When we checked in in the afternoon, the area was kind of sketchy. The bathroom toilet was all stained TV did not work and when we called the front desk, they said oh it must be broken. Try to resolve the Issue. The place was very ran down. Half the outlets in the room did not work. This was not a inexpensive place. We paid premium amounts for the room. Would definitely not stay here again.

The clerk who checked us in was having computer problems and it took several minutes to finally get the system to take my payment. They had a sign for breakfast at 6am but there was no breakfast in fact the door was locked. When we went to check out @8 am the office door was still locked and we had to ring a door bell to get someone to come and take the keys to the room. I do not recommend this motel at all.

Hot water didn’t work in shower. No mini fridge or microwave. They price gouge. Charged almost $700.00 for only 2 nights for a run down motel.

I think Expedia should send somebody to stay there and decide if this is really the type of property they want to list. It has no functioning lobby; guests check in at a window that opens to the parking lot. I booked a nonsmoking room and they gave me a smoking room with air so bad that all my clothes had to be washed as soon as I left, but there seemed to be vacant nonsmoking rooms. The floor is soft in some places under the carpets. The owner/desk clerk seemed like she didn't want us to stay there. Family members in the room complained of bedbugs. The toilet flushed sporadically.

Location was good for what we needed. The room was very unkempt. Found previous peoples drug materials and whatnot. We get, you get what you pay for, but it seems like this location is cleaned and sanitize properly. Not sure if I’d ever recommend or return back to that place. Hoping for better for them.

The dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. They were rude, the bed was broken, the toilet broke, several people had issues at check in, and by the time I got to my room I wish I had been one of them.

Bug infested, tiny rooms, run down furniture

The whole property is run down. I dont mind if furniture is broken & walls are all patched up. But at least the room should be clean. Sink full of hair. Floors hadnt been swept. Every surface dirty. Sheet had cigarette burns on it. Carpet nasty full of burn whole. Dont stay here unless your desperate & then its best to stay in your car.

Do not stay at this hotel I have stayed at a lot of hotels in my days. This is the worst by far the room was crap. Burn holes in the sheets and bed cover burn marks on the sinks in the bathroom just the grossest room I have ever stepped into.

The room is dirty as is the bathroom. The linens on the bed were filthy.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, smelled fresh, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. if you're looking for a no-frills motel that's affordable on Georgis football game weekends, this is a great place. I'd come back.

Not worth $30 a night. No lamp in the room, only lighting was a wall mounted light where the entry hall meets the bedroom, or the bathroom light. No facial tissue, lowest quality bath tissue available. I actually drove home after a 40 Watt Club show (1.5 hours) rather than stay in the room.

It's a solid basic motel but we had a noisy drink frig that can be annoying if you're a light sleeper.

Room was outdated, smelled terrible, all outlets sparked when plugging up anything. No lamps on side table, not enough towels, washcloths, hair in shower, toilet water smelled like sewage. Bed was old and hard, didnt offer enough pillows. Floor had at least 4 soft spots. Do not recommend!

There was one bed when we ordered 2. The image online is just flip flopped. The people across the way were smoking something that smelled like burning rubber. There were burn marks all over the counters. We also had a great view into someone’s backyard. We ended up leaving at 2 in the morning because of the poor experience. We were in room 210

I saw previous reviews and was really worried, but there were no other hotels available nearby for my dates. I brought my own coffee maker, got a non-smoking room, and hoped for the best. It was fine! No bugs, clean sheets and towels, refrigerator, microwave, TV, and internet all worked fine. It was relatively quiet and an easy walk to everywhere I needed to go. Toilet was a little iffy, but it is an older, simple hotel. No breakfast or coffee, and may be a bit of cultural difference that affects the way the owner comes across to some, but both he and his wife were kind and accommodating in all interactions with me. Overall, everything I needed and I have no complaints.

Let me first start off by saying, this hotel is a joke and should be shut down.  The check-in process was a ridiculous by any means.  I called ahead weeks before, to confirm our room, which was good.  I was thinking this would be an easy process.  I also asked them if they were fine with American Express, which they said they were.  So all things are good, right, not necessarily. Arrived on-site, got to front desk, my Amex was declined….very baffled by that since the credit limit should be substantial enough.  Tried again, no luck.  Called Amex to see what was going on, they could not see the transaction attempts so my thoughts are that their system may be down, seems legitimate right?  Front desk attendant called his manager I guess, could not understand what they were saying because they were speaking some foreign language, which is another problem.  (Very rude to not speak English when you have an English speaking customer, feel like I am at a disadvantage here.) The front desk attendant hung up with the so-called manager and told me that I needed to try another card or go get cash, but yet could not get me an answer as to why my Amex was not working. I could see on the machine that Amex was one of the products that could be used. Again, the front desk attendant called his manager, same thing. After the third call, we later learned that they do not take Amex, well, they could have said that in the beginning. Overall check-in was terrible.

The owners were accommodating and friendly. The air conditioner in the room was in great working order. The cleanliness of the room could definitely be improved upon. There were no bed bugs or other insects seen. We had 3 rooms and stayed one night. It was reasonably priced.

Perfectly nestled into the downtown area just blocks from downtown.

Bare minimum motel experience, but safe, quiet and convenient. Good location, short walk to downtown Athens, and bagel place across the street is great for breakfast. Don't forget to ask for the wifi password on arrival. Shower was only very hot or very cold.

Not as good as I had hoped. Nothing in walking distance. I was attend a conference at UGA but the conference facility was full. This location was a poor substitute
