Always a great stay at Stoney Creek! The breakfast and coffee are better than average and the property is clean and safe. However, the last FEW times we have stayed here, the hot tub is always out of service. Not sure if they just don't plan to fix it, but if so, then they should update their amenities listing to let folks know. Hubby was HUGELY disappointed...

Many things are dated and in need of repair/replacement. Furniture is worn, it is difficult to control the temperature in the rooms, the pool area and hot tub have peeling and chipping paint everywhere. The hot tub was not working. Of three treadmills in the fitness center only one actually works. Candy left in the fitness center was there for two days which means no one actually cleans in there. There is a bar but no one was staffing it so it was never actually open. My room didn’t have a hair dryer and it took a while and several calls to track one down. The whole facility is just in need of some TLC.

The most comfortable beds you’ll ever sleep on, and a nice hot breakfast to go along with it. The hot tub was out of order during our stay but the pool was fantastic! Love the decorations and the people were friendly. It’s like the great wolf lodge but smaller :)

It is a very pretty property but our room was dirty. There was cigarette butts and other garbage on our patio, something sticky all over our bathroom counter, something brown and gross on the area around the jacuzzi, no Tp and no coffee. I alerted the staff to all this and they could not switch us rooms because they were booked, and they did not offer to come clean the room but they did give us a @ discount.

I frequently stay here and normally have a very great experience. However, the last time I stayed, the property was dirty. The floors clearly hadn't been vacummed in a while. My room had dust, dirt, and even confetti all on the carpet, and the bathroom floor hadn't been swept - there was a spilled bag of Cheetos behind the trash can that hadn't been picked up by the previous guest or housekeeping.

I love this hotel and have stayed here for years. But our last stay was disappointing. The facilities have aged, cleaning is below standard. There is just a dingy dirty feel and smell to the hotel. Our room really needed a deep cleaning. Pillows smelled. No washclothes in the bathroom and only two hand towels (yes I could have requested more). Used the washer and dryer on the premises and the washer didn't spin our clothes. Staff was fantastic and the maintenance man (who was wonderful) dried our clothes for us in the big facility machines. But really Stoney Creek, do some upgrades, deep clean, new carpet, freshen the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room was not cleaned properly. There was garbage left behind the TV. Alot of stuff in the room was broken handles, knobs,hole in the wall, lamps not working, no controls for the fans etc.. the shower was so slick I fell down and really hurt my toe.

Stony Creek Inn has a great lobby and conference center. The breakfast was good and the rooms are large. The biggest downside are the mattresses. They are too soft and lumpy. The miniblinds let in too much light at night, but the lamps aren't bright enough when you want light. A few changes and this place could be great.

Horrible service. My room TV wasn't working. After multiple reminders nothing got done and I had to ask for room change or leave the hotel. Same thins with room cleaning services. I stayed there 9 night and asked to clean my room nothing got done.

We had a few inconveniences during our stay. The bathroom sink didn’t want to drain. The air was broken the first night - it was a hot night and very damp in our room. Thankfully a wonderful maintenance worker fixed it the following day after we had to ask the front desk twice for help. The maintenance worker was very friendly and helpful. We asked for delayed checkout for my daughter to have somewhere to stay while I was in a class. We were willing to pay. The front desk was unwilling to accommodate in anyway.

At check-in they told me they had no reservation for me even though I had my hotels.com itinerary # on my phone to show them. They then had to make a new reservation for me directly with the hotel and thankfully had a room. Others after me were not so lucky and had nowhere to stay. Major mistake by Stoney Creek. No hot water for showers on our last morning. Coffee in lobby and breakfast room was empty and no attempt to refill them. Breakfast was really bad. Eggs had green/blue colors in them. Bed was really bad with a major dip in the center. Overall, the hotel is very work out and tired. I won’t stay here again if I can avoid it.

Online booking easy. Checked in via email/text. Not much weight at the desk. The remote on my TV initially didn't work and they promptly replaced it. Room was clean and quiet. Temperature control was easy. Hot water was hot and came quickly when I showered. Can't ask for more! Breakfast was great!

My wife and I purposely select motels with BARS. So we dont have to go out and drive. This location list a bar and has pictures of a bar. When we asked what time does it open the front desk lady had to ask another lady that said it wont be open today. What? No explanation. If your bar is seansonal, open on certain days or only for groups/ ceremonies then list it in your ad or description of your amenities. This location was a little out of or way but because it had a bar and looked nice we selected this location. Disappointing.

The bartender was less than friendly. She was borderline rude and the service was very poor. We were told upon arrival that we could get something to eat at the bar. When we asked bartender she said she they didn’t have food and could not wait on us because they were having a wedding (next door). The TV in our room did not work. We called the front desk & the guy from the front desk came up to work on the TV. He could not fix the TV & stated he was going to try to find another remote to see if it would work. He never returned.

We always enjoy staying at Stoney Creek. We book this hotel when we visit our daughter at Mizzou. It is very convenient to campus.

We always enjoy staying at Stoney Creek. We book this hotel when we visit our daughter at Mizzou. It is very convenient to campus.

Nice location, felt safe, nice grassy areas to walk with my dog. People very professional and friendly. Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I didnt get to enjoy the breakfast as it opened at 7am. I needed to check out prior, so it would have been nice if it opened at 6. I will stay here again on my trip back home. Overall very enjoyable and fairly priced.

Hotel was quiet and comfortable. This is an older hotel and needs some updating. The jets for the hot tub did not work and the breakfast was cold. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Its was an amazing outoor themed hotel, my husband loved it and i think itll be our new place to stay in como. Beds were comfy. Hot water was hot. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options and a pancake maker.friendly staff.

Very nice stay. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Horrible food from bar. Did not want to go out, just looking for something small. Absolutely terrible pizza and chicken tenders.

At check-in they told me they had no reservation for me even though I had my hotels.com itinerary # on my phone to show them. They then had to make a new reservation for me directly with the hotel and thankfully had a room. Others after me were not so lucky and had nowhere to stay. Major mistake by Stoney Creek. No hot water for showers on our last morning. Coffee in lobby and breakfast room was empty and no attempt to refill them. Breakfast was really bad. Eggs had green/blue colors in them. Bed was really bad with a major dip in the center. Overall, the hotel is very work out and tired. I won’t stay here again if I can avoid it.

Online booking easy. Checked in via email/text. Not much weight at the desk. The remote on my TV initially didn't work and they promptly replaced it. Room was clean and quiet. Temperature control was easy. Hot water was hot and came quickly when I showered. Can't ask for more! Breakfast was great!

My wife and I purposely select motels with BARS. So we dont have to go out and drive. This location list a bar and has pictures of a bar. When we asked what time does it open the front desk lady had to ask another lady that said it wont be open today. What? No explanation. If your bar is seansonal, open on certain days or only for groups/ ceremonies then list it in your ad or description of your amenities. This location was a little out of or way but because it had a bar and looked nice we selected this location. Disappointing.

The hotel rooms are in need of renovations and better cleaning. There were stains in the toilet as well as orange rings around the bathroom sink. On top of that, there was a very strong odor in our room the whole time we were there. It smelled like the room was musty/dirty before and they used a ton of cleaning products to mask the smell. It messed with my wife and I as we were trying to sleep. The a/c worked well though and it’s not the worst hotel we’ve stayed at, just don’t know if it’s worth the money.

Kinda musty but nice, could be cleaner in corners of rooms and bigger tvs. Staff was too busy to get towels for the pool room (7 people total in pool areas). So I had to walk up to front desk soaked. Breakfast was decent, good variety of juice. Pancake maker.
