Nice place but pool and hot tub closed...

The amenities were kid friendly nice pool, hot tub and arcade. Only thing I had an issue with my TV would play sound but only display a loading symbol no shows.

TV in room wasn't working. Hot tub was not working.

The pool makes the hotel extremely humid and the chlorine smell is overpowering. Need to install large exhaust fans to push the pool humid and chlorine odors out.

This is a very nice hotel. It was quiet and you didn’t hear anything from the hall. Pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast at the restaurant is always good. Only issue is that they don’t have an elevator and I heard a few people complaining about that. It would have been nice but walking the steps didn’t hurt either.

Older property. Too many kids in pool. Very strong smell of chlorine in hallways.

Overall clean and in good repair. Be aware, there is NO elevator… didn’t expect to drag our suitcases to the second floor! Internet was not high speed, unless you live in 2001…

Rooms were good. Nothing wrong there. The card readers for outside doors and rooms were very outdated and were so touchy reading cards. There were never any towels in the pool area and the hot tub didn’t work also wasn’t serviced. Temp was 86° and the swimming pool was 82°. Best part about the hotel was the connected restaurant. Great staff and amazing food! There was a massive pothole in the entrance driveway that you need to watch out for when entering or exiting onto the main road.

Property has had some updates. Rooms were clean but could definitely use some upgrades to the pool area. And the hot tub bubbles were not working. But over i would give it a 7 out of 10

Our room lacked cleanliness. We had no trash bags in our garbage cans. No towels. There was leftover takeout food still in the fridge. The table had sticky syrup still on it. Our bathroom light flickered. The ice machine on the second floor was inoperable and the laundry room dryer was not in working order either.

The room itself was clean but the carpets turned my white socks black. On the plus side it was quiet easy to find and the breakfast was decent.

The place was not very clean - so much so that I took pictures because I was so surprised. Other than that- good stay.

We’ve stayed here several times and have never had a problem. Was pleasantly surprised that housekeeping came in and freshened up the room after our first night. My only complaint this time was the hot tub was luke warm bath water and there was a forgotten dirty towel under our bathroom sink when we checked in.

Was is the corner suite, very nice large room with 2 TVs, couch, and wet bar. The bed was super plush and comfortable. Huge bathroom with standup shower and large soaking tub with jets. Unfortunately both shower and tub were dirty that we didn’t use them. Visible black soap grime. Fortunately the rest of the room seemed clean. Only other complaint is that the tv was not close enough to pick up the hotels internet, I had to use my own WiFi to watch.

I had three issues with the room. 1:00 when I turned the whirlpool on in the tub, a brown substance spread out across the water and lined the sides of the tub. I didn't know if it was normal or something from a previous bather. Really grossed me out. 2. There was someone pounding in the room above me until about 9:30 at night. Then it started again at 8:00 am. I assumed it was some kind of construction project and my room shouldn't have been rented out to me. I should have said something at the time. When I checked out I mentioned it and the clerk said there was no construction going on. I told her to go into my room and listen after I leave. Made no offer to compensate me. 3. In the morning, I couldn't get the bathroom light switch to work. I did it a number of times and finally did come on.

Room was clean and spotless

The property is large hotel with pool area. There is a Lumberyard Restaurant in the hotel which supplies the continental breakfast. We stayed 3 nights and they had the exact same french toast sticks, dried out scrambled eggs, sausage and potato wedges each day. The food at the Lumberyard itself was good. The Walleye fish fry was excellent. The hotel is older and shows a lot of wear, the halls still stink of stale cigarette smoke from decades ago. The room did not stink. The room is worn with patched holes where the hotel art was removed. There are plenty of outlets and usb outlets near the bed and by the desk. The a/c worked wonderfully especially with the 95 degree weather the entire time. The pool area is painted cleanly but the concrete pool surround is chipping up. The arcade area has cheap games but they are also probably from the 1990's. They have two pool tables in the pool area and a decent sized pool and hot tub. The pool area was sweltering. There is no air movement. They need a vent to pull the heat out through the ceiling. The staff at the hotel were beyond wonderful. Whitney the manager worked her butt off doing everything from front desk to cleaning rooms. The other housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a place to strictly sleep, this one will do. After checking in I went to the room and the light switch by the door didn’t work. I turned the flashlight on my phone on and found the lamp switch. There are also limited outlets to plug your stuff in. The room is clean enough, but there was mold in and around the shower. We decided to try out the pool and hot tub. Once in the pool area, you can see the green algae growing along the side of the pool. The hot tub looked better until you stepped in and slipped on the slimy bottom. Breakfast is underwhelming at best. Starbucks is right next door though!

Staff was amazing and friendly! Room service was great. Thebeds weren't comfortable as they were old spring mattresses. The flooring needed shampooing badley as there was old food and staims in the carpet. Would not let my kids go barefoot in the room. Overall it was a great place to stay, had a restaurant/bar downstairs that had good food!

The TV remote was too complicated. I couldn’t find how to get the regular stations

Quite noisy upstairs! Finally quiet around midnight. Room smelled like someone had been smoking in it!

Our experience was amazing! Clean room and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Staff is very friendly and was helpful with anything we asked, the hotel is on the older side but very clean and we felt at home.

Staff are friendly and it is convenient and reasonably priced. Room is clean, but things are older and dated. It’s fine for a one or two night stay.

A little noisy (walls seem a bit thin) but not too bad.

Room too warm despite lowering furnistat, parking lot had an area where you drove off blacktop on to gravel.

As stated in other reviews, the property is old. If you’re looking for charm, you will be disappointed. However, if you’re looking for a quiet room, in a central location, with a great attached restaurant and great staff, you will definitely be satisfied.

