Shower was peeling paint and we had to buy a mat to put down, toilet constantly ran, one burner didn't work but they did end up fixing that. They apparently switched systems part way through our stay and even though we verified we were indeed paid through properly they came to us 3 days before we were supposed to check out telling us that they had it down we were checking out that day and not our correct day. Took 3 people coming to our room and calling to get it finally fixed. The property didnt allow you to use the garbage cans on the floor you were staying on you had to transport it down to the first floor. The elevator and stairwells stunk most of the time. The property said it was pet and smoke free which it was not. They don't provide cooking ware or plates, cups, or utensils so you have to have your own.

I liked that it was convenient because it’s kind of close to downtown. There’s also a washer and dryer which is what I was looking when I found this hotel online and I liked that there was enough parking.

It was decent, was staying to attend graduation, so only one night. However, the hotel room was missing a tv remote & i went to ask front desk, and they said they would get me one in about an hour, and then they never gave us one before the night was over.

The place is good if your just looking for a nice comfy bed. My room did not have a tv remote the office never got back to me about providing me an another one unfortunely which would have made the stay a little bit better internet did not work at all the entire time during my stay beware if you have to work remote there.

I told the front desk that i was having issues with my tv. The security gaurd came and tried to help me, but wasnt able to figure it out. I then showered went back to th front desk to see if they could switch me rooms and they said since i already have been there for over an hour they couldnt do anything. So i had to go and by a tv from walmart so i could relax. It was ridiculous and i will not be staying there again.

My room had clearly not been cleaned. There were wads of hair all over the beds, no TV remote, and a few hours after trying to get to bed I felt a cockroach crawling on me and flung it off. Safe to say I did not finish my night here- I ubered to the airport and spent the rest of the night there. Save your money this place is disgusting

Walked in the too and there were live roaches crawling on the floor! I took photos! I cried! It was a long trip to attend my son’s wedding! I went back to the front desk and told her, retuned the key. The garbage was piled very high in every stairwell! A drugged up male was dancing around, “singing”, etc. He “lives” there. I took an uber to a Hyatt! I had to change clothes in there. o by ladie’s room, due to being almost late to my own son’s waiting!! I needed clean, safe & affordable accommodations, this hotel failed!!!I want a refund! I am on SS Disability and need every penny! What a disappointment!!! My son had to pay for my new room since I had no $$$! Now I have to pay him back! This place should be labeled, “ a drug transient population occupied, roach infested, definitely bedbugs, garbage piled to the ceiling, with a young nice helpless to help employee”!

The hotel is old. Thats forgiveable. What isnt forgiveable are the roaches and feces in the bathroom and under kitchen sink. The place is disgusting. LUCKILY we didnt spen a whole lot of time in the room itself, but will be reporting this hotel to corporate and the health board.

This place was horrible. Dogs and cats everywhere. Dog in room 214 every night and I mean every night would whine and cry for at least an hour at same time. Roaches, dirty floors, dirty towels (every one), no wash clothes, stove top rusty, rude desk clerks, old soap and hairs left in rest room, rooms torn up (room 142 had visible mold) had too move to room 214 next to crying dog. People living in their car in the parking lot. Trash full and not emptied my whole stay.

When I entered the lobby there was trash on the floor, a overflowing tall trash can behind the desk, and furniture that looked like it should be sitting on the curb waiting for the trash truck. The room was filthy. So much so that we left almost immediately and checked out. Both me and my wife refused to stay the night there. I have stayed at very inexpensive, budget type rooms and some I thought were in rough areas to save a buck but never have I felt like the room itself was disgusting. This was awful.

This property needs to be shut down. I will be calling the health department on this hotel. The rooms were FILTHY. I believe this hotel houses the homeless. There were drug addicts hanging out in front of the rooms and in the parking lot. There were bullet holes in the windows and the curtains. The paint was falling off the walls and the bathrooms had stand in showers that were filled with FILTY AND MOLD. Everything in the room was falling about. Me and my CHILD ran out of that room.

