The place was nice and pet friendly. The overflow parking for a trailer was 8 blocks away. However, there is false advertisement on Expedia, saying the pet fee is 20, with a 50 deposit, while the 50 is a non-refundable pet cleaning fee.

For starters, the staff was nice but I wasn't informed of a fee until I went to check in and it wasn't in the description on the app. With card it was $16.67, cash was $116.67. The parking garage is really steep and dangerous. The room was fairly dirty still with smudges on the full length mirror and food splatter on the walls. The ac was so rusted and outdated that the heat didn't work and the room was freezing when we walked in. We opened the patio door in hopes that it would warm the room up but it never did. So we stayed in hoodies and sweat pants. We had acs from floors above dripping water down to our balcony. There was water damage and loose fixtures in the bathroom. This place is definitely a "you get what you pay for" kind of place.

We started in a resort view room, that building has some major plumbing issues and our view was a wall of the parking garage. After 15 hours of no shower I asked if they would just move us. The front desk was very friendly (and so was maintenance) and they moved us to an ocean view. The room was very nice, no frills but fine. The pots and pans in the room are small so I recommend bringing your own if your cooking for more then 2 people. Overall is was a great time, location is great. There’s a line to check in at 4 so I’d wait til 5ish to check in. As long as you plan spending your time on the ocean it’s a great spot. Pools are just so-so. Definitely book ocean view for the better building.

I don't know where to begin. There are so many reviews that will say the same thing I would say. I have no words, this place needs to be burned down. This place is a cr*ck house. I'm embarrassed to even say I tried to stay here. I guess I have travelled all over the world and have taken my chances before, sometimes reviews over-react and I thought this would be a similar case, I wanted to save money.. the occasional review I read some people stated it wasn't so bad. So I risked it. Long story short: woke up at 0400 with burning bed bug bites, packed my stuff and left, could not get money back until am. I booked for 3 nights btw. Slept in my car down the street. I am traumatized from this. I may be sounding dramatic but it really is that bad. Cr*ckheads everywhere. Unsafe. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to me. If you are on the fence whether to risk it and stay here to save money.. take this message straight: do not stay here.

Walking in to one of our 3 rooms, we were greeted with roaches. The room was badly damaged. Floor was lifting, walls were dirty, there was hair on the beds. We decided to leave as we had small kids and our pets with us and didn’t want to risk them. It’s been 9 DAYS and they refuse to answer HOTELS.COM agents for refund. We were willing to even pay the first day as long as we got refunded the rest back so we could stay at another hotel. STILL haven’t recieved $0. We’ve been going year after year for about 6 years with family and this has been the worst experience. It gives motel on the side of highway under a bridge. Not clean, outdated, paint falling off, floors lifting, tub stained….will never return.

Bed was dirty, stained on sheets. I took a picture of the stained sheets. It was a very disturbing feeling to discover that cleaning staff of room #120 should be reprimanded. I will never stay that hotel, again.

I will never stay at this resort again, they have made absolutely zero renovations on this place. Bathrooms are disgusting and needs remodeling, there's mold stains in the tub. The mattresses are to hard, there is no fan in the restroom so you have to bring scented spray. Parking area is bad, there was barely anywhere to park, I had to continue to drive around to wait for someone to leave before I could park.

Cucarachas por donde sea, en las camas en toda la habitación increíble este hotel o motel aún siga operando en esa ciudad tan turística. No recomiendo para nada esto es lo peor hasta el personal que trabaja ahí. Hicimos el reclamo por las cucarachas y salimos regañados. Otra persona en el mismo instante fue a cambiar una almohada por qué estaba sucia y con animalitos dentro y le dijeron que no que hasta el próximo día ahora no había nada que hacer. Lo peor fue que no recibí todo mi dinero. Gracias a eso me tocó pasar una noche en el carro con mi familia por qué no había disponibilidad cerca al área inmediatamente sólo reservas en línea Cockroaches everywhere, in the beds throughout the incredible room this hotel or motel is still operating in that touristy city. I don't recommend it at all, this is the worst, even the staff who work there. We made the claim for the cockroaches and left scolded. Another person at the same moment went to change a pillow because it was dirty and with little animals inside and they told him no that until the next day now there was nothing to do. The worst thing was that I didn't receive all my money. Thanks to that I had to spend a night in the car with my family because there was no availability near the area immediately only online reservations

Floors were dirty the bathroom and room smelled of mold and with me having severe mold allergy this was no go, after being in room for 30 min had full blown allergy attack noone at front desk willing to help told me that wasn't valid enough reason just because I didn't like room I explained allergy they didn't want to hear it. Then I had to sleep in my car and they refused to give me deposit back until I checked out the next morning next day manager was had a nasty attitude and questioned saying I just had those rooms inspected for mold and that wasn't the case.

I was really impressed on how much room we had. The only issue we had was that we were on the 5th floor due to it was a smoking room. We did have a view of the beach and I was really surprised to see they had a parking deck which made it really nice. Plus we also had access to the pool next door.

You get what you pay for. The vending machines don’t work, there’s no breakfast (but that’s expected). The bed was comfy, the AC worked, and we had a working toilet and shower. I can’t really complain. The Internet worked well. My biggest complaint is the noise. We were not people who went to bed early, but the noises were awful. There’s also construction right next to the hotel (obviously not the hotels fault) but that didn’t help either! The parking lot is decent, and there’s direct beach access, which was nice!

