Impressive!! Between the communication & stunning lake house, our family vacation could not of been better! The home is incredible - warm, inviting and so much available for our teenagers and adult children to do in the evenings. Incredible space to relax, play cards, grill and enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend and will be back when we can coordinate all the schedules to work again :) Also, the lake house beside this one is AMAZING too! Still under renovation, but it will be a gem for smaller group. Overall, just can not say enough about how inviting and cozy of accommodations for a lake home - book it and go enjoy yourself!!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family's stay. The kids loved all of the games that were there and the adults loved the poker & pool table. The property is very spacious, clean, and nice. The view of the lake is impeccable! Their were 12 of us in our group and we all really enjoyed ourselves! We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again!

This home and property was more amazing than the pictures! Everything was so clean! The view was magical! The deck is an architectural feat! It was everything we needed! The fire pit area was perfect for everyone to gather around! We all agreed that we will go back there! Thank you all so much for your quick responses as well!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! The cabin truly had a beautiful view of the lake with ample outdoor seating on the two decks for relaxing. The cabin was cozy, clean, well-stocked, and had a lot of space... My boys loved the downstairs game / TV room! Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave were both nearby places we had fun exploring. Host was responsive and helpful… Definitely would recommend this property!

My husband and I stayed here with our daughter, her husband and two teenage children over Thanksgiving weekend. Everything was perfect. The owners reached out with all the pertinent arrival information several days before the reservation date so check-in was a breeze. The home was spotless, smelled great, and was even prettier than the pictures in the listing. The hosts left a binder covering everything from how to use the remote controls to local tourist information. I prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner, and the kitchen had every pot, pan, serving dish and utensil I needed. There was a nice variety of spices as well. We enjoyed gathering in the gameroom to watch football and movies and play pool. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfy. The lake view is lovely. We didn't utilize the outdoor entertaining space because it was too cold outside, but it is set up perfectly. I recommend this home to anyone, and hope to get back there again some day.

House was beautiful and awesome views. There are lots of steps so be prepared. The TVs are somewhat confusing to use. Local restaurants are not top notch so be prepared to eat in or drive 30+ min for decent food. UTVs are not legal on the road however we did not get pulled over. Great sitting areas inside and out. Awesome House and Location as long as you know what to expect.

The house was very nice but dated. The views were great over the lake. Too bad there was not lake accessibility from the house.. There are a few points which did not meet my expectations. I think that when charging such a high rate per night there should be firewood already in the house. We had to go and pick it up and pay. Then the fire started did not have any fluid and we had to use matches. Good thing that i had some because i could not find any in the house. The master bathroom needs to be re- designed. The mirrors over the sink are too high and i had to stand on tip toes to see my full face. The house carpets are a bit old and should be replaced with hard wood flooring. The chairs around the card table were all extremely worn and peeling at the top. Again when charging such a high rate this is unacceptable. The book left by the hosts was very helpful and apprecaited.

We stayed at Mammoth Cave to take our 5 year old daughter to the national park. The cabin was perfect! Even better than the pictures, it’s hard to capture the beauty of the sunset in pictures. We stayed with friends that had a 4 year old. It was perfect for us. It was very comfortable, clean and had plenty for us to do (pool table, board games, card table). Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Unfortunately there was a big storm that came through and the whole area was out of power. The owners were very attentive and were able to move us to another nearby cabin for a night that had power. Communication with the owners was fast and easy. Luckily we were able to come back the last night when power came on. Would highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Our stay was great! This cabin is super comfortable with an amazing view. Sunsets were beautiful. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. All of the bedrooms were spacious and very clean. We loved it here.

Gorgeous property with large decks overlooking Nolin Lake! Spacious rooms and bathrooms and great hangout area in basement! Overall cleanness was lower than expected for luxury advertised accommodations. A little TLC to kitchen cleaning and newer bath towels would make this VRBO an easy 5 star property. Brandon was great to commute with and very friendly when he checked in. The sunsets were breathtaking from the deck or sitting on couch looking out through picture windows.

Incredible house by Nolin Lake and Mammoth Cave! Extremely spacious, comfortable and you can’t beat the views. Alison and Brandon are excellent hosts. This is definitely where you want to stay if you plan to be in the area.

We stayed here while we were in the area touring mammoth caves. 9 adults were very comfortable in this home. Great sunset views and morning coffees on the porches were amazing. We asked for a later checkout and the host was quick to respond. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Mammoth Cave to take our 5 year old daughter to the national park. The cabin was perfect! Even better than the pictures, it’s hard to capture the beauty of the sunset in pictures. We stayed with friends that had a 4 year old. It was perfect for us. It was very comfortable, clean and had plenty for us to do (pool table, board games, card table). Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Unfortunately there was a big storm that came through and the whole area was out of power. The owners were very attentive and were able to move us to another nearby cabin for a night that had power. Communication with the owners was fast and easy. Luckily we were able to come back the last night when power came on. Would highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Great home base for family visit to Kentucky and the caves. Beautiful lake home with nice views and amenities. Hosts provided very helpful information. We highly recommend this place and are thankful for the whole experience.

