Super cute home! It provided the perfect location for a getaway for us. We enjoyed the screened in porch and time out on the dock and deck. We traveled with little ones and felt like the house was "kid proof". It may seem small, but the fans in every room, coffee in kitchen and the amount of outlets/plugs was a huge plus! Thanks for having us!

We needed a quick weekend getaway after finding out one of our dogs has cancer and will not be with us much longer. The pics in the listing tell a much different story than what we found in this rental. First, the good...the house was somewhat clean. The surfaces had all been cleaned. The access to the house was simple. There was ample sleeping areas. On to the not so good...the kitchen was tiny and extremely under stocked. There was 1 fork in the house. The pots and pans were disgusting. The screened porch was cute in the pics, but upon arrival the curtains had fallen down, the wiring for electronics was a MAJOR fire hazard as there were surge protectors plugged into surge protectors and the wires all dangled down from the tv and against a curtain. The rules stated quiet hours were from 10-7, but the neighbors to the left started partying around 10 and continued until around 4 a.m. We didn't sleep at all and part of my family left due to the lack of sleep. Beds were also small, old and uncomfortable. Decor was cheap looking and the soap dispensers all had OLD soap that came out as a gooey brown substance. All in all, not impressed at all.

Just as beautiful as the photos & all the feels that the photos elicit… Friends for nearly 50 years could not have had a more lovely appointed experience , from coffee pods, to linens, to kayaks/paddle boards to fire pit to sunrises & sunsets..Was worth our road-trip down from Ohio.. Greatest compliment , we’ve been told, “ we’ll be back” and indeed we will be!

My daughter and I had a wonderful long weekend relaxing and enjoying the outdoors at this lake house! As it is noted, the Wi-Fi isn’t great and cell service is also not good, BUT if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing time on the lake then this is your place!! Neighbors were kind annd generally quiet. There are plenty of outside chairs, two kayaks, fishing poles, water floating things to use and grills. Beds are comfortable, there are plenty of towels and pillows to use. Plates and bowls are provided; they are ceramic so if you have little ones or concerned about this, bring paper or your own plates/bowls. We had a wonderful time and definitely will be back!!

Everything was exceptional. Seamless entry and check in. Clear directions for check out. The home was very clean, the beds comfy and everything in working order. The views from the screened in porch and outside spaces and dock were lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed having our morning coffee outside listening to the birds and ducks. I would highly recommend Lakeside Bliss and we plan on coming again.

This is a great place to relax, and have fun with the family! We loved the lake and the quiet water. Hardly any traffic at all, it was super peaceful! This is a wonderful getaway with family or friends to play games, grill out, kayak, and fish! We will be back!

Another great stay. We also enjoyed being able to check in early. The house is stocked with everything. Nice layout and clean. This was our second time renting and we have already booked for Labor Day weekend. The hosts are friendly and readily available for questions if needed. Neighbors on both sides are nice. We caught several catfish and crappie. My daughter enjoyed the kid kayaks. Highly recommend this property!!

Everything was fine! Not spectacular, no issues! Just a good week! Not a lot to do in Jackson - which is okay, a relaxing week. The house is small - but good enough for our group - and accurate to the description. A little musty smelling - but the house is old. Nothing we were lacking - I would recommend it for others needing a small get away - and good for our group of two teen girls (they had fun in the upstairs area), my parents (in their early 70's - the steps up the stairs would not be good for anyone much older - my mom slept in one room; my dad slept on the couch) and my husband and I (40's). Disappointed to not be able to use the kayaks (they had a weight limit of about 80 pounds - probably would have been fine, but didn't want to chance it) - lots of yard things to do and swim - it was VERY hot all week. All in all, a relaxing week after the Gravel Grinder bike race my husband participated in.

We wanted a quiet getaway where the men could fish. This was perfect! The house was sweet and perfect for our group. We used the fire pit for hotdogs and s’mores, played Cornhole and fished everyday, took walks with the dog. We even drove into town and ate at Jimmy’s steak and seafood which was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Upon arrival we were so impressed with this little gem. The owners thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There was a snack basket, plenty of towels, bedding, and cleaning supplies. The property and lake are beautiful. We enjoyed time on the porch and the dock each day. We even enjoyed watching the fireflies. We would absolutely stay here again.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful with the perfect, relaxing lake view! Super clean and communication with the host was very smooth. We loved relaxing on the lake dock! If we're in the area again, we would definitely come back.

The property was clean, had supplies (towels, water bottles, shower accoutrements, welcome snacks, etc.), and the owners were very friendly. It was easy to check in & out. The WiFi was strong, and they have a Keurig.

Very nice property! It had everything we needed for our family. Beds were comfortable, lake view was amazing, and the AC worked great.

The screened porch was cute in the pics, but upon arrival the curtains had fallen down, the wiring for electronics was a MAJOR fire hazard as there were surge protectors plugged into surge protectors and the wires all dangled down from the tv and against a curtain. The rules stated quiet hours were from 10-7, but the neighbors to the left started partying around 10 and continued until around 4 a.m. We didn't sleep at all and part of my family left due to the lack of sleep. Beds were also small, old and uncomfortable. Decor was cheap looking and the soap dispensers all had OLD soap that came out as a gooey brown substance. All in all, not impressed at all.

My daughter and I had a wonderful long weekend relaxing and enjoying the outdoors at this lake house! As it is noted, the Wi-Fi isn’t great and cell service is also not good, BUT if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing time on the lake then this is your place!! Neighbors were kind annd generally quiet. There are plenty of outside chairs, two kayaks, fishing poles, water floating things to use and grills. Beds are comfortable, there are plenty of towels and pillows to use. Plates and bowls are provided; they are ceramic so if you have little ones or concerned about this, bring paper or your own plates/bowls. We had a wonderful time and definitely will be back!!