The room is spacious.

Check in was good. Front desk was friendly and helpful. When checking out the front desk wasn\'t friendly, couldn\'t acknowledge me. No hello, no "how was everything " nothing from her!!

Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. At check-in the front desk girl was rude and grabbed my credit card out of my hand as if it belonged to her. Check out was better customer service, different person, and she was friendly!!

The front desk staff bent over backwards for us when we really needed it.

One after another, the stays are usually last minute but the staff is nothing more than accommodating! Always friendly and polite they will greet you upon your arrival and departure! Thank you and see you next time!

They were so helpful moving me to the first floor when I couldn’t climb the stairs.

This is the third time I have stayed at this property and the first time I have been disappointed. Upon arrival, at check-in I was told my room was on the second floor. I didn't really think that would be an issue, however there was no elevator and I have a broken foot. I asked to switch to a first floor room(I said I didn't care if it was a different or lessor room). The person at the desk said no way because I booked online. I guess I should have pressed harder and maybe asked for a manager, especially after she just stared at me struggling to carry my large suitcase up the stairs. I may rethink where I stay next time I'm in town.

There was a wine dried to the dresser, wine stain on the sheets on corner by dresser. We were told that Woodfield could not assist us with the issue because the manager was not on duty. Also when we called them the next day they could not do anything for us because we went through Hotels.com.

Our stay at Woodfield Inn & Suites was completely ruined by unbearable noise levels throughout the first night we stayed there. Our 3 year old granddaughter cried and cried because it was too loud to sleep even. They assured us that the next night wouldn’t be loud, so we stayed (partly because we was too exhausted to load everything up). Saturday night the pool area was completely full, elbows to elbows, and extremely loud with I assume a couple different birthday party’s, it was intolerable, so we went back to the room. We did attempt to go to the game area with our granddaughter and the games are not up to par, they took several dollars of our quarters, with no play time, it was an epic fail as well. We had several conversations with the hotel and with Expedia and the manager refused to give us any compensation for the first night for the rooms. Even though it completely ruined our entire trip. Our family that we was in town visiting went skiing Saturday, our entire family that was staying at the hotel, was so exhausted from not sleeping the night before, we couldn’t even go with our family skiing, we stayed in the room to try and sleep all day Saturday, playing catch up from exhaustion. As I said, our trip was ruined and they had no compassion for the situation. If you value peace and quiet, avoid this hotel at all costs! The customer service was the worst! They claimed that the booking was non-refundable for both rooms. I was not trying to get a full refund for both night

We have kids who live in Marshfield so we like to stay here as a base. We love the location and the service. Aubrey was great! She went above & beyond!

The room was clean which is the most important thing to me. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly.

Have stayed here several times. A lot of the hotel is dates, the hallway carpet could be cleaner, at least vacuumed. Rooms clean and in better condition than common areas. Will stay there again as price is right and it’s quiet. Right next door is Starbucks.

It was clean and quiet and conveniently located near the Clinic. There was easy parking near the door. I will coonsider staying here again.

Good location

I was very pleased with the room quality for the price. Bathroom had a spacious shower with a hand held shower head. That's a perk I don't usually find at this price point. The bed was comfortable. Restaurant was convenient with a nice variety of menu options. My only complaint is that there was no elevator. The combination of no elevator and my arthritic knee made getting my suitcase to my room a challenge. This hospital was very conveniently located near grocery, convenience store and hospital.

Fabulous place. Closest to the large hospital. A welcome respite from hospital visits. Good food at the restaurant and a nice pub.

Woodfield Inn & Suites was a good location to Marshfield Hospital. Was also within walking distance. I would stay here again, even though I didn’t get to take advantage of the “ medical “ discount because I booked online. I was told I should have called. I did not know this prior.

This is a good hotel for the price and my “go to” hotel when staying in Marshfield. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, and they’ve done some recent refreshes. However the pool area is a little “tired”, and the continental breakfast just isn’t great. They’re connected to a restaurant, which provides the breakfast, but it has never improved in all my time staying here. It would be nice if the lobby had a little coffee/tea/water station for those of us who are up earlier than breakfast.

Convenient location and check in was fast and efficient. The place is really outdated, stairway going to second floor was dirty and the smell of the pool was very strong in the building. Our light above the sink would not turn on and walls were very thin. Could hear neighbors and some people arrived at 2am just letting their doors slam closed. At checkout they did not say thank you or ask how the stay was. Continental breakfast was limited in selection and had french toast sticks, eggs, sausage, potato and cereals. No fruit, toast, muffins, yogurt, etc.

The restaurant was attached to the hotel. Had a full bar in the restaurant. Has a nice pool although we didn't use it. Room was comfortable. Shower pressure was weak. Hard to rinse off. There was an issue with the back door not opening with key card. Probably due to the cold weather. Front desk was training a new person so it took longer to check in and out.

Several hot items for breakfast and juice selections. Cold items as well. For lunch and evening the soups change daily. Festive Sports bar with a lot of variety on menu with full bar. Also a large variety of beers.

Hotel is attached to a restaurant that provides complimentary breakfast. The staff were rude. They are open for breakfast but stop serving at 8:30am on the weekends and 9:30am on weekdays. Makes no sense to me but I was 2 minutes late and couldn’t get breakfast because of a hard 8:30am cut off for a restaurant serving breakfast food until 11am, but I was welcome to purchase breakfast food from them.

I don’t know that there was anything unique about the property. However, the restaurant was rated number one in Marshfield and we found it not so number one. Really long wait times at 9 o’clock at night to get your food an hour and a half.
