Parking was easy and getting to my room was easy enough. The elevator and hallway smelled pretty funny. But, my room was clean enough and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and I got a good night's rest. I'd stay again!

Filthy. We had three rooms for a college event. All of the rooms were smelly: fish/ dog / cigarette smell all rolled into one. I went out and bought air freshener. The bathroom had splashes of brown on the walls. Feces? Food?? Rusty sink and bathtub. The light switches had visible dirt on them. Toilet ran all night. Broken stand up lamp. There was no blanket on one bed in my room. The tables in the buffet area were dirty. There was staff lounging around on their phones in the lobby. The elevator had a dirty floor with food crumbs as well. Sketchy people smoking pot at the front door. Sketchy cars in the parking lot. Seems to be a flop house for otherwise homeless people who are living there. I just pray I did not bring bed begs home. The property was adequate for a short stay. The rooms were dated but clean. We stayed in a handicapped-accessible room, and unfortunately, the bathroom door was too wide for the frame and wouldn’t close properly. There was a noticeable smoky smell throughout the facilities, and the breakfast area was quite small. I also wasn’t aware that the first-floor rooms had exterior access, which may be important for some guests to know. On a positive note, the front desk associate was extremely kind and welcoming, even at a late hour when we checked in, which made for a great first impression. The coffee area in the lobby was also a nice touch, with a good selection of creamers and syrups available at all hours. Additionally, the floors and walls were well-insulated, so noise from neighboring rooms wasn’t an issue. Overall, it’s a decent option for a one-night stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer visits.

Registrarme fue fácil pero el cuarto estaba súper sucio las colchas de la cama estaban sucias muchas manchas el baño muy sucio sobretodo la bañera el pasillo olía mucho a cigarro el elevador estaba sucio en mi opinión deberían contratar gente trabajadora por que la verdad les hace falta hace un mes me hospedé en Florida y mi estancia fue estupenda todo muy limpio y olía muy bien pero aquí en Durham olía horrible deben trabajar en eso

hotel is very old and there was mold on the ceiling ties. shower needs to be renovated. bedding was clean though. breakfast in the morning was limited compared to other Comfort Inns we have stayed in. Given the price, this was not worth the stay because of cleanliness issues

Got placed at this hotel by Expedia because the first one I booked was overbooked. We had to change rooms right away because of a bunch of hair on both beds. Second rooms bed (just one) was better but there was blood on bathroom walls and dirt everywhere. That night there was a fight that broke out in the parking lot at 2 am with a woman beating her grown daughter. Awful experience .

My family and I stayed in two different rooms for a weekend trip to the area for a local college graduation. The employees of the hotel were all very kind. From the front desk, to the housekeeping staff and the kitchen staff. Very helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately, the condition of our bedrooms was deplorable. Both separate rooms were so dirty. There was a used bar of soap in our shower. Trash on the floor. Hairs on beds, dirty tub, smelly rooms, pictures in the rooms had streaks of some substance on them almost like spills and have not been cleaned. We didn’t even shower the whole weekend bc we didn’t want to get in the shower. Couldn’t check out fast enough. There needs to be some sort of quality control to make sure that these rooms are up to par. The cost per night for one of the rooms because it was booked two weeks prior, was over $250 per night. It was really hard to think about the cost of $500 for two nights and such conditions. We would have asked for another room, but with two already being this dirty, what was the point and we would have gone to another hotel had their been availability, but with it being graduation weekend, we knew there were no other options.

The room we were given, door did not close correctly. The front desk gave another couple that checked in right before us, the same room so they were able to just walk in using the same room key. We all went to the front desk to straighten things out but they didn’t apologize about it. They said they were going to call maintenance about the door and that they knew about it already. We got a different room witch the bath tube did not work. Very, very, very bad experience!!!! Never again.

Room needed attention. One decorative curtain was lying on the floor and a lamp didn’t work. I told the front desk about the lamp but nothing was done about it. Also there were no washcloths. When I asked we were given some. Then later while we were out someone came in and removed both the hand towels and didn’t replace them The bed was pretty comfortable but the bed cover was stained.

Reserved 2 rooms many months in advance. When room prices sky rocketed in the area for a concert on the weekend we had reservations the Comfort Inn canceled our rooms (likely to make more money on other reservations). This left us to search for rooms in a sold out area.

On the outside, the hotel looks nice, but the first room that we looked out on the first floor that we were put in was absolutely terrible. It stunk and was extremely out of date. We asked to move to a different room and got placed on the second floor, which was decent at first until we got home from our event and found ants all over the Nightstands and TV stands and desk. We had to switch rooms again for a second time and we met with no compassion when we told them that there were ants everywhere. We also asked for extra towels and we were told we had to turn in our dirty towels to get new towels because they didn’t have enough. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will never stay at one of these hotels again.

The room we were given, door did not close correctly. The front desk gave another couple that checked in right before us, the same room so they were able to just walk in using the same room key. We all went to the front desk to straighten things out but they didn’t apologize about it. They said they were going to call maintenance about the door and that they knew about it already. We got a different room witch the bath tube did not work. Very, very, very bad experience!!!! Never again.

The property was adequate for a short stay. The rooms were dated but clean. We stayed in a handicapped-accessible room, and unfortunately, the bathroom door was too wide for the frame and wouldn’t close properly. There was a noticeable smoky smell throughout the facilities, and the breakfast area was quite small. I also wasn’t aware that the first-floor rooms had exterior access, which may be important for some guests to know. On a positive note, the front desk associate was extremely kind and welcoming, even at a late hour when we checked in, which made for a great first impression. The coffee area in the lobby was also a nice touch, with a good selection of creamers and syrups available at all hours. Additionally, the floors and walls were well-insulated, so noise from neighboring rooms wasn’t an issue. Overall, it’s a decent option for a one-night stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer visits.

Easy access to restaurants and interstates. Look mug Very unsanitary and musty. Can see the outside through a broken air conditioner grate. Smelled cigarette smoke even though it’s a nonsmoking room. Stained sink. Dirty, used towel on the back of the bathroom door from a previous customer. Very sketchy. Would not recommend!

Filthy. We had three rooms for a college event. All of the rooms were smelly: fish/ dog / cigarette smell all rolled into one. I went out and bought air freshener. The bathroom had splashes of brown on the walls. Feces? Food?? Rusty sink and bathtub. The light switches had visible dirt on them. Toilet ran all night. Broken stand up lamp. There was no blanket on one bed in my room. The tables in the buffet area were dirty. There was staff lounging around on their phones in the lobby. The elevator had a dirty floor with food crumbs as well. Sketchy people smoking pot at the front door. Sketchy cars in the parking lot. Seems to be a flop house for otherwise homeless people who are living there. I just pray I did not bring bed begs home. I complained to the front desk and they offered me air freshener and gave me a blanket for my bed. You do not want to stay here!

hotel is very old and there was mold on the ceiling ties. shower needs to be renovated. bedding was clean though. breakfast in the morning was limited compared to other Comfort Inns we have stayed in. Given the price, this was not worth the stay because of cleanliness issues

It was good overall; attendants were courteous and friendly. Free breakfast was good. However two things were not as pleasant: the AC was noisy and the fan was on all night. The bathroom was clean except for the toilet bowl; there was a pink ring around the water that I was able to remove with toilet tissue which means it wasn't cleaned often enough. Unsightly.

Had an asthma attack as soon as I stepped in the hotel! It’s truly smoked out. We got a non smoking room and it still reeked of smoke. I would not stay there again for free.
