Hotel was very nice, clean, and decent breakfast. Great shower. They allow pets for a reasonable fee ($25) which was great for us traveling back and forth from Michigan to Florida. Will stay again.

The stay was ok except for we needed to use the in room vault that we could not use. When we arrived, the vault was locked. The manager was supposed to come and reset it. It took so long we left. By the time we returned to our room, the vault was opened, but it was opened and put in the locked position so we still couldn’t use the vault. And it took so long to get assistance. The first time we didn’t dare ask again.

First off, we have come to trust Holiday Inn Express hotels for their consistency of quality and amenities. Always someone at the front desk who is efficient with check in and helpful. Always a fairly fresh room - in terms of modernity - many very recently remodeled or updated - never foul old carpet or bad smells. Always a pool many times a hot tub. Always a breakfast that satisfies many diet types. This property was the only one that I've stayed at in the last 2 years that did not have a hot tub. A little bummed. The room had some kind of sticky stuff on the tile part of the floor and that made us not really trust the cleanliness of the carpet. The AC unit was as loud as a freight train and the room temp overnight did not stay constant, it went from too warm to too cold like a yo yo. Did not sleep well. And that is basically what you're there to do when staying at a place like this on a long road trip. We also wanted a King bed, but we got 2 queens. Not the end of the world.

The toilet paper roll was not changed from the stay prior. It had about a 3rd of a roll yet. I’ve used public restrooms so it’s not a huge deal but just kinda seems like they didn’t clean well if they do that. Also sliding shower door wouldn’t stay closed. Good enough. Not great tho

The room was clean and comfortable but a bit damp and musty. At breakfast the attendant brought our biscuits piled up with the serving tongs buried underneath so once I realized I would have to dump all the piled up biscuits over I just picked up the top biscuit with my fingers. The attendant literally screamed at me and said now she is going to have to throw the whole thing of biscuits away. She went to the back for approx 5 minutes and came back with what I am sure was the same biscuits. She seemed miserable and probably should not be serving people.

Room was OK. Upon check in we were informed that there would be ladybugs in our room but dont worry they dont bite. There were a couple dozen lady bugs in our room. Tried to avoid it but would up bringing one home. It bit me. I know it wasnt local because it is cold were I live.

There was a sign on the computer monitor in the lobby that there was a bug infestation in the rooms. Manager on duty would come up and vacuum them if needed. When we went to our room we should have run for the door. There were about 30 bugs crawling on the ceiling. Manager did come up and vacuum them, but when he left more began to appear. It would have been better for them to shut down, then operate in these conditions.

Full of lady bugs inside the room. Hot water was sparse. Pressure to the second floor was extremely weak. Shower was slow but bathroom sink was a trickle. Room 229. I took a picture by the window sill. Loaded with dead bugs. Obviously with the shade down it went unnoticed by housekeepers

We stayed during an ice storm… many things were shut down & not available around us but the staff who were there worked extra hard to keep everyone informed & went out of their way to make sure we were all safe! Thank God for them!

The man at the front desk was very nice, the room clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. And the hot breakfast was great. Definitely would stay here again.

This was a quick stay. In late in the evening and out early the next day. Check in was quick and the clerk was very nice. Room was clean and spacious, bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. The fruit was abysmal but I'm guessing not too many people eat the fruit but me.

Great breakfast included bacon and great cinnamon rolls. Convenient location. No highway noise. A bit saggy mattress. A/C was very noisy. Has been remodeled but needs a little TLC like grout cleaning on bath floors, edging on A/C unit, paint trimming need touchups.

The humidity in the hotel was insane. We couldn’t sleep as the sheets were damp, the toilet paper was wet and it was just a miserable stay. The manager said they were aware of the issue but it seems ownership doesn’t care as they have placed humidifiers in the hallways which did absolutely nothing. The manager did the best she could as she gave us a refund but until this issue is fixed we will not be staying here again and we have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express several times.
