All suites are not suites. Long story short, I stayed her last September while traveling alone and had an excellent time. So much so that when I needed to come back to the area with my family for a funeral, I wanted to stay here even though there were many hotels closer. I reserved 3 rooms, 2 of which were what I expected, the other did not. I was different than the other 2. No "living" area, no sofa, no 2nd tv. It was not a "suite". When I told the front desk clerk, I was told it was the same, and showed a chart showing rooms, 113 & 115 had the same room code. I assured her they weren't the same, and I wanted what I had reserved. I was told because I reserved through hotels.com, nothing could been done about pricing. I told her price wasn't the issue, I wanted the room I had reserved. After being told twice more "there's nothing she could do about pricing", I asked to speak to a manger. She pulls out her phone and begins texting. After several minutes, I asked for an update. She replied the general manager David Humpke said that nothing could be done. I asked to speak with him myself and was denied. I later spoke another clerk who said she knew of the incident as she was on the group chat. I don't know if Mr. Humpke was actually on the chat. Paying the difference for another room would have satisfied me but that wasn't offered. Basically, I was told that my patronage wasn't appreciated. Messaged received.
