Quality Inn & Suites Columbia I-70

The staff was friendly and helpful but this property needs some help. It’s very old and dated. The room had dirty shower curtain and window curtain. The window had a crack and there was a gap, so the window was not sealed. This hotel needs a renovation. The equipment in the little gym wasn’t safe, there were missing screws and bolts on the ground. They also need more breakfast items.

Most of it was fine. But pool was green

Price was good, room was clean, though did have a slight odd smell but wasn't noticeable after a few minutes. The beds were nice. They have breakfast, but its limited to toast muffins bagels and waffles. The parking lot pavement was broken up.

For another weekend the one ice machine was broken. Couldn’t get internet. They didn’t have a chart ffor TV stations.

out side of the rood a little run down, Poo was closed, I did not know when I booked it on expedia that it was seasonal, I would have gone elsewhere, I booked this because it said pool on amenities on their website, no mention of seasonal that I remember seeing or it wasn't readily evident. Dissapointed. Staff was friendly and apologetic but that doesnt get me in a pool..

Only issue I had was parking lot got full fast and the back door was not accessible.

Omg, where do I begin?!! I read a lot of the reviews about this hotel, thinking people were maybe being very judgemental or standards are ultra bougie. Anyways, they were 💯!! It was disgusting! We moved from our first room to get another which was alot better, and trust me when I say, thats not saying much...torn curtains, big stain on chair cushion, sticky stuff on the table, trash on the floor, toilet didnt flush, etc!! Oh, & dont expect any ice, since the ice machine is " temporarily " out if order, & dont get your heart set on taking advantage of the swimming pool which is closed do to " maintenance " reasons. The grounds had trash all over, overgrown weeds, and busted up pavement. I will never stay at a "Quality" Inn again. It was very sketchy & scary...i need a tetanus shot now!!

Good value for the money. The room needed some minor repairs and paint that didn’t affect my use of the room except for the security lock was broken. I usually lock use that when I travel but it had been broken off.

1.) This Quality inn & Suites was not clean at all. Rooms were too humid and bed sheets were not even washed along with the bath towels. 2.) As soon as we got there our rooms were filthy, also the microwave and fridge were not clean well. 3.) They wanted to move us rooms but the following room had stains on walls, broken doors, rugs torn apart, and not up to health and housing standard. 4.) The fridges would leak and i heard someone slip and fall in their room. 5.) There is not continental breakfast in this Quality Inn & Suites 6.) As the A/C would turn on it would smell like weed 7.) Sinks would also clogged up and not drain. I DO NOT!!!! RECOMMEND THIS STAY TO NOBODY!!!

Mold in shower tile. Mold on shower curtain. Bathroom door was filthy. Carpet was dirty and sticky.

Very dirty run down property, the room was very dirty and smelled awful, definitely had been smoked in a lot. The pictures of this property must be from when they originally opened because the property did not look like that. Choice Hotels has certainly lowered their standards

Wasn’t very happy with my stay! My room wasn’t very clean. The bathroom had hair in the tub and all over the floor just wasn’t up-to-date and not to my liking.

Stayed for one quick night. The lobby smelled of marajuana. The shower had mildew and possibly black mold. Bathroom door certainly had wear and tear. There were holes in the black out curtain.

It was DISGUSTING! Do not go here unless you enjoy finding other people’s trash in your room, crumbs in your bed sheets, hair all over the place and a urine smell in your shower. The lobby smells like BO and old food. The ice machine, laundry, door scanners were out of service. There were literally dog fights outside of my window. I had a three night stay but left after a few hours. Do not go here for the love of god!

The hotel was not at all what it was advertised. We were not expecting anything fancy but it was gross. Stains on the couches, dried urine behind the toilet, cigarette ashes on the toilet seat, smelled like old cigarette smoke (and it was supposed to be a smoke free facility). VERY outdated and dark. Each room was almost $400/ night (game weekend in a college town) and they are probably the worst rooms I have ever seen. Extremely disappointed and the rooms were non-refundable.

The room was filthy. The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed, there was dust on every surface, and the bathroom smelled like mildew. Towels were stained and the bed sheets didn’t look freshly washed. For the price, this was unacceptable. Definitely would not stay I usually don’t complain, but this hotel really needs to improve its cleaning standards. The bathroom had hair left behind, and the bedding didn’t feel clean. Staff were friendly, but that doesn’t make up for how uncomfortable it felt to stay in such an unkempt room.

This Quality Inns and Suite has easy access to I70. The prices are great and it's clean and reasonable. This is my 'go to' when staying in Columbia.

Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay but the only things hot were waffles and coffee, so just a Continental breakfast. Also, toilet seat hinge was broken.

There was no wireless outlets near bed to plug in phone. This is very important as there are no alarm clocks in room and depend on own phone alarm clock to go off.

It was a decent room. The beds were not uncomfortable for they weren't the most comfy beds either. The TV kept going soft to really loud volume randomly which was annoying. The front desk employees were always friendly when we went by and checked in and out. The location wasn't the best and the building could use some updating/repairs. Overall though it was a good visit and good stay.

Beds were clean, not comfortable. A/C units need replaced had trouble breathing and headache the next day. TV outdated and small only cable. The room was only spot cleaned and what I mean by this is only areas that are used the most and visible are cleaned but the table in between the bed I had to pull out to plug in the alarm clock so I had a USB to charge my phone and there was trash behind it. Bathrooms were not very cleaned door was filthy. Towels were not clean. Marijuana smell in the whole hotel. Even in the elevator.

