Extended Stay America Select Suites - Jackson - North

Booked a two bed, got a queen. Non smoking, got a smoking room. Booked extended stay to have a kitchen, we did not get any cookware even when we asked. Fridge was dirty, bathroom full of hair. Insects on the floor. Bed was not comfortable since we were three people sleeping in it.

The staff was amazing. The room was nice. Just note to bring your room pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. Overall, will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend

The lobby staff seemed a bit grumpy about having to check in a guest. I booked on the Hotels app and they charged me an additional $5.35 for using a third party app. That extra charge was not included or revealed in the Hotels app so the Hotels app price was not the true total cost for comparison to other hotels. There seemed to be a lot of permanent or semi-permanent residents here. The room was on the third floor and the outside stairway lights were not working so using the stairs was risky and the elevator was far from my room. The room and bed were clean and comfortable and everything in the room was working properly.

We booked this place since we been eating out and thinking of cooking since they have kitchen. After check in the room is so Dirty, rusty and the kitchen everything is rusty floor is dirty and wall, there is even a roaches in our room. And they dont have kitchen stuff. So when i ask they said they dont have it if i want the receptionist ask me i cna buy pot and pan at dollar store if i wanna cook. Too funny. To be honey nothing good to say its gross and feel unsafe.

Let me share my absolute worst nightmare at this Extended Care Hotel in Jackson, Mississippi. I got locked-out of my room for four hours in freezing weather with absolutely no way to get inside. On 15th November 2024, at 6 am in the morning, I left my room to get something from my car. I returned to my room, and could not get inside. I went to the office which was closed with sign saying "Open only from 10 am to 9pm". There was a number, 980 321 0907 posted outside to call after hours. I called the number and was directed to a mailbox which was full. There was phone box outside the office to call for emergency but there no phone there (photo attached). There were no security, maintenance or housekeeping staff who could let me in. Things were so bad I had to relieve myself in the parking lot because I had absolutely no other option! At 10 am before the office opened a house keeping staff arrived and he let me and two other guests enter our rooms. I picked up my stuff and left the hotel immediately. I have never had a worse experience at a hotel ever. My sincere advice is do not stay in at this hotel. Staying here could endanger you and your loved ones. Thankfully I did not have a baby in the room. The Extended stay head office should take notice of this incident because next time it could end up in a disaster. Thank you.

Doors/walls are not well insulated therefore, other people staying at this location are easily overheard (especially when they would stand outside talking on the phone until midnight each night). When we were there, we were told that all kitchen items were available, however, once we got there, we could not get a coffee maker. So that left us searching for coffee in the area each morning. NOT a great start to our day. The office staff was apologetic, and really nice. It just turned into a daily inconvenience.

Easy assembly to room from parking space.

Don’t waste your $$$ no toilettes as stated on website pix on website SUPER misleading. Room dirty AC was blocked by 2nd bed so room did not get cool you have to RENT pots pans silverware all of it. No breakfast not even coffee and no coffee maker in room. Check in staff was great but that’s it

First off they charge you a second booking fee at the desk after you already have an reservation saying it’s $3 a day on top of the reservation you already made they call it a booking fee . It stinks it’s dirty the front desk is very unprofessional and ghetto .. key cards keep going out 5 in 4 days …. Always waiting on towels it smells old and mildew in there you get what you pay for junk ……: don’t do it runnnnnn

I needed to show my job something and the receipt only had abbreviations but no detail. I paid it, but refused to sign it because it gave no details about the fee. I asked could something be printed or written fir ne, but was told thatbif I had a probkem, have my lawyers call their lawyers. What kind of answer is that fir a simple request??. I will not be staying there again. Also, there was a kitchenette, but no kitchware, dishes or utensils. What good is having a mini top stove, but nothing to cook with or in? AVOID staying here for more than a night if you want to cook and dontvwsntvto pay HIDDRN FEES

The room is not clean properly. Bathroom door is not locked properly. There are insects and spider in the room. The bathroom sink is cracked. Micro woven is dirty. Mentioned all the details but there is no alternate room and no one available to fix those issues. I asked for compensation for the same. Staying with kid a bit scary here.

Smelled like ABSOLUTE bad decisions. Funky isn’t the word.

Staff were helpful. The room was clean. A little hair in the tub.

This place was filthy, from the grounds, lobby and rooms. I was given a key and when i opened rhe door the room was disgusting. It looked to me someone had lived in it for days, weeks maybe without being cleaned. Front desk gave me a key to another room and it was filthy as well. This room also looked like it had been lived in without being cleaned. When i returned to the lobby the person told me they had no more rooms to offer me! While I was trying to book another motel, three other customers arrived to find out there rooms were not avaliable and the reservations they had would not be honored.

Completely infested with roaches cigarette Burns and stains everywhere the stoves did not work and the phones did not work

When I walked in the room there were roaches EVERYWHERE!! I had to get a refund and find another hotel.

The first impression means a lot . From the time I enter this property. I was not greeted as a guess who pre booked a room to stay. I was told by the front desk associate that I’m lucky to get there when I did. Because I got the last double bed room. I asked , what is the point of pre booking a room . If I was not going to have a room. The front desk associate says they don’t hold rooms. I didn’t escalate that issue. I just wanted a descent room to stay the 3 nights I had booked . So the associate asked for drivers license. She began to put in my information for the room . I signed the documents she provided. She only was giving me one key , but I requested 2 keys . she did give me two keys . I went to the room . I was immediately dissatisfied with what I saw. The room was filthy. The carpet was very dirty and smelled . In addition, the refrigerator was dirty, pillow was torn with black spots on it. The floor area in the kitchen was so sticky. I went to the office and told the manager on duty. How bad the room condition. Only thing she could tell me . She would write down my complaints and issues and leave the note for property manager. After 3 days , i would think they would at least have someone come and clean the room . It was very upsetting, because as someone whose career is customer service based . This was very bad act of customer service. In addition, to have play my own house keeping, I came get towels and was told I have to bring used towels.

Absolutely disgusting!!! Room wasn’t clean even halfway.. food stuck on items.. had to even fix furniture before you could even use!! Absolutely do not recommend staying here!!!

It was close the shopping areas. The mattress’s needs a lot of attention. Sink is falling apart.

The lamps did not work. There was a dead spider. The carpet was damped.

The bank is terrible, very noisy at night. It would benefit if they would have security too help with this issue.

I like staying at the property . I commend the front desk workers . Keep the good work up everyone. The mattress I do have a issue they aren’t comfortable. They are hard . What happened to the mattresses that sinks into your body ? Upgrade the microwave and refrigerator. The rust on the fridge is a problem. and old microwaves aren’t getting hot . . they

they were horrible people who talked with a lot of disrespect. i was denied check in for physical copy of id. had someone else try and they still denied. i was also denied a refund and i never even received a room key card

The management (Cory) is wonderful and its a great hotel ots clean the staff is very very friendly,nice. The property is very clean and so are the rooms the price is worth it very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel and give it a hight rating. I enjoy my stay.

There was no one to check us in. We waited for 45 min. Called corporate and they could not get a hold of anyone either.

The property was clean, nice, and quiet. The room smell really good and clean.

Strange location

The property was filthy, noisy and dangerous. Guests were up at 4:00am talking loudly. Guests stood outside in the common areas smoking illegal substances. Some of the employees were quite kind and all were polite to us. However, this property is horrendous. We paid in advance for 9 days, based on the photos and decent prices. However, we left after 3 nights and we are still waiting for a refund.

Stay was pretty good. Listing says coffee in common areas, but not available except at “breakfast”, which is available from 6a-9a except the lobby where it is served is locked until 7am.
