely for some towels. The woman behind the desk acted as if she were totally "put out" with me. She raised her voice and was extremely rude, telling me I'd have to wait because she was counting her money as it was the end of her shift. She acted like I had inconvenienced her SO badly. Won't be going back.

I like they have vending machines. The hotel has the same GM from my last stay 5 years ago. She is a liability to the hotel as well as most of the staff she hired. She is rude and unprofessional and has created a culture of poor job performance and indifference towards guest satisfaction. In 5 years, the GM has done nothing to improve hotel operations. Rooms remain half cleaned, uninspected and absent of towels, soap and cups. The improvements she has the authority to facilitate will never happen because she does not care and that attitude is mirrored by her staff. Calls aren't answered overnight, no follow-up and no desire to make the guest experience better. The owners need to consider terminating, as any room improvements they make will be cared for in the same manner employees care for hotel guests-with indifference and disrespect.

We booked a non-smoking room, but the entire room reeks of marijuana, making it very uncomfortable to stay in. Outside, people are screaming, playing loud music, and causing constant disturbance. The atmosphere feels unsafe and unsettling, especially for families or anyone seeking a quiet stay. Management seems uninterested in addressing these issues, which makes the overall experience extremely disappointing. Definitely not recommended.

I liked nothing about this property...nothing. It was so dirty that there was even trash and piles of dirt under the bed and the floors were dirty. The bathroom was filthy. And I'm pretty sure we saw crack being sold outside our door that didn't even lock....DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The girl at the front counter was nice and helpful during check in. I had to pay extra for the request of a fridge and microwave. I requested directions to the ice machine and was handed a small plastic bag of ice. Once in my room, the freezer section in the fridge was soooo frozen over the small bag would not fit. I returned to the front desk - my room was changed. This room was located 4 doors down a dark outside hallway. The freezer was better, so I decided to bring in my items. I then discovered I had one small towel, 1/3 roll of TP, NO soap or any other items. I left for dinner and stopped by the front to request additional items. Five people were in line and the girl was not in sight. I went on to dinner. When returning from dinner around 8 PM, getting dark, I looked around the darkening parking lot. It was not well lit; my door was located down a dark, unlit hallway/ outdoor. I felt unsafe; as I was being watched. I exited my vehicle and hurried to my door, locked it and stayed inside for the night. At 2 AM I was awakened to a loud pounding on the neighbor door: Knock,Knock "Fxxx" repeated many times. Finally the man gained access and was screaming at the person inside. "What the Fxxx?? Don't you Fxxx with me!!!" This continued for 20 min or so. At 6 AM I gathered up my items; carried everything to the car. I then noticed the back right side of my car had been hit/ damaged. I left and did not return for the second booked night - I did not feel safe.

Not the best area of Monroe. Room is was dirty. Night staff not friendly. Cable went out and never came back on.

Very dirty Felt like a very unsafe part of town Walked into room and there was coffee or something spilled in the floor, it had a heavy marjauina smell inside the room we walked in looked around and went back to the front desk to get our money back.

Terrible, terrible all around. There were not too friendly looking men hanging around the parking lot. I couldn't even get out of the car! A nightmare experience!

It was okay the rooms definitely didn’t have coffee pits nor offer free breakfast.

Dump! Dirty! No coffee pot! Shower filthy! Burn marks all over everything! Non smoking room! Outlet covers missing! No light bulbs in lamps!

The guy that checked me in was very kind. The first room we went the TV didn't work and it was unclean. It was no perks offered. No coffee in the morning which I would suggest any hotels should have.
