Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Former LaQuinta now Baymont. Transient and drug dealers all around. Car was broken into. Owner and staff barely speak English and had no answers to anything. Didn’t have breakfast, WiFi didn’t work. Stairs and sidewalks have so much gunk and gum on them can’t walk. Embarrassing for the Wyndham chain. Should be closed down.

The maintenance of the property was terrible.

No waste basket, door was broken with a gap. Not happy with overall cleanliness’s of the place. Pool not available

Website says hot breakfast. They offer toast or cereal along with a few fruits for breakfast. AC not in good working order. Floor warped and nasty. Pool closed before dark. Person at the desk barely spoke English and barely got off of his own personal call to answer my questions. I’ve machine on my floor was not working, so I had to go downstairs to use theirs.

Had a issue with the remote control and toilet. Used the txt msg that was sent to my phone to communicate the issues with the room. Staff never responded. Went to the desk to get a missing remote and was given a broken remote. Said that the maintenance person would bring another one. Maintenance never came. Trash was already in the trash can we we got in the room. Parking was a nitemare. Breakfast wasn't anything more than cereal and toast

Check in was a bit of a mess. Agent was short and rude. Had to call maintenance about plumbing. No hot breakfast was available all 5 mornings we were there. Coffee was not great in lobby but also often ran out and agent did not attempt to brew more. Housekeeping did not come for 3 out of the 4 days we stayed. Asked for more towels on day 3 and got them along with attitude and excuses. Parking is very limited. Advised to use handicapped spaces “for convenience.” No shade/umbrellas in pool area at all.

Overall, the motel was pretty good. The breakfast was lackluster and the motel does not have amenities such as a gym or restaurant, but the room was clean, the refrigerator and microwave in the room worked, etc. The only real problem was the lack of hot water.

Plenty of spaces to park in. There was a space available in front of my room.

A huge part of why we booked this hotel was the pool, which was well advertised…but not open until May. In addition our floors were sticky, the sheets were stained and the corners of the room were caked with grime. Would not reccomend!

In the room I stayed in, there appeared to be mold in the bathroom. The counter top didn't look thoroughly cleaned. The front door warped because it isn't able to close all the way without the additional lock.

Very dirty, no shower curtain, old outdated, vomit in sink, human feces on the doors, disgusting property!!!

Poor flooring and upkeep. Found roaches in the bedroom. Few of those.

Paying $125 for a dirty, smelly room with soiled linens and paint peeling off doors is not acceptable. It's just not the quality the brand is known for.

Never stay at this location. It was horrible in every aspect. I swear the floor has not been mopped in months. I asked them to mop it but they never did. I requested a toilet paper holder and extra towels and never received either. Keep in mind I went to front desk 4 times trying to obtain these items.

The room was awful. Mold on the ceiling, infested with roaches, floor paneling coming up. No one knew the room was in this condition from the front desk to the maintenance man. TV didn't have a power cord. Overall this place deserves 0 stars. I have pictures but it is not letting me upload them. Please do not waste your money on this place.

Nothing to like here. Musty smelling place. No coat hangers, no iron. Poor wifi. Place needs a thorough remodel.

Mold in the tub, roaches , smelled like cigarettes, a lot of commotion outside, etc during the middle of the night.

The bathrooms were so dirty, looked like the housekeeping was not done. There was no hot water and the bathroom was stinking.

I booked a room with a fridge and microwave. I checked in and the room doesn’t have a microwave or fridge…BUT DOES HAVE ROACHES and ANTS! Room 242 has roaches and ants. I let the hotel clerks know at the beginning and ending of our stay, and they didn’t give me another room to stay in. BE ADVISED HOTEL STAFF KNOWS ABOUT THE ROACHES AND THEY ARE NOT TAKING STEPS TO GET RID OF THE ROACHES! There are lots of cracks in the ceiling, walls, floors and doors too. People were noisy at night when it should be quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. People smoke cigarettes to close to your room door so you smell it too. There was broken glass on the steps, walk areas and parking lot. Breakfast is continental not hot breakfast and get there early or the coffee and food runs out quick. The utensils are not in plastic and uncovered that’s not sanitary. The microwave in the common area was old and filthy. I won’t stay at this hotel again. Housekeeping was courteous and changed our towels daily. Maintenance fixed our dying battery on the door very quickly!

