The property is beautiful, very tastefully designed, and new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s a bar on property open until 9pm daily. There are 3 gorgeous gas firepits outside that lines the middle of the property and is a very private setting.

Room was great! Plenty of bedding and pillows, comfortable beds, high ceilings which made things feel bigger, huge shower and double sinks. Included continental breakfast that went until 10:30 was nice, but options were pretty sparse and repetitive with additional for-purchase options only so-so as well. The fire pit areas were lovely and cozy, and never crowded as there aren’t very many units. Location was great—easily walkable to the Parkway while still tucked away from all the busyness and crowds.

This is a hidden gem. Not really walkable to town but not an issue. The really great gas firepits and comfy chairs was a great break from the bustle of town. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Celebrated our 10th Anniversary here and loved it! Once e arrived and got settled into our premium king room we decided to extend our stay. The premium room wasn’t available so we had to move to a one bedroom suite which is smaller. I wouldn’t select the one bedroom again. Bathroom awkward and bed uncomfortable. The premium king room was superior! Bed was soo comfy and bathroom was huge! Extra pillows and blanket are supplied as well. Continental Breakfast supplies consisted of yogurt, fruit, muffins & cereal, coffee, tea & juices. There are menu options you can purchase which we did and they were good! Restaurant was closed The evenings we were there. I was impressed to see the young gentleman who cleans, on a ladder cleaning the inside of the outdoor lights! Fire pits were lit every morning and night. The staff were all very friendly!! Walking distance to downtown, about 12 minutes. Steep road to walk back up so be mindful. There’s a huge parking lot at the bottom of the road with $10 parking if you don’t want the walk up the hill.

Amazing clean cabin style place. Just off the main strip with a 10 minute walk. Beats paying for parking for sure. Peaceful fire pit at night with a stream to listen to while you relax. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning hotel! The design is beautifully thought out, blending clean, modern comfort with a cozy mountain ambiance. Our room was spotless and so inviting—we truly loved our stay. The staff were all warm and welcoming, and a special shoutout to Kesha at the bar who made me the best cocktail after a long drive. It was exactly what I needed!

Room was spacious, very clean, bed was super comfortable, area is away from the main road so quiet and peaceful. Walkable to the main road though. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast area with good free basics. Completely recommend this hotel!

Loved the room decor, very clean property, fire pits are a nice touch and the continental breakfast was very good. The only problem for us, no service in the rooms so when you come back, beds aren’t made, coffee isn’t replaced and dirty towels were not gathered.

The room and grounds were extremely clean and exactly as pictured. All of the staff were very responsive and kind. The location is excellent; it's close to everything, but tucked away so that it's quiet. Our room was well-appointed and felt more like a vacation home than a hotel room. Our family would stay here every time we're in the area.

Our stay at The Timber at Holly Brand was overall wonderful! The outdoor spaces, living areas, and bedroom were all well-maintained and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, offering a great selection and served by friendly staff. The reason for my four-star rating is due to two issues: the bathrooms were not as clean as expected compared to the rest of the property, and the mini-split units (AC/heat) in the bedroom displayed an error code during the night, accompanied by a bright flashing LED light. Additionally, the mini-split system was somewhat confusing to operate, even with the provided instructions. We would 100% stay here again!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’ll try to keep it short. I booked one night through the Expedia app. Upon checking in, the host knocked on my door aggressively, telling me I couldn’t stay with my service dog, Milky. She was extremely rude and insisted I leave the property. Shortly after, the manager Patrick called me, saying I had to leave because I didn’t notify them in advance about the dog. However, nowhere during the booking process did it state that prior notice was required. I submitted all the proper documentation for my service animal, yet the general manager still called me questioning why my dog was a service animal — absolutely unacceptable and discriminatory. In the end, we stayed, but the cabin itself was very disappointing. The bed was awful, the bathroom was dirty with a hole in the ceiling and hair all over the floor (check the photos). Also, they advertise breakfast, but don’t be fooled — it’s not included. All they offer is water, juice, and cereal — everything else must be purchased. Avoid this place. Terrible experience.