The room furniture was beaten up, the shower floor was stained and the toilet didn’t refill water unless I took the toilet top off and tapped the water valve. It just needs updated. But for the price, I can’t complain too much.

Front desk crew is friendly and accommodating

Staff gave me and my guest an occupied room with 2 males in it. The second room we got was dirty and stunk like urine. Staff on duty was defensive and was upset that I was scared. She told me I was rude and refused a refund. As we left the hotel to stay somewhere safer, a random man followed us out. We felt so unsafe and disturbed by the unapologetic staff that didn’t care how we felt or how they presented their hotel rooms. Reviews must be lies or made up because it was dirty (crumbs on tables and look like used dirty sheets on bed) also unsafe with homeless looking people with multiple trash bags stuff walking around hallways and doors not locked/proped open. Horrible! Not safe, would never ever stay at a Quality inn. Great price if you want to feel unsafe!

Staff was great in locating a lost wallet. When it was found in our room they called us to ensure its return.

During my stay at around 10:30 at night someone opened my door. If it was not for the safety latch they would have gained access. The staff seemed very unconcerned and offered little to no help. One of the stories I received was “I told the domino’s guy to not come back” I have asked the manager for a review or copy of the camera footage and have yet to receive anything. I will be reaching out to corporate on Monday.

The price was reasonable as compared to other hotels in the area but it was during the Alabama/Missouri football game weekend so all prices were higher than normal. The room was clean however some areas could use updated/maintenance (ex: the carpet had old cigarette burns but the room did not smell of smoke at all, one curtain had an area off the hook). The front desk staff was courteous. The parking lot entrance was tight and would be difficult for a Uhaul or trailer to enter. It was also pretty dirty (people had thrown food on the lot in multiple places). The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the continental breakfast was sufficient. I would stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Except for the few things mentioned, I would have given this place an excellent rating.

Got nonsmoking rooms as soon as you walked into the hotel it smelled like smoke/weed and the rooms weren’t the cleanest. Also the pics of this hotel online look a lot better than what it does in person. The male staff were rude to my parents when trying to check on the rooms. Not a great experience but they needed a place to stay while in town for my wedding.

They cancelled my booking and won’t refund me my money back and the lady at the front desk is highly rude!

The front desk girl was amazing. I had a rough trip and she was compassionate and understanding.

Nicole turned what should have been a quiet & peaceful stay while we were in town to visit a very ill family member, into an incredibly stressful & draining experience. We had booked two rooms, but my daughter had to leave earlier than me. When I asked for a receipt from Nicole for my daughter’s check-out, she refused to give us anything because we had booked through Expedia. When I stated that I found it hard to believe that she couldn’t give us any sort of confirmation, she said Expedia would call her to confirm but now she wouldn’t confirm because we had given her attitude. I expressed frustration at her behavior & asked to speak to a manager, which ended up with her kicking us all out of the hotel, even though we had the other room reserved for 2 more nights. Nicole called the police, & proceeded to lie to them about us being disruptive all weekend. We had barely even been in the hotel as we were visiting our sick relative the whole time. We only returned to the hotel to sleep. This experience has caused us all emotional distress & financial hardship as we had to get another hotel without receiving a refund for the unused days. Nicole’s behavior was despicable & I caution anyone considering a stay here - this woman is irrational & rude & may decide on a whim to kick you out. She had no evidence to suggest we had done anything, but the police informed me that as a representative of a private property, she could allege anything she wants. Stay elsewhere!!

Excellent service at check-in! Staff was super helpful with food recommendations and making sure we enjoyed our stay! Facility was clean and odor free. Breakfast was as I expected and perfect for our family.

Did not feel like a safe area and the room was not very clean, especially the restroom which smelled like mildew. The refrigerator was not plugged in, full of water and also smelled.

Clean, safe environment. We were in town to visit the university and this was near the university and also plenty dining and shopping options. Very close to the medical center. A great value!

Great room for the price! Clean and comfortable. Close to where I was visiting. Excellent proximity to a grocery store.

They have a homeless issue in this area. They are trying to address this, but seems to be a challenge. A couple of nights there was too much partying amongst some guest.

The room was clean. Hotel was well worn. Needing new carpet in the hallways. Breakfast was very limited. Hardly any choices. Although coffee wasn't bad. Better than most hotels I've been to. Not enough shampoo in the room for 2 people. Asked for more at check in, they didn't have shampoo so they gave me a conditioner and lotion. Not sure why since it wouldn't do any good without the shampoo. It was a non smoking hotel but there was a very strong smell of weed throughout the hallways as soon as you opened the door.

It was an older property. If youre looking for cheaper place to stay with not much to offfer this is your place. Dont expect much for breakfast. It was nothing to get excited about

It was accessible and easy to get to. Check in was great. Breakfast was ok. Not much to it. But satisfactory. Front door was in need of some repair. The entry light in our room. Went off and on by themselves.

The front desk, staff and the cleaning staff were all amazing and very friendly. I had no issues at all with my room. I even requested more towels and pillows, and they made sure to bring them to me. Breakfast was not the best because there wasn’t anything really there besides yogurt and waffles but the pool stays open till 10 PM and it’s outdoors The AC worked perfect and the service was good

Room was fine if you just need a place to sleep, beds were comfy enough, breakfast included, was super limited. Consisted of two kind of cereals, bread, bagels and a waffle maker. Nothing hot.