Bathroom walls were falling apart, wasn’t able to check in till after 3:30. I’m 5’11 and my head was almost hitting the ceiling in the shower. They provided no shampoo. Overall horrible experience

Cable tv did not work even after getting a remote control from the front office . There was no remote control in the room. The door needs insulation since there’s an inch gap between door and framing. This caused a lot of noise to come thru. Pretty loud. The parking lot is trashy. Litter everywhere. The ceiling needs to be repaired. There’s long cracks. The covers for the shower handrail needs to be attached. It’s barely hanging on.

The microwave didn't have a plate in it. The refrigerator didn't cool food. The ac unit made loud noises all night long.

They say "you get what you pay for" which is usually true, but there should be a standard for every hotel, even if it was free. The environment inside the room was immediately uninviting with the smell of cigarettes. The blankets had many cigarette burn marks which confirmed what we thought about the smell. Parts of the floorboard felt like we would fall down into the first floor. The shower area is very short, rather the shower floor is too high, so good luck if you're any taller than 6', you'll be kissing the ceiling. The TV we were provided was monitor-sized and had a broken screen, and within 3 hours of communicating that, they did replace it for a nicer, bigger TV, but I'm afraid they'll give the smaller broken one to the next "sucker" who books another room. Breakfast was an issue 2/4 mornings; their breakfast hours are 6-9 AM, and two times—both around 8:20 AM—they had already ran out of breakfast. The pool was definitely a nice addition, and the A/C was great at night. The fridge was decent in size and quality. Overall I wouldn't stay here again, but it was the cheapest hotel in Austin.

The location is close to downtown but right off the highway and they didn't spend any money on sound proofing. Also it's a pretty questionable area, lots of arguing late at night and hookers walking around. There isn't any real breakfast, just two kinds of cereal, OJ, and watered down coffee. The room was fairly clean but looked like it was remodeled by someone who didn't know what they were doing, for starting to peel up and not well managed. When we first got to the room we noticed that there was no microwave or mini fridge and no remote. We asked for one and never got it after four days. I would highly recommend you find a different hotel. It's sad to see these little hotels get run into the ground, as I grew up staying at them.

The accommodations did not match the photos provided, not by a long shot. The room itself was rather.. dilapidated. Things like lampshades missing, what looked like blood stains on the shower curtain, the bathroom door couldn’t shut properly, etc. Police cruisers were often in the parking lot, which didn’t make us feel especially safe overall. At check in we were told about the continental breakfast, but the following morning there wasn’t “hot” breakfast at all.

Room was very outdated, Closet doors were coming apart. Not even close to what the pictures shown when booking. I give one star because there’s nothing lower. I would not recomend it. Was very expensive for the type of room given.

It's a decent hotel with a modern interior. The exterior is still a budget look. It's right next to I35 so, you can hear the vehicle noise. The bed is ok for a night or two. It's a budget hotel.

The fridge didn’t have its accommodating racks to place items. Milk, juice, and other liquids would freeze over night. The microwave didn’t have the plate to place food on. There was no door seal under the door so crickets would crawl through and mosquitos would fly in and bite overnight.

The staff is the worst. Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Don’t come here even if you get a room for free

Unsafe. I was given a key to the wrong room and walked in on a couple!! Avoid!!!!