We reserved an ocean front room with a balcony. The young lady working the front desk in the lobby was professional and kind. There is an elevator to the upper level rooms. But, there is not an elevator in the parking garage so be aware if you park on an upper floor. The view was the best thing about the room. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. The floor was dirty, visibly dirty with more than just sand from previous guests. There was a hole in the bathroom wall above the shower head. The balcony door was VERY hard to open and close, so we ended up keeping it closed and not going out but the view was why we chose this “resort”. There are a lot of choices for hotels in Myrtle at similar price points. I would choose differently next time.

The balcony door was VERY hard to open and close, so we ended up keeping it closed and not going out but the view was why we chose this “resort”. There are a lot of choices for hotels in Myrtle at similar price points. I would choose differently next time.

Where to start...hotel is much, much older and in desperate need of an upgrade. Rooms were dark and felt dingy. Shower had ample hot water and tons of pressure. Overall, for the low price paid it was an ok place to stay.

Staff was nice. Room 503 has a great view. Sliding glass door didn’t close all the way so our room was constantly moist. The ceiling was peeling off. This room is close to the side where public beach access is so we heard all kinds of screaming and loud music late at night. For the price it could’ve been a little better. I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

I didn’t realize that I booked a non ocean view room, and when I arrived at check in I asked to upgrade to an ocean view room and the lady behind the counter was very nice and upgraded to an ocean view room. Once inside it was not worth it. I had to go buy penetrating oil to oil the sliding door so my wife could use it. Needless to say I still had to help her with opening it because it was so hard to open and close. The baseboard trim around the tub was missing. The freezer worked well but the bottom section did not work at all. You had to shove the door to open it. Definitely not worth the money.

Crowded with no room to stand when we walked in. Was not told that we had to have a $100 security deposit. So everybody had to get everything out of the ATM in the middle of the office. They come walking in your room without permission which I did not like at all. Bugs. Not safe. In the room we were in because if there was a fire, we would would have died in there because there was no escape out. No where to park. I would not recommend this place to nobody!!!

This was booked for a 4pm reservation. Got off the plane and went directly there . Now it’s 5pm . 100 people lined up inside and out side , as they advised this for 99.00 a night ! I was charged 171.00 South Carolina having a heat wave so standing out for a 4 pm reservation unexceptionable !! Not to mention I pre booked ! I want a full refund and I will be notifing my credit card !!

Staff was very friendly and maintenance was on point when we had an issue with our toilet. Maid service was also very attentive!!! Highly recommend staying here. Security is also on point!!!

It was run down, maybe it used to be a nicer place in the 90's but it needs a lot of paint and some deep cleaning! The 2nd floor hallway near the elevator smelled so bad. Check in was a nightmare, we got there early and our room wasnt ready. Went back at the tiem she told me to come back which was 4pm and the whole lobby was packed full of people. We werent able to get into our room until 6pm! The front staff was nice but they nee to get it together. No rooms were ready.

Had plenty of parking and oceanfront had a very nice view. But the room was a bit more outdated then normal especially for the $353 I paid for a single night. You had peeling paint, the tub wasn't cleaned, still had gunk and hair from who knows how long. Worst part is it's like a 30 minute walk to the main boardwalk area. (Ripley/SkyWheel/boardwalk area) Not really a fan. Was new to the area so I impulse booked. But if quiet is your thing this was quiet. Oh the AC was very good. But couldn't find a remote for it.

You get what you pay for. The vending machines don’t work, there’s no breakfast (but that’s expected). The bed was comfy, the AC worked, and we had a working toilet and shower. I can’t really complain. The Internet worked well. My biggest complaint is the noise. We were not people who went to bed early, but the noises were awful. There’s also construction right next to the hotel (obviously not the hotels fault) but that didn’t help either! The parking lot is decent, and there’s direct beach access, which was nice!

It is an older motel but was a decent place to be right on the strip and the price wasn’t bad. I didn’t know it was motorcycle week when I came but still wasn’t bad at all. The bathroom sink did back up on me a couple times. But you’re just a few steps from the beach also. Was nice to be able to have my dogs and a room with no carpet so no problems there. If I needed a room again I wouldn’t mind staying there again. My room had a kitchenette in it and it had everything needed in it to cook.

We were looking for an affordable hotel to allow us funds for attractions/experiences. The location was great, parking was easy, rooms were just what we needed. It had a full size fridge, little oven/stove top, microwave, coffee maker which allowed us save money on eating out! We had one small issue with the tub not draining, but maintenance came quickly to resolve as best as possible. But the staff...THE STAFF WERE AMAZING!! Super friendly, very helpful, just GREAT! I would stay here again.

The hotel is very dated...ice machines were rusty and old and ice was definitely not to be consumed. Vending machines were all out of order. There was no place to lay luggage to u load but could not put clothes in dresser due to flors being unlevel and drawers would not stay closed. Although showers had great hot water we had to use hand towels due to no wash clothes.

I can name a few things nice about this place but I can name 50 bad things. The place is so run down and dirty does not even begin to cover it. Floors have not been mopped in what looks like months, bathtub was so rusty and shower head made such a horrible noise. Ceiling paint is bubbling and room smelled so bad I had to buy a room spray just to get rid of the smell temporarily. I wouldn't stay here again.