100% the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel A LOT. I’ll start by saying the staff was okay. This has nothing to do with them. But the rooms are full of roaches. The rooms are dirty. The beds are wildly uncomfortable. The blankets have holes in them. And worst of all, there is a fire alarm that will consistently glitch throughout your stay. It went off once and I thought I had to evacuate… faulty alarm. It went off 3 more times within the next 5 minutes… fault alarms. Then every 10-30 minutes thereafter for the next 3-4 hours, it’d do the same thing. All faulty alarms. Very loud and very annoying. I understand this motel will probably be the cheapest one you see if you’re filtering by price looking for somewhere to stay. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. GET THE MOTEL THAT COSTS $10 MORE. I was there less than 24 hours and the best moment I had there was at 11am the next morning when I had to turn my room key in.

The bed was nice and clean. The rest of the room was not. Floor, bathroom, and walls were all dirty. Looks like ketchup was splattered on the floor and side of the fridge. Candy and trash on the floor by the door. Was not comfortable taking my shoes off. Ended up staying in the room for like 30 minutes before finding somewhere else to stay.

The room was no where up to par like the pictures showed. Room was dirty, down to the walls and floor. And, the air conditioning was broke so it made the room extra cold without any choice of just having to turn it off.

realize this was a special events weekend, however the stay we had was unacceptable in many ways. I have attached a photo of what was under one of the beds when we got ready to go to bed at 10 pm. First: we arrived at three only to find our room was not ready and the front desk clerk complained that the housekeepers were supposed to clean all of the doubles first, could I give her thirty minutes. No problem...she will call me to let me know when it's ready.. no phone call. I came back in to the office...sure it's ready now. Room 335. Bring our things up to room. Housekeeper says she's not finished. #2.. give her thirty more minutes. Sure no problem, we will get something to eat. 3. Get to our room after five and the floor is soaking wet. 4. Turn on the air conditioner...sounds like a jackhammer as it comes on and turns off. 5. Take off bedspread and look under bed to see what you see. We stuck it out only because there were no other rooms available. we stayed in a filthy room that wasn't ready for two hours with an air conditioner that sounded like a jackhammer all night long. This is a shame!!!

The place is good if your just looking for a nice comfy bed. My room did not have a tv remote the office never got back to me about providing me an another one unfortunely which would have made the stay a little bit better internet did not work at all the entire time during my stay beware if you have to work remote there.

Even though we selected a nonsmoking room, our room smelled of cigarette smoke terribly. We checked in so late that we just stayed. The second night, we asked the front desk if there was any way we could change rooms and they were not very polite. They said they had no rooms for us to move to. Then we asked if we could check out and get a refund since the room was not what we paid for. We were told no.

The night lady at the front desk was extremely nice and knowledgeable!!! Keep Her!!! She’s a huge asset to your business. I liked my room! It had all that I needed and more. I’m going tell you what I tell all hotels; you need a laminated card with the TV’s channel line up AND the company you have service with. That way your customers can look up the TV programming on their phones. Thank you for the excellent stay!! -jody

The front staff were very nice and let me cancel my stay. The rooms were not clean. There was unknown stains on the bedding. The rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. It was not a safe neighborhood for a woman alone. All in all I would not suggest the place. However the staff was very nice when I asked for a refund. Perhaps if you are on a budget and are not a woman traveling alone, then one could stay here. Again, the staff were very nice.

I made 2 reservations and one party checked in at 8 PM we tried checking in at 10:30 PM and were told that there were no rooms available, after I made the reservation more than 3 weeks ago. The receptionist was unprofessional and said that I did not make the reservation with them; they were full and did not have a room to assign to me. She did not offer any other solution to the problem other than we had no rooms available and that they had been overbooked all day. Other customers were turned away with the same excuse of no rooms available. I had to drive another 20-plus minutes to get to another hotel with a room available. I am disappointed with the reservation process. The other party that checked in told me that the place was not clean, it was old and dated with poor lighting.