The person at front desk assigned us a room that was already occupied, we are lucky that nothing happened to us

Check in went smoothly and front desk attendant was very helpful. However, when I requested more towels, I was told to wait until later in the morning and ask someone with the housekeeping cart. They were not to be found, so I followed up at the front desk and was told to go to the laundry and request there however laundry was locked and unavailable to me, I eventually got my towels, but they were not helpful to meet my needs. Continental breakfast was a poor attempt and the coffee was so weak that I had to go to the convenience store in the parking lot to have my morning coffee.

They were very disorganized upon check in. They sent us to a room that was still being cleaned. Had to go back to the office and tell them that the cleaning lady put is in another room that was clean and have my room key changed. Then later a member of staff came to the room to verify who we were as they didn't have us in the system. The next day the key was deactivated and we had to go back to office to get it activated. Vending machines were out of water. They didn't have any coffee for the rooms except decaf and when we went for coffee in reception it was out and they were not in any hurry to refill it. Overall the room was clean, but the property was a little scary and the staff very disorganized. They were very friendly though.

I was told I was to receive a refund because of cancellation on their part and they did not honor it. The property was filthy and a lot of drug addicts and prostitutes. The rooms are dirty and horrific. Customer service was horrible. The front desk people were very rude. I would not recommend any human or animal to stay here

(WE GOT FOOD POISONING!) Lots of activity from both Hotel Staff and Guests (Staff power washing doors at 9am & people yelling in the parking lots at 2am). We were very cautious about our valuables in the car because of the amount of houseless people lurking & loitering in the parking lots. Only positive thing I can say is how close it is to the University area. (If you’re hungry, take a little drive to the nearest P.Terrys)

Homeless camp across street. Vacant bldg on same parking lot with graffiti everywhere. Men in parking lot. Single women traveling felt unsafe.

Getting out of the car I was approached by a visibly shaking guy who appeared to be an addict asking if I could give him some money. While I felt bad for him, it made me very uncomfortable. Also this hotel is right off the freeway, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that the constant highway noise kept me up half the night. The other half of the night I was kept up by a couple yelling at each other. I wont be staying here again. I guess you get what you pay for, and this was one of the cheaper hotels in the area, so I didn't expect a 5 star experience, just a good nights sleep. I didn't even get that.

This place has seen better days. Thecroom itself was fine but the property is a dump. The closed down bank next door should have been a clue. Not to mention there were some super sketchy characters "hanging out" in the parking lot. I had to get a different hotel. I would not have felt safe.

It was super loud until 3 am. The outside condition of the property upon arrival looks very rough and rundown! People congregating around the hotel doing sketchy things all night. Won’t stay here again.

That they have NO SECURITY on the property, as to my knowledge. It felt like my car could broken into at any min. Scary....

This property is definitely showing its age and the attempts at a remodel are feeble at best. There is not enough paint in the world to cover up the water damage in the bathroom and the patches on the walls. The sheets were stained. I only hope that they have been washed. The continental breakfast consisted of Raisin Bran and coffee

Our stay here was quite disappointing. We understand that it is a motel, however, that does not mean that the room should be dirty and filled with bugs and broken or missing items. They switched our room because the first one had several broken items (floor annd fridge) and stained sheets. The second one had several roaches and crickets who kept us up during the night. The phone was missing the cord and the coffee machine was missing the compartment to put the coffee in. The continental breakfast on our second day was not put out due to “limited items available” and the hot breakfast was served out a window standing in the heat. Would not recommend.

The breakfast is not fresh. No fruit. At 7:30am, muffins are no more. The only breakfast are white toasts and two cereals.

Breakfast availability and choice was terrible. No Ice in ice machines for 3 days straight. No towels or toiletries service provided for 3straight days. Staff had no cups or ice when I asked at front desk. Loud people and music around much of the night. Would be unsafe for frail, older, or women who don't know boxing or karate, etc. overall poor!!!

We were disappointed by the location, service and felt cheated as breakfast was included but no breakfast The pictures placed online does not indicate the reality of this place, I tried to call to Baymont customer service but was asked to talk to Expedia