WOW!! That's what you'll say when you stay at The Timber! Those were the first words out of my mouth. LOL! The room is GORGEOUS and spacious. Super clean! And the shower - Ohmygoodness - AH-mazing! The firepits and chairs create a wonderful ambience. We saw 2 bears! Don't hesitate about staying here - BOOK IT! We WILL be back!

Beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay. The staff at breakfast and at the bar in the evening were so kind and welcoming. We didn’t know that housekeeping wouldn’t come in to our room while we were checked in but the staff gave us all the towels and wash cloths that we needed. We walked from our room daily down to the parkway and over to the gatlinburg trail. If you don’t mind a steep hill, it is definitely walkable to many of the great things you can do in Gatlinburg. It gave cabin in the mountain vibes while still being close to all the fun activities. Sitting around the smokeless fire pits in the mornings and in the evenings and only being able to hear the stream behind us and the birds chirping made for a relaxing little getaway.

We enjoyed our stay here greatly! The accommodations were excellent and especially enjoyed the log cabin feel and vaulted ceilings. Gas fire pits were very cozy and so unique. We would come back again without a doubt! Thanks for a pleasant stay❣️

Nice newer place to stay and a great alternative to the other options in Gatlinburg. We wanted to be close to the park and in a quieter part of town which ticked both boxes for us. We unfortunately didn’t utilize the bar or breakfast options- the latter which I don’t think was communicated very well. We left early both days so it didn’t affect us either. The finishes in the room are super nice and the bathrooms are lovely! The doors are creaky so we got woken up when folks left real early (W940?). Also, the door had a shade but they are not black out and the outdoor/flood lights are very bright and I feel like that would be an easy fix!

Celebrated our 10th Anniversary here and loved it! Once e arrived and got settled into our premium king room we decided to extend our stay. The premium room wasn’t available so we had to move to a one bedroom suite which is smaller. I wouldn’t select the one bedroom again. Bathroom awkward and bed uncomfortable. The premium king room was superior! Bed was soo comfy and bathroom was huge! Extra pillows and blanket are supplied as well. Continental Breakfast supplies consisted of yogurt, fruit, muffins & cereal, coffee, tea & juices. There are menu options you can purchase which we did and they were good! Restaurant was closed The evenings we were there. I was impressed to see the young gentleman who cleans, on a ladder cleaning the inside of the outdoor lights! Fire pits were lit every morning and night. The staff were all very friendly!! Walking distance to downtown, about 12 minutes. Steep road to walk back up so be mindful. There’s a huge parking lot at the bottom of the road with $10 parking if you don’t want the walk up the hill.

It was our first time to Gatlinburg, and WOW did this place exceed our expectations. I love the cabin feel, and how updated the rooms are. It’s such a beautiful atmosphere! We will definitely be coming back every year.

WOW!! That's what you'll say when you stay at The Timber! Those were the first words out of my mouth. LOL! The room is GORGEOUS and spacious. Super clean! And the shower - Ohmygoodness - AH-mazing! The firepits and chairs create a wonderful ambience. We saw 2 bears! Don't hesitate about staying here - BOOK IT! We WILL be back!

This new property is amazing. A gem just off the beaten path from downtown Gatlinburg. The only hiccup being that somehow my cell phone didn't make it from Hotels/Expedia to the property, so the check-in code for the room wasn't texted to me. So I had to call the property's main number. But the property and room are incredible. Feels like an outdoor cabin. The fire pits in the middle are a nice touch!

Absolutely stunning hotel! The design is beautifully thought out, blending clean, modern comfort with a cozy mountain ambiance. Our room was spotless and so inviting—we truly loved our stay. The staff were all warm and welcoming, and a special shoutout to Kesha at the bar who made me the best cocktail after a long drive. It was exactly what I needed!

