The Omni Barton Creek is a sprawling resort on a golf course with multiple outdoor pools, a very large and complete fitness center with indoor pool, restaurants and a spa (and plenty more). It's popular with families in the summer and upon arrival there were plenty of families with kids everywhere.. quite the hubbub, but fortunately my room was up high and away from all of that. The room and furnishings were excellent. Everything was comfortable and clean. The room was refreshed nicely and I was able to sleep well each night. The fitness center is truly amazing. Lots of treadmills, elipitical, stairmaster, free weights, barbells, an indoor track (13 times around for 1 mile), etc. A complete locker room with steam room, showers, and all the necessary grooming supplies. Mokara Spa is a very nice facility too. During my stay, they swapped the men's and women's sides (if I understood right) while repairing the steam room... so I didn't get to enjoy that but did get a great massage and lots of quiet relax time there. The food at the restaurants and coffe shop was good as well. There's a lot ot like here.

We have a great stay for fall break. The food on the property was very good. It was quiet and clean an plenty to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. We did the nature trail, the putt putt, the pool, the bounce house. Loved it and will be back. Very pretty property

We decided to stay at the Omni Barton Creek Resort for a mini getaway during spring break week. The facility was clean and well-kept, and the views were amazing. The children’s activities were great, and my 5yo loved them. The dining options were good, but we were expecting more food variety for the breakfast buffet. The outdoor pools were too cold (the water didn’t seem to be heated as advertised). The water temp in the inside pool was a lot “warmer,” but the pool does need a lot more maintenance and TLC. Overall, we had a great stay and will def return.

The property is a bit outdated We were double charged for breakfast I don’t remember pool service giving me a receipt of costs to sign. It felt overcrowded at adult pool. Mini golf was very outdated and not clean- kids running around everywhere without shoes. The stairs from 1st to restaurant with green wallpaper was so dirty and heavily trafficked. It just was disappointing. The front desk and cleaners were kind. We come to Austin often and must say I don’t think I would consider this spot again.

The hotel was fine - but the “resort” pool areas were terribly maintained - kids splash area had leaves and no cleanliness - adult pool area was being re painted with a toxic smelling sealant - which vapors spread not only in that pool area and hot tub but wafted over the entire set of pools - terrible it was done on a Sunday afternoon on an otherwise sunny day Miniature golf area and back bar was closed - even at 1pm in a Sunday afternoon - no drink service or food service available Thor near the pools

The property is lovely. Signage to the guest rooms on the first floor is greatly lacking and confusing. My room definitely needed a deep clean. Lots of dust on lamps, pictures, etc. The safe didn’t work. All relatively minor, but for the cost of the stay, it really should be pristine. Room service brought me fruit that was past its prime and even had mold on one of the strawberries.

From start to finish the staff was courteous, professional and helpful. This is what you expect at Omni and it’s good to see they haven’t changed. This property is always clean and comfortable and quiet. Loved it.

The property is very pretty. The pools are very nice. The Spa was a really nice experience. Bobs Chop House was excellent. The food at the Omni was average. The bathtub had paint peeling around it. The rooms could use some updating.

The property is big. When we checked in, our room wasn’t ready so the front desk told us we could eat lunch at their restaurant (Crenshaw) first. We got lost making our way there. Then after lunch we got lost making our way to the elevators for 5th floor. That all was super frustrating. Shelby - a super nice young lady and Paul - at front desk immediately apologized. They noted that in future they will give a property map when guests check in. Anthony at front desk was super gracious. Tye entire valet and front entrance staff are also wonderful. All cleaning staff was amazing and rooms are very clean We had a nice room on 5th floor with beautiful views. Self parking is easy. It’s a large priority so be ready to get your steps in when walking to and from Parking space - we liked getting our steps in. Velvet Joe staff is absolutely warm and wonderful and we loved getting our morning coffee and snack here. I had gone for work bit Ho early wouldn’t mind going back in a winter month with all my family again, just to relax for a week. Gracious staff makes all the difference even if the property itself is wonderful (which it is).

The property is absolutely beautiful, the hotel is older and shows its age(sheets have gotten scratchy, air hockey table no longer works) but is well maintained and our room was perfectly clean. We were disappointed that we requested a late checkout, called and confirmed it again with the front desk the morning of our departure, and then still found ourselves locked out of our room and having to show security our ID’s just to get in to be able to get our stuff to leave.

