Faro di Saugerties e Overlook Mountain Trailhead sono due dei più importanti punti di riferimento della zona. E per chi ama le attività, è d'obbligo una tappa a Cascate di Kaaterskill e Saugerties Town Hall. Levon Helm Studios è un'ottima meta per una serata fuori, e anche Kiwanis Ice Arena è una buona destinazione, se viaggi con dei bambini. Concediti un po' di meritato relax con i tour enologici e il centro benessere presenti nei paraggi, oppure sfida i tuoi limiti con attività come gite a piedi o in bici e caccia.

My eldest sister and I went to visit our sister who lives in Red Hook. This was the PERFECT location on so many levels. The home was clean, well stocked with every amenity we could think of, and plenty of room for the two of us. In addition to the essentials, there were fun additions like board games, binoculars for critter watching, and two beautiful decks to relax on. Nick couldn't have been a better host! Completely communicative, accommodating, and friendly, he made sure we were taken care of on every level. We will be back!

Loved the place! Very nice location in the woods, with no visible neighbors and a barely visible road through the trees. Plenty of space both inside and out on the decks. AC works great with multiple nice mini-splits. Easy to get to the nearby towns. Opus 40 down the road can't be missed, it's incredible.

The house is secluded and peaceful with a huge deck for a cool breeze with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The house was spotless and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Restaurants, grocery, and Katterskill Falls for hiking all within a 15-20 minute drive. Our host, Nick, was very attentive making sure everything was as we expected ( and it was). Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend this property for your vacation getaway.

What has become a regular winter Woodstock retreat turned into something magical with the beauty, warmth and smart comfort of Nick’s home. His friendly affect and many small touches made this one of the best home-bases for me in my decades of solo retreats. Secluded, woodsy with beautiful A-Frame design but 10 minutes to either Woodstock or Saugerties. Great cooking kitchen, treadmill, great sound and entertainment or quiet nooks for writing and reading. Good heat and warm floors. Bathtub. Special place and I will return. Thank you Nick!

Everything you need and would want in a warm beautiful home. Highly recommend. Do not pass this place up. Clean/beautiful/ plenty of lighting a/c comfortable/. The owner texted me immediately when I had to get in touch with him. If I had to give a number 1-10. This place is an 11.

The home was great, exactly as we expected and described in the listing. It had a great kitchen set up with everything we needed to cook and the grill + outdoor deck was wonderful as well! The only issue we had was with a few too many ants all throughout the home. Nick was very responsive and very accommodating though! Great place for easy access to the Catskills/Woodstock!

My family and I had an absolute great time away from the city. The home exceeded our expectations in every way. The woods made it feel like a true retreat, the kids and dogs had a blast.Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided for, the house was cozy and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby trailsNick went above and beyond with clear and timely communication, the house was spotless and we truly felt at home. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests experience.We honestly can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway this place is it!

What an amazing place. Close to Saugerties,Woodstock and Hunter. Clean, well kept house. Communication was fast and helpful. Already booked again to experience it in Winter. Absolutely phenomenal!!

We had an excellent stay at A-Frame of Mind! The property was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and private.Our trip was extra special as we were in town for my daughter’s Marshall & Sterling Finals, and this home made the experience even more memorable. The host was welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly.Would absolutely love to come back again — highly recommend!

The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The host thought of everything. Perfect spot close to towns of Saugerties and Woodstock and about a half hour away from amazing Hudson. Opus 40 is grand and a short walk away.

My daughter and I enjoyed everything about our stay. Nick was great with communication and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean, comfortable, and very peaceful. We will definitely look to stay here again the next time we are in Saugerties.

The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The house was immaculate and well appointed. One caveat I have is after the cleaning fee and tax the price of the stay is double. Another cost which I’ve never encountered was I had to either buy insurance for $99 or put a $5000 deposit down. This is unreasonable in my opinion especially for short stays. I opted for the $5000 deposit then had to pursue its refund as Vrbo didn’t want to return it until the end of the month, about 3 weeks after my stay. I ended up incurring a large finance charge from my credit card. So, all in all, my stay ended up being exorbitantly expensive.

Our stay here was so quiet and peaceful; it felt like we were miles from civilization. Yet it’s nearby to everything with a short drive. Host is super responsive and very thoughtful; a lot of care went into setting up the cabin for the people staying there. Wifi was strong the whole stay. Highly recommend!!!!

We absolutely loved staying in this charming A-frame. When you walk in, it's just like the photos: huge picture windows, high ceilings, spacious deck, and inviting furniture. The home feels thoughtfully decorated and equipped for out-of-town visitors. It's rustic but comfortable, and hard to leave behind when it's time to go! There is room for refinement: the indoor stairs creak, shower heads lack a handheld, water is a little choppy/light. Dishes needed to be rinsed before use. No microwave. But there were also generous surprises, like K-cups, nice toilet paper, hotel toiletries, and plenty of TV/music stations (you can also run your own Apple TV). The upstairs bedroom was a private treetop paradise, with sun dapples and a comfy bed. The house is about halfway between Woodstock and Saugerties. The nice owner Nick responded immediately to messages. Coffee on the deck with crisp mountain air, cool little downtown Saugerties, the drop-dead gorgeous drive to the Mt Tremper area (sigh) ... I miss it already.

House was in a prime location about a ten minute drive to the downtown and other local attractions. We were looking for a “in the woods” feel and this was a great mix of convenience and seclusion. The back deck is really nice. If traveling with small children who are used to sleeping in dark rooms, I do suggest bringing travel black out shades for the large windows in both bedrooms. We found the downstairs bedroom to be easier for our kids.