Fantastic experience from booking through check out. Staff answered questions promptly prior to check in and responded to requests for towels within 20 minutes (which was appreciated, but not needed as I requested for the next day). Dinner was fabulous, staff was exceptional. Breakfast is quick grab and go, or hot food (extra cost) to order if required. Traveled with group of 4 adult family members and suite was spacious and comfortable. Walk to town is quick, tough the uphill back is very dark so be mindful of wildlife. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay. The staff at breakfast and at the bar in the evening were so kind and welcoming. We didn’t know that housekeeping wouldn’t come in to our room while we were checked in but the staff gave us all the towels and wash cloths that we needed. We walked from our room daily down to the parkway and over to the gatlinburg trail. If you don’t mind a steep hill, it is definitely walkable to many of the great things you can do in Gatlinburg. It gave cabin in the mountain vibes while still being close to all the fun activities. Sitting around the smokeless fire pits in the mornings and in the evenings and only being able to hear the stream behind us and the birds chirping made for a relaxing little getaway.

Room was spacious, very clean, bed was super comfortable, area is away from the main road so quiet and peaceful. Walkable to the main road though. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast area with good free basics. Completely recommend this hotel!

Room was great! Plenty of bedding and pillows, comfortable beds, high ceilings which made things feel bigger, huge shower and double sinks. Included continental breakfast that went until 10:30 was nice, but options were pretty sparse and repetitive with additional for-purchase options only so-so as well. This is a hidden gem. Not really walkable to town but not an issue. The really great gas firepits and comfy chairs was a great break from the bustle of town. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

The property is beautiful, very tastefully designed, and new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s a bar on property open until 9pm daily. There are 3 gorgeous gas firepits outside that lines the middle of the property and is a very private setting.

Nice new place with comfortable furnishings and upscale facilities. We were happy it was a little out of the way and off the main drag. I’d recommend dinners at Bennett’s barbecue or big daddy Pizza very close by and have their own parking lot so you don’t have to get involved in the craziness in the center of town. The breakfast was pretty basic. It was basically coffee, muffins granola and Chobani yogurt and very limited fresh fruit. You could buy additional add-ons if you wanted to.

The room was very nice, very spacious and clean. It was hard to find the hotel, but a lady helped us 😊. The only downside was the breakfast I asked for French toast and it was something that they just threw in the microwave. If I knew I would choose another place for breakfast.

Our stay at The Timber at Holly Brand was overall wonderful! The outdoor spaces, living areas, and bedroom were all well-maintained and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, offering a great selection and served by friendly staff. The reason for my four-star rating is due to two issues: the bathrooms were not as clean as expected compared to the rest of the property, and the mini-split units (AC/heat) in the bedroom displayed an error code during the night, accompanied by a bright flashing LED light. Additionally, the mini-split system was somewhat confusing to operate, even with the provided instructions. We would 100% stay here again!

It was an amazing stay. We had everything we needed and more. The space is great for a family of 4-5. We stayed in the two-room suite and the beds were spacious for two teens and a couple. The living room had a sofa that could be used by one adult. The shower and restroom is spacious and clean. The daily continental breakfast is good and the best place to see bears walk throughout the property. Every morning we got to see bears, it was a dream. Make sure you lock your cars, as the bears are great at opening doors, as the paw prints on our car pointed out. In the back there is an area for some outdoor games, but be aware of bears! The location is optimal, as it is close enough to the city, but far from tourists noise and traffic. Loved Pam and her team, very professional and friendly. She's always there and ready to help or chat about the bears. We loved our stay there and even extended it another night. We can't wait to vacation there next year.

Cabin was fabulous. All the people on the complex were friendly with each other. A shared experience watching a couple of black bears heading down the hill. Great place just a short walk to the town and all the restaurants and shops. Great little town!