We had a great stay. Owners were gracious, professional and prompt in helping us out, despite our having special needs. Southern hospitality comes to mind. Hard to beat the peaceful feeling of falling asleep to a wood burning fireplace at the foot of your bed. We will be back!

This home and property was more amazing than the pictures! Everything was so clean! The view was magical! The deck is an architectural feat! It was everything we needed! The fire pit area was perfect for everyone to gather around! We all agreed that we will go back there! Thank you all so much for your quick responses as well!

Incredible house by Nolin Lake and Mammoth Cave! Extremely spacious, comfortable and you can’t beat the views. Alison and Brandon are excellent hosts. This is definitely where you want to stay if you plan to be in the area.

My husband and I stayed here with our daughter, her husband and two teenage children over Thanksgiving weekend. Everything was perfect. The owners reached out with all the pertinent arrival information several days before the reservation date so check-in was a breeze. The home was spotless, smelled great, and was even prettier than the pictures in the listing. The hosts left a binder covering everything from how to use the remote controls to local tourist information. I prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner, and the kitchen had every pot, pan, serving dish and utensil I needed. There was a nice variety of spices as well. We enjoyed gathering in the gameroom to watch football and movies and play pool. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfy. The lake view is lovely. We didn't utilize the outdoor entertaining space because it was too cold outside, but it is set up perfectly. I recommend this home to anyone, and hope to get back there again some day.

We stayed here while we were in the area touring mammoth caves. 9 adults were very comfortable in this home. Great sunset views and morning coffees on the porches were amazing. We asked for a later checkout and the host was quick to respond. We would stay here again.

The house was very nice but dated. The views were great over the lake. Too bad there was not lake accessibility from the house.. There are a few points which did not meet my expectations. I think that when charging such a high rate per night there should be firewood already in the house. We had to go and pick it up and pay. Then the fire started did not have any fluid and we had to use matches. Good thing that i had some because i could not find any in the house. The master bathroom needs to be re- designed. The mirrors over the sink are too high and i had to stand on tip toes to see my full face. The house carpets are a bit old and should be replaced with hard wood flooring. The chairs around the card table were all extremely worn and peeling at the top. Again when charging such a high rate this is unacceptable. The book left by the hosts was very helpful and apprecaited.

One of the best rentals I’ve stayed in. Had it all and then some. Great store just down the road. Boat dock very close as well. The location is hard to beat.

Love this house and the owners! Absolutely beautiful! Goals for my future to retire in a home with a view like this! Note - if you take a boat you have to put in and pull out every time. Currently there are no docks so makes very hard for loading and getting on board the boat.

House was beautiful and awesome views. There are lots of steps so be prepared. The TVs are somewhat confusing to use. Local restaurants are not top notch so be prepared to eat in or drive 30+ min for decent food. UTVs are not legal on the road however we did not get pulled over. Great sitting areas inside and out. Awesome House and Location as long as you know what to expect.

Our stay was great! This cabin is super comfortable with an amazing view. Sunsets were beautiful. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. All of the bedrooms were spacious and very clean. We loved it here.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! The cabin truly had a beautiful view of the lake with ample outdoor seating on the two decks for relaxing. The cabin was cozy, clean, well-stocked, and had a lot of space... My boys loved the downstairs game / TV room! Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave were both nearby places we had fun exploring. Host was responsive and helpful… Definitely would recommend this property!

A beautiful home, fantastic views, great location. So many places to hang out and so much to do. We could even hang out on the porch in the rain, especially the lower porch. As noted, the driveway is steep, especially in the rain, and there are plenty of stairs. We loved staying here and would absolutely recommend it.

We could not have asked for a better home to stay in. It far exceeded our expectations! Very clean and well stocked with anything you may need. Our only minor suggestion would be to have more lighting in the master bathroom. It’s a great place to stay while visiting Mammoth Cave, but you may never want to leave the property. The views of Nolan Lake and the surroundings are breathtaking! We plan on returning in the near future!

This is a great house for a large group lake house weekend! Get your own firewood ahead of time but there are a few Dollar Generals around that have a lot of what you need.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property on Nolin Lake. The hosts were fantastic and the communication was very good from the time when we booked the property. The house is a very quiet with a lot of amenities. We rented this house to be our home base for our extended weekend visit to Mammoth Cave National Park. We loved our time at Mammoth Cave, and we also loved our time just hanging out at the house enjoying the lake views, fire pit, pool table, etc. I cannot recommend this property enough. We are already planning on going back to enjoy Mammoth Cave and this wonderful property.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property on Nolin Lake. The hosts were fantastic and the communication was very good from the time when we booked the property. The house is a very quiet with a lot of amenities. We rented this house to be our home base for our extended weekend visit to Mammoth Cave National Park. We loved our time at Mammoth Cave, and we also loved our time just hanging out at the house enjoying the lake views, fire pit, pool table, etc. I cannot recommend this property enough.
