Room was perfect and the Bar and Breakfast was Awesome. Their Staff headed by Megan was terrific. Service Great food Great. This is what raises the bar from a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn

We were uninformed when we booked the room that the hotel was getting a new roof. We have stayed here multiple times and always loved the property! This time however we were not told they were putting on a new roof. The sign said when we arrived they only worked 8-6 on the roof. The roofers worked until almost 8 pm and then we were rudely awoke by the pounding of 25 guys with nail guns at 7:15 am. The hotel itself and staff are always great but they should have told us when we booked about the noise level for this trip. We were not pleased AND they put us on the 4th floor right under the roof.

Things were good. We were in a handicap room which was ok, but the tub floor was very slick.Could use some non slick pads. The pool area was nice, except there were 20 or so adults sitting outside drinking not paying any attetion to ther kids. 15 to 20 kids were running and jumping in the pool and hottub and sliding around on the floor, and screaming. My husband and I just wanted to relax awhile in the hottub but could not handle the noise and unruelly kids. The kids were running in and outside bringing in all kinds of dirt and debri in to the pools. We did report it to the staff at front desk,but didn't seem to help. They did address situation, but did not keep an eye on things. We went down an hour later there was no change in the pool. Kim Daniels

We were visiting family and this was a great location away from campus and downtown. The property is clean and well maintained, and our room was comfortable and quiet. My only complaint is that there was a large group of lacrosse families staying at the hotel and when we were relaxing in the pool and hot tub, the pool and entire outside deck were taken over by about 25 kids and 30 adults. It was loud and crazy, and the parents weren't watching their kids who were screaming and playing rough in the pool. The kids were screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs in the indoor pool area while their parents drank out on the patio. When my wife and I decided to leave the pool area to relax on the patio, a few of the ladies in their group decided to confiscate all the chairs on the patio for their kids who weren't even outside on the deck. My adult son and daughter had to get chairs from the pool area to join us. I spoke to one of the staff members who gave them a polite warning about the noise, but it didn't do much good. I would advise the hotel owners to put a policy in place so that large groups of people can't take over an entire area unless they reserve it and pay a fee. Overall, our room was comfortable, but since we were unable to enjoy any of the amenities, I give the hotel 3 stars.
