Garner Hotel Gillette South by IHG

Room was clean, was are thin so you can hear people coming in and out, or when folks are talking in the hallway. Breakfast was okay-wish they would have had waffles. Not bad for the price.

It was a very friendly environment and the staff. Everyone had a smile and was eager to help with all of my questions. My dogs came along on my trip and the staff were so excited to meet them. I will definitely be using this hotel for every visit I have to Gillette

I wanted to love this hotel. We picked it for the pool as we have kiddos. And they liked it just fine. It’s not the hotel’s fault that we went on a busy sports weekend. So the pool was very very busy. They told us that they bring pool towels around. They didn’t so walking back with a soaking swimsuit wasn’t cool but not the end of the world. The website also said that they offer rollaway beds for an extra fee which cool, we needed one because rooms were scarce during that weekend which we expected. They DID NOT have rollaway beds at all. The hotel didn’t offer them. Not just they didn’t have any available; they do not offer them ever. So I asked for extra bedding because one of the kids said he’d sleep on the floor. They said “we don’t have extra bedding. They are available for the suites. But you can have this..” and gave me two flat sheets. This was not a cheap hotel. The bathroom in our room had sticky floors when we got there. Gross but with room scarcity, we had to make do. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone honestly.

Great hotel

Clean room, quiet hotel, good breakfast. Only complaint was the water park was out of towels often and the front desk wasn’t very helpful about it. Referred us to talk to the hotel across the parking lot (Fairfield) as they are in charge of the water park.
