I selected the place somewhat because it had electric car chargers. However, they did not work, even after calling the "emergency" number, that had been disconnected. I told receptionist about it and she said "it is a third party" and sent the vibe that she didn't care.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was pretty typical- scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, English muffins, toast, waffles, etc. The pool was very nice, and we used the gym a couple of times.

I like the property because it is smoke free, it smells nice when you go in the lobby and they also have 3rd party EV chargers for electric vehicle owners, but it’s not free though like most Tesla destination chargers at other hotels are.

The room was clean and the breakfast was nice. It’s a good value for a weekend trip but not sure if I’d spend a week there again. I was looking forward to using the gym but both treadmills were broken the entire week I stayed. Additionally, there was construction in front of the hotel making getting out of the hotel difficult from 4 - 8pm with traffic.

I didn’t experience any of the negativity some people did due to the location. The parking lot was well lit and fenced in. No one was loitering and I felt safe and comfortable. It’s a good low cost night to of sleep. My room was clean but a little musty without the ac on when I checked in.

This was a last minute booking on a small road trip and we hit a great spot. The hotel was extremely clean and well taken care of. The rooms were updated and super clean and comfortable. The price was fantastic as well. The breakfast was a hit with the family we did have to wake up early to make sure we got breakfast as they have limited breakfast hours but it was still great. Great place for a family of 4 just passing through.

Dear Orangewood Inn & Suites Management, My name is Maya Scott, and I stayed at your property from July 25 to July 27. I’m writing to formally request a full refund due to several unacceptable conditions during my stay that made it extremely uncomfortable and distressing. • Both beds had sheets that smelled strongly of urine. I asked the front desk if there were extra blankets so we wouldn’t have to sleep directly on them, and I was told none were available. • In the bathroom, there was a towel that appeared to have both urine and feces on it, which is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. • Three roaches were found inside the room during our stay. Roaches are one of my biggest fears, and their presence made the stay even more uncomfortable and made it hard for me to sleep at all. • Despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being clearly displayed, housekeeping tried to force their way into our room early in the morning without knocking. We had the door blocked for safety, but the staff continued trying to open it, which startled me and my boyfriend while we were sleeping.

First room had a stinky carpet and the AC couldn't be adjusted. I requested to change room. The second room seemed fine at first, until I saw a bedbug crawling on the pillow. There were a bunch of people sitting on the floor near the entrance / exit. Not sure if they're staying at the hotel or not. Asked for a refund, which they approved quickly. The location of the property is definitely not well thought out, there is always heavy traffic when getting out of the parking lot. The rooms were clean but the appliances are old and outdated. At least we found a nice piece of half eaten cake in the microwave as a surprise!

Very clean room, staff were friendly, WiFi just a smidge slow, and was business friendly. The only thing I would complain about were other guests being a tad loud but of course not the Hotels fault. I did have a joining room so that’s on me.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and everything worked properly. Bed was stiff and pillows were flimsy. AC worked great. It was quiet. There was a cleaning product smell throughout the hotel. Did not try the pool or the breakfast. Less than 15 minutes from the airport. When checking out at 5:00 AM for an early flight, I had to stand outside and knock on the door until someone finally opened it for me. For price, location and cleanliness, we recommend.

The pillows, sheets and towels are very poor quality. We booked a room for 4 and had that confirmed at check in yet there were only 3 towels and wash clothes. The heating and cooling unit was not efficient or did not work properly as it took forever to warm the room. Even though the property is listed as smoke free, someone was smoking on the 3rd floor and we could smell it in our room and as we got on the elevator. The reviews posted made this property seem comparable to a Comfort Inn type hotel, but that was not the case at all.

If you need a cheap hotel in Austin then this is it, besides that pretty terrible, rooms are dingy and smell musty, carpet left out feet black after a shower. And the blinds don’t even attempt to block out the lights from the highway which is only 100ft away from the hotel. If budget is your only concern this hotel is acceptable. staff are super friendly though

When we decide to return to Austin we wanted to do a second stay .Well nooooo Front desk Marina was sooooo rude and very unprofessional attending additional guests behind me at the check in with a loud tone across the lobby Literally talking to each other across the room . She continued to be rude My family noticed so we walked out and more likely will not return

Check in was busy and took a bit, but there were several people checking in. The desk clerks were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Hot water and clean towels rounded out a nice room. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Overall, our stay was great and would recommend to others.

The front desk staff was not friendly at check in. The hotel advertises Free breakfast but it’s like from 7-9 AM. The hotel will charge you $8 if you have a guest after 8:00 PM I think. Also there is a charge of $9 if you want to checkout at noon and if you want to check at 1 PM you have to pay for a full day. They will try to get as much from you as possible

The staff was very helpful & friendly. Due to construction on the highway, it was difficult to find the entrance. Late at night they stayed in the phone with us to help. Considering it was a very busy highway we expected road noise but there was none. It was quiet, comfortable & convenient. The free breakfast waffles were excellent.

Marina the check in host was rude in a passive aggressive tone and profiled me . I had to use the restroom and she literally wouldn't give me the code until she found my reservation . She found it and then gave me the code after that she mad it more complicated for me I can with a family we are vacationing and traveling we are tired and this happens horrible service .

This hotel is literally on a one way freeway off ramp. So if you have to leave, you gotta go way out of your way to get back.The freeway noise is awful.all night. The neighborhood is not good especially after dark. The hotel itself is clean but dated. The staff was nice and pretty helpful that is the only reason we did not change hotels. We definitely will not stay here again.

This hotel is literally on a one way freeway off ramp. So if you have to leave, you gotta go way out of your way to get back.The freeway noise is awful.all night. The neighborhood is not good especially after dark. The hotel itself is clean but dated. The staff was nice and pretty helpful that is the only reason we did not change hotels. We definitely will not stay here again.

The room was clean and the breakfast was nice. It’s a good value for a weekend trip but not sure if I’d spend a week there again. I was looking forward to using the gym but both treadmills were broken the entire week I stayed. Additionally, there was construction in front of the hotel making getting out of the hotel difficult from 4 - 8pm with traffic.

Considering this is a budget hotel, value for price was really good. The hotel looked new or renovated, the sevice was friendly, and the breakfast the usual fare. My only minus point was, they only served coffee for breakfast, no tea was available. There was construction around the hotel that caused a traffic jam, so getting there was a bit painful, but not the hotels fault and only temporary.

The area around it was a little dirty but that is out of the hotel’s control… also it’s very hard to get in and out the parking lot due to construction work on the service road. This was a last minute booking on a small road trip and we hit a great spot. The hotel was extremely clean and well taken care of. The rooms were updated and super clean and comfortable. The price was fantastic as well. The breakfast was a hit with the family we did have to wake up early to make sure we got breakfast as they have limited breakfast hours but it was still great. Great place for a family of 4 just passing through.

I would have given this property an excellent, but their breakfast time was limited to 7:00-8:00. It was a decent full breakfast, but I had gotten in late the night before andcould have used the extra hour of sleep, if the meal time had been 7:00-9:00.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was pretty typical- scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, English muffins, toast, waffles, etc. The pool was very nice, and we used the gym a couple of times.

Accommodation was good. Rooms clean. Well serviced. Only area for improvement is breakfast. Breakfast selections were somewhat sparse and cheap. For example, no real orange juice - only juice cocktail. Only the cheapest white bread and bagels.

Room had trash hidden into the drawers. Stains on the sheets/pillowcases. Hair on the walls in the shower. Check in staff was great. They offer breakfast but unable to take it back to your room, you have to eat in the breakfast area.