I want to give this Omni a 5 star review. It really deserves it! Truly wonderful staff from the valet, to the front desk personnel, to the waiters at Bob’s and the barista’s at the coffee shop, everyone was exceptional! We had a great time here. The 4 stars is because the beds are subpar. This was our anniversary staycation and we’re hoping to get some R&R away from the kids but we did not have good nights sleep d/t the springy bed. After the first night they did come out and change the mattress however even the replacement was uncomfortable. The property is beautiful! I just would hope the mattress selection would match the wonderful service and staff on the property. We still had a great time although we do need massages now, lol.

Liked the room, the views, the patio for drinks by the bar, food was good. Didn’t like how loud the lobby bar was- you could not hear the clerks at the desk. You had to shout. That’s not professional. Also didn’t like the tiny balcony outside the room- felt very unsafe and things could fall easily.

The room we were given was disappointing. The window faced the front porch and couldn’t be opened, which made the stay uncomfortable. While the room itself was just average, we decided to check out early rather than spend another night there. Next time, I’ll choose a Marriott or Hilton instead.

The property is very pretty. The pools are very nice. The Spa was a really nice experience. Bobs Chop House was excellent. The food at the Omni was average. The bathtub had paint peeling around it. The rooms could use some updating.

Beautiful hill country views. While we were given a nice room with balcony, it was behind the elevator, so it was hard to sleep at night. First night was fine, but when it got busier Thurs, Friday it became pretty bothersome from 8pm-12am. It's a beautiful property. The only other thing I wish they had was a hot tub that was for all. The only hot tub is adults only. My daughter was sad, since it was cold and the heated pools weren't hot enough to keep her warm (or me, for that matter).

A beautiful property and great staff. We were on a family trip and 3 generations of ladies had a spectacular spa day. The fitness center is without equal in any hotel I've ever stayed in. We are not golfers, but the golf course looks well maintained and beautiful. Great breakfast buffet, handy coffee shop, and a Bob's on site mean you don't really ever have to leave.

The property is beautiful and it’s located in a beautiful area. You can sit on the patio in the lobby area and look at the beautiful landscape. Everyone is very friendly and they have many options for foods and coffee shop with great espresso. The actual room is pretty standard but it’s comfortable.

Great property for a getaway weekend or a golf trip. The best part of our stay though was the service. If you want to stay at a hotel where everyone treats you like a VIP this is THE hotel to book. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels, and most hotels are good at taking care of their customers. The OMNI Barton Creek goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and enjoying your stay. We will be back for sure.

Room/service was great we didn’t have any issues until checkout. Valet took over 15 minutes to retrieve our car (we were patient knowing there was many others waiting as well).. when our car finally came they informed us it was the wrong vehicle and we had to wait 5 more minutes. Keep in mind I have a screaming toddler on my hip.. after finally getting into our car the radio was on (we don’t listen to the radio) I didn’t think anything of it at first figured the valet did it while parking the car. But then I noticed a bag of fast food stuffed under my seat with a receipt in it from the night prior (WHEN WE WERE STAYING AT THE HOTEL). Someone took our car to sonic ate. Didn’t even bother getting rid of the evidence. Still trying to process & understand the situation.

The people that work there are amazing!!! Kay Bonner who helps run things in front office to the best valet people EVER to the luggage help. They do the little things no other hotel does to make it an EXPERIENCE in the best way EVER!!! I’ve been a traveling salesman for 30 years and trust me they RULE!!!

The property was very nice and the hotel staff was great, except for luggage situation. We traveled hours to Barton Creek and had a scheduled dinner 2 hours after we checked in. It 2 hours and 5 minutes to get our bags and we had to get them ourselves. We called 9 times to the front desk/bell desk, we called security three times and walked down to the bell desk twice. After an hour and fifteen minutes, it was determined that they were delivered to the wrong room. No one would get them for us. They did not care whatsoever. Finally we were told which room they were in, but they would still not get them for us. We went to the room and luckily the housekeeping staff was kind enough to let us get out baggage. There were tons of bags in that room that were not even ours. Possibly that’s where they store bags or possibly someone was using that room as a staging room to go through the bags and do a little unauthorized “shopping”. We did not notice anything missing from our bags that we finally got ourselves. The security fellow finally arrived and was very friendly and helpful. He was the only person that was helpful and for that we were thankful. We ended up showing up to dinner 25 minutes late and everyone was wondering what we were doing to be so late. Awful way to start a stay at a lovely place. No one ever said a word and there was not even one apology. If you go to the Omni Barton Creek, DO NOT EXPECT TO GET YOUR BAGS IF YOU LEAVE THEM UPON CHECK IN.