I liked that it was convenient because it’s kind of close to downtown. There’s also a washer and dryer which is what I was looking when I found this hotel online and I liked that there was enough parking.

My wife and I did not stay at the Hotel there were to many people wandering the grounds and the Manager was Rude and Irresponsible and our Keys that were given to us did not open our Room that were give to us twice so we decided it was unsafe and went to stay Next door at Clarion Hotel for 128.00 a night which was a little expensive for one night.

I couldn’t enter my room because a man was hanging around my door. When I asked him to give me some space, he got upset. A woman should never attempt to enter her room when a strangers refuses to give her space. The front desk at the motel, did not agree with me and told me to contact Expedia. I contacted Expedia and Expedia said I have to contact the front desk at the motel. I explained the front desk told me to contact you. I contacted the dispute department for Red Roof. The dispute department contacted the front desk at the motel. While I was on the phone with the dispute department, the front desk employee approached me and was very upset about all the calls she is receiving from Expedia and the dispute department. They heard her get verbally aggressive with me and threaten me. She told me I needed to leave the property in 30 minutes and she was calling the police. I told her, I think calling the police is a good idea. She never called the police and I ended up calling the police because I was afraid of what she was going to do to me. If I’m carrying my luggage, I’m very vulnerable of being attacked. She called me on my phone and was furious I called the police. The police typically don’t escort people, but they agreed to dispatch the call. I had to pack up and leave immediately. In addition, I couldn’t use the stairs because there was a homeless person sleeping on them.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel room with a kitchen, this is it. The rooms are dingy and look very old and dated. The property is not in the best shape. There are vagrants hanging around the hotel. I know it's Austin and that's what the city has turned into, but it's not really what you want to see around the hotel, especially if you have kids.

We did NOT expect the experience we ended up having. We checked-in during the day around 4:22pm, and everything seemed normal. We get to our room, which was supposed to be non-smoking, and it reeked of cigarettes and there were burn marks in areas of the room-like the table. When we get up to our room, it was still being cleaned. We go in, notice the smell, but decide not to make a big deal out of it because we aren’t ones to complain, especially since we were only staying to get ready then go downtown for majority of the day/night. I go to the restroom to do my business and there are no rolls of toilet paper. My partner goes downstairs to the front desk since the phone in the room was missing buttons. She comes back up to let me know that apparently there were no toiletries on the property and that the staff were meaning to send someone to go buy some. Luckily one of the cleaners had stashed a roll to put in the office’s restroom and gave it to us. We leave to go have dinner and meet up with friends and when we came back later that night we were NOT expecting what we came back to. During the day the area didn’t seem so sketchy, and it was not too far from the Lakeline mall. But at night, we legitimately feared for our safety. I will be warning people to stay FAR away!

The neighborhood seemed unsafe. The property was unkpet. The stuff were not friendly. The room had other people’s drinks. The covers ans courtains had holes. There were a lot of guests with big dogs. The elevator was so dirty. The room had a lot of property famage on the walls. I wouldnt stay again nor recommend someone else. I also read a written complain which was visible at the reception about room 351 wanting a refund due to roaches and mold.

I liked the price. I didn't like only one towel for two people to use. No cups or other amenities for the kitchenette, no soap, no coffee in the office. I could live with all that, but the most disgusting thing was the spots on the floor of dried urine where previous tenants had trouble hitting the toilet and it hadn't been cleaned. We won't be back.

They ran my card BEFORE I arrived. That was not supposed to happen. That card had been lost and was replaced. I would be bringing it at check in. They cancelled my reservation. Huge town wide festival. No rooms available. I had to get a hotel one hour from the festival. I had booked this reservation months in advance. Very very very poor business practices. Also, was told that if I wanted coffee, I would have to bring my own coffee maker and coffee. This place is crap!

We were put on the 3rd floor with no working elevator. Our key cards went out twice. The shower was leaking we had to tight it and when you use the hot water in the shower it sounds like a car motor running vibrating the walls. The stair way stinks and there is not enough lighting or any cameras. The air was not on when we arrived and it never really got cold in the room