We spent an idyllic 3 days at A-Frame of Mind. The house is very comfortable, and flooded with light. It is located on a quiet road and surrounded by trees. We loved walking down the road to Opus 40 and being within a close drive to Kingston and the Sojourner Truth State Park.

Nick was extremely helpful, easy to get a hold of, and made check in a breeze. Cozy, quiet, relaxing house with great views. The location was also very convenient for exploring Woodstock (less than 10 min drive) and the surrounding area.

I can't wait to come back, they. I loved it, It is super quiet, very stylish, huge windows to look at the trees. birds outside, very very good restaurants in a 10 minute drive. Great!

Nick was stellar in his communications. He was so quick to respond, always so helpful and considerate. The property worked very well for my needs though it was a quick two night stay with rainy weather so I did't get to enjoy the outside space. There are many creature comforts that Nick provides to make for a lovely stay. Thank you, Nick!

What an amazing place. Close to Saugerties,Woodstock and Hunter. Clean, well kept house. Communication was fast and helpful. Already booked again to experience it in Winter. Absolutely phenomenal!!

We had an excellent stay at A-Frame of Mind! The property was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and private.Our trip was extra special as we were in town for my daughter’s Marshall & Sterling Finals, and this home made the experience even more memorable. The host was welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly.Would absolutely love to come back again — highly recommend!

Nick was extremely helpful, easy to get a hold of, and made check in a breeze. Cozy, quiet, relaxing house with great views. The location was also very convenient for exploring Woodstock (less than 10 min drive) and the surrounding area.

Cute, comfortable place to be home base for anyone to explore this Catskills. Easy to get into Woodstock and other small towns. We were glad to sit and read on the deck when we had a break from wedding activities. Thanks to Nick for getting umbrellas when we say the forecast - carrying umbrellas meant the rain held off at the most important parts of the weekend.

Beautiful, relaxing stay at this home in Saugerties. We loved the private location yet very close to Woodstock and Saugerties. Nick’s communication was fantastic, responding quickly to our questions. Safe, easy, flexible check in and check out. Inside was mix of rustic cabin and modern appliances, super clean. 100% recommend to anyone.

I wish I was still there as I write these accolades for both the house and for Nick! The pictures do not do justice. The house captured the rustic feel that I wanted with the comfort of modern amenities. It was perfect. The grounds were expansive enough to provide privacy- and safety. The location was perfect- 15 minutes away from Woodstock, which allowed the feel of your own private hideaway and the convenience of being close to the center (and other attractions, as well). Nick was a gracious host- both before our arrival and during our stay. He was always accessible, and essential. During a storm there was a widespread power outage. Nick contacted us and remained in constant contact with the electric company to provide us with updates. (It did not last long and provided an unneeded excuse to stay inside the cozy cabin with the rain outside.) Nick most definitely contributed to the reason we are already talking about coming back in the Fall!

My daughter and I enjoyed everything about our stay. Nick was great with communication and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean, comfortable, and very peaceful. We will definitely look to stay here again the next time we are in Saugerties.

House was in a prime location about a ten minute drive to the downtown and other local attractions. We were looking for a “in the woods” feel and this was a great mix of convenience and seclusion. The back deck is really nice. If traveling with small children who are used to sleeping in dark rooms, I do suggest bringing travel black out shades for the large windows in both bedrooms. We found the downstairs bedroom to be easier for our kids.

We spent an idyllic 3 days at A-Frame of Mind. The house is very comfortable, and flooded with light. It is located on a quiet road and surrounded by trees. We loved walking down the road to Opus 40 and being within a close drive to Kingston and the Sojourner Truth State Park.

Close to the mountains for skiing, miles and miles of hiking and x-country skiing trails, less than 10 minutes from Levon Helms studio for amazing music and eclectic adventures in Woodstock. Owner was spot on and friendly with communication, home was clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

Loved the place! Very nice location in the woods, with no visible neighbors and a barely visible road through the trees. Plenty of space both inside and out on the decks. AC works great with multiple nice mini-splits. Easy to get to the nearby towns. Opus 40 down the road can't be missed, it's incredible.

This place is Beautiful and very comfortable. They have all the amenities you could need. A few minutes from town, groceries and more. Private and quiet area. 20 minutes from Hunter Mountain. I would recommend to everyone.

The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The host thought of everything. Perfect spot close to towns of Saugerties and Woodstock and about a half hour away from amazing Hudson. Opus 40 is grand and a short walk away.

Lovely A frame home! We stayed here while my daughter competed at HITS and its location is ideal distance to the venue but also secluded enough to destress after a long day. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Love the big windows and plenty of grass for our dog to get her zoomies out!

Absolutely fantastic cabin. Nice and quiet. It’s neatly tucked away from enough people to make you feel like it is a mountain retreat, but close enough to where you can still have food delivered. The sunsets are breathtaking, and sunrise is such a joy in the upstairs bedroom. As a carpenter, I fully appreciated the beauty of the natural wood of this A-frame. As an audiophile, the sound system was a pleasant surprise. The wood cabinet speakers paired with the surround sound speakers, give you an amazing experience in that space due to the beautiful high ceilings. Very clean and super comfortable. There is great view from nearly every window. I love this place, and could keep going on and on about what’s to love. It was literally, in all honesty, the best vacation I’ve taken. The atmosphere is wonderful. The cabin is perfect; from the decor to the comfy bed. The host IS EXCEPTIONALLY excellent. Friendly and a great communicator. This was my first Vrbo rental and Nick made it is a breeze.
