Nereus

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour,nous étions avec notre fille de 25 ans et une de ses amies , nous avons adoré l'endroit qui est très nature , accès à l'immense et magnifique plage preciosa, l'hôtel est installé au milieu d'un parc , une expérience hors du commun... La nourriture est délicieuse et variée ,preparée avec soin par Stuart et Jenny. Stuart est charmant et a un très bon relationnel avec ses clients. J'ai juste regretté de ne pas pouvoir vraiment échanger avec lui car mon anglais est limité, heureusement les filles ont communiqué... Nous sommes restés 3 nuits du 11 au 14 mars dernier et je recommande vivement cet endroit exceptionnel ambiance familiale et chaleureuse..

Notre séjour au Nereus a été merveilleux. Tout d'abord le lieu est calme, entouré d'une nature luxuriante et nous entendons le bruit des vagues au bout du chemin. Nous sommes entourés par les singes hurlants, les capucins et un couple d'aras. La nourriture est excellente. Des repas équilibrés, frais et savoureux. Après 2 semaines de "rice & beans" c'était pile ce qu'il nous fallait. Stuart est un hôte attentionné en nous donnant un tas d'informations utiles et en nous aidant à organiser nos excursions. Et pour ponctuer le tout notre bungalow était confortable et spacieux (grand lit, climatisation et douche chaude).

Staff is great. Family-style breakfasts and dinners were wonderful. Rooms/casitas are nice, hotel overall is lovely. Location is good and bad. Great proximity to isolated beach. Road to the hotel is very slow, bumpy, and pothole-ridden. 4x4 highly recommended and the road wil add 20 minutes a each way to your trip in and out of the hotel, so plan accordingly.

As a Tico used to the standard formal check-in process, my experience at this hotel was a refreshing departure from the norm. Instead of a traditional reception desk, we were greeted personally by the owners, who took the time to show us the property and ensure we were settled. Their deep local knowledge and accommodating nature truly set the tone for the stay. The Atmosphere This is the place to go if you are looking for a genuine mental and physical detox. It is important to note that this is not a "party" hotel—there is no loud music in the common areas. It is designed for those looking to escape stress and noise. I returned home feeling recharged rather than tired, which is a rare and welcome result of a vacation. Dining & Drinks The culinary experience is a highlight. While they don’t serve a traditional "Tico" breakfast, the healthy options provided were excellent and gave me plenty of energy for the day. Honestly, there is no need to head into town for lunch or dinner; the food here is some of the best in the area in terms of both quality and cost. For those who enjoy a drink, the bar is well-stocked with a great variety of liquors and a consistently cold supply of beer. Service & Amenities Service: The staff is incredibly polite and helpful. Whether I needed a lighter or specific food requests, they were attentive and professional. Cleanliness: The room cleaning service was flawless.