We loved the look of the A framed house. The backyard was beautiful and lake view spectacular. The interior decorated like something you see in magazine. The beds all have soft sheets and feels like you slept in a cloud after a long day of exploring GA. We had a great time. The last night we used the fire pit that was already setup for you. We made s’mores and watched boats go by at night. Thank you so much. We will definitely love to come back.

Place was cute but aged from when photos had been taken. Listing says it has wifi and this was one key thing we needed so our son could work when needed while with us but the wifi was not even strong enough for our phones. He had to leave for 2 of the days so he could hook up to wifi. The home owners were very pleasent. Great places to eat nearby. If your looking to unplug and disconect this is a great place, but if you need to be able to do a bit of work then its not ideal.

Everything was fine! Not spectacular, no issues! Just a good week! Not a lot to do in Jackson - which is okay, a relaxing week. The house is small - but good enough for our group - and accurate to the description. A little musty smelling - but the house is old. Nothing we were lacking - I would recommend it for others needing a small get away - and good for our group of two teen girls (they had fun in the upstairs area), my parents (in their early 70's - the steps up the stairs would not be good for anyone much older - my mom slept in one room; my dad slept on the couch) and my husband and I (40's). Disappointed to not be able to use the kayaks (they had a weight limit of about 80 pounds - probably would have been fine, but didn't want to chance it) - lots of yard things to do and swim - it was VERY hot all week. All in all, a relaxing week after the Gravel Grinder bike race my husband participated in.

Another great stay. We also enjoyed being able to check in early. The house is stocked with everything. Nice layout and clean. This was our second time renting and we have already booked for Labor Day weekend. The hosts are friendly and readily available for questions if needed. Neighbors on both sides are nice. We caught several catfish and crappie. My daughter enjoyed the kid kayaks. Highly recommend this property!!

There was a snack basket, plenty of towels, bedding, and cleaning supplies. The property and lake are beautiful. We enjoyed time on the porch and the dock each day. We even enjoyed watching the fireflies. We would absolutely stay here again.

I enjoy staying near water. This was my first lakeside experience. It was so relaxing to sit on the porch and enjoy the wonderful lake view. The Canada geese were stopping by for a rest on the lake as well. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Super cute home! It provided the perfect location for a getaway for us. We enjoyed the screened in porch and time out on the dock and deck. We traveled with little ones and felt like the house was "kid proof". It may seem small, but the fans in every room, coffee in kitchen and the amount of outlets/plugs was a huge plus! Thanks for having us!

Just as beautiful as the photos & all the feels that the photos elicit… Friends for nearly 50 years could not have had a more lovely appointed experience , from coffee pods, to linens, to kayaks/paddle boards to fire pit to sunrises & sunsets..Was worth our road-trip down from Ohio.. Greatest compliment , we’ve been told, “ we’ll be back” and indeed we will be!

This is a great place to relax, and have fun with the family! We loved the lake and the quiet water. Hardly any traffic at all, it was super peaceful! This is a wonderful getaway with family or friends to play games, grill out, kayak, and fish! We will be back!

We wanted a quiet getaway where the men could fish. This was perfect! The house was sweet and perfect for our group. We used the fire pit for hotdogs and s’mores, played Cornhole and fished everyday, took walks with the dog. We even drove into town and ate at Jimmy’s steak and seafood which was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

This is a beautiful home! Sliding back doors are connected to the master bedroom & to the screened in back porch in which both over look the big back yard and private dock leading directly to Lake Jackson! Sitting on the back porch with my hubby & fur baby while watching the sun rise & drinking a cup of coffee was the best way to start my mornings! Life jackets, lake towels, corn hole, back yard jenga, & so much more are available for use during your stay. Also, the host provides a washer, dryer, & outdoor shower to clean up after your lake fun. My family absolutely loved that the home is pet friendly! Not enough places offer a nice, fun, safe place for our fur baby to be part of the family vaca! Thank you!!Just a heads up for some, if you are traveling with people that are unable to go up and down the stairs to get to the bathroom, this place is not what you're looking for. Unfortunately, both bathrooms are on main floor. Main floor includes kitchen, living room/dining room, master bedroom & both bathrooms. 2nd floor includes 3 bedrooms with 5 beds available. All beds are very comfortable! We were traveling with teens so the stairs weren't an issue for us directly, but a traveler before me mentioned it being an issue for them, so I thought I would share to help the next traveler find the rental that best suits them. This home is located in a peaceful neighborhood, kept clean & yard maintained. We will definitely revisit if we're ever back in the area!

Unfortunately, both bathrooms are on main floor. Main floor includes kitchen, living room/dining room, master bedroom & both bathrooms. 2nd floor includes 3 bedrooms with 5 beds available. All beds are very comfortable! We were traveling with teens so the stairs weren't an issue for us directly, but a traveler before me mentioned it being an issue for them, so I thought I would share to help the next traveler find the rental that best suits them. This home is located in a peaceful neighborhood, kept clean & yard maintained. We will definitely revisit if we're ever back in the area!

Family friendly, charming lake house Right on the water. It has all the necessities and plenty of amenities. Despite us being there during pollen season, this home was very clean. The rooms were spacious & cozy, beds were firm but comfy. Plenty of quality linens; so many soft blankets, lots of pillows & towels. Huge washer & 2 dryers. Hosts were kind, helpful & quick to respond - They are even mailing back a load of clothes we forgot in a dryer! We highly recommend, we would love to stay here again..