Loved that everything is 20-25 min away but you are in a secluded, nice neighborhood. Staff was very kind and accommodating. The pool was really nice and service great. I had a car so everything was easy to get to. Definitely be back for a golf weekend next time I’m in town.

It’s beautiful. It’s nestled 15 minutes from downtown, but it feels like a coastal resort. I cannot recommend this place enough whether you’re flying in to visit or just looking for a staycation like I was.

Great property in the hill country. You can tell no detail was left out when planning this resort. Very beautiful location and not far from downtown Austin. Sometimes it was hard to believe that the city was nearby. I loved the multiple restaurant options and that the fare was being sourced locally with selections to cater to multiple dietary needs. Self-parking is great! Especially if you don't want to pay the crazy high valet price. To each their own. Jim Bob's Bar and Lounge was intimate and cozy; but the staff, although nice, could have been a little more attentive. The bartenders were multitasking and even seemed overwhelmed at times. Not sure if this is an every day occurrence or just because it was Valentine's/holiday weekend. The spa was amazing and will definitely be back for that! If we were staying longer we would also have hit up the fitness center too. Everything was top notch. Friendly and supportive staff as well. Trust me, that can be a deal breaker for many people. Will gladly return and recommend this place to others.

Beautiful property, amazing amenities, housekeeping very attentive and just all around a great resort. Perfect for families with younger kids and a great getaway for couples or friends looking to have fun for a weekend. Only thing I would say is they need more staff to keep the pool areas clean and the bar should be open a little later in the evening rather than 7pm.

I stayed here over New Year's Eve and it was spectacular. They made it such a fun experience with unexpected snow (machine) to ring in the New Year, live music, s'mores around the fire pit and more! It was a special vacation for sure. Had a great meal at Bob's and at Crenshaws. Rooms were spacious and cozy and the grounds were beautiful. Furthermore, this hotel had the best guest service I've ever encountered. Every single employee went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Pilar Villeneuve at check in told me that I had two reservations showing up in the system but I didn't show that in my reservation. I was so concerned that I would get charged for another non-refundable room and she mentioned that she would fix it without any problem and wanted my stay to be stress and worry free. Christian the valet unloaded all my luggage which was waiting for me in my room by the time I arrived and Jeff happily helped me take my luggage back to the car when I left and offered me a bottle of water for the road trip. Our waitresses at Bob's Steakhouse and Crenshaws were also both exceptional. I'd highly recommend for a special getaway!

Loved - the rolling hills. The scenic view from the pools and property. The activities for families. The 8 restaurant options. Free covered parking at a resort. Didn’t love - not enough shaded or areas with fans at the pools and spas. Could use more or not allow day passes to assure guests have seating. The meh attitude of several servers I came across at the pool and spa. The quality of the food was mediocre. Would have loved more organic and high quality options - especially at the spa and room service. The pillows smelled stale and were overused feathers. Big shoutout to Conner at the front desk. I had gone looking for a shaded lounge chair at the pool because I have skin issues and can’t be in the sun (my kids wanted pool time). Big shoutout to Conner at the front desk. I had gone looking for a shaded lounge chair at the pool because I have skin issues and can’t be in the sun (my kids wanted pool time). It would benefit to have a better, more welcoming approach with more stylish Receptionists not yelling their infos so the next person couldn’t hear what was said to her… A little elegance would help the first approach to this beautiful place. (Take example of the Country Club Members’ Club Desk) The Valet Service was pleasant and efficient but truly, $53.00 per night for Valet Parking is a little exaggerated especially when it is for several nights and that the weather calls for flooding! Otherwise, it was a lovely place, thank you.
