We had hinterland views with partial glimpse of the ocean, as expected. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms good size. Separate laundry area with dryer, ironing board etc was good. Bring your own clothes hangers, as there was only a single hanger on the second bedroom wardrobe space. Secure access to each floor is provided via swipe card for lift access.

Was a beautiful room. Only issues were not enough towels & supplies in kitchen. The room was very clean & spacious. Absolutely gorgeous view. Was close to everything

Apartment was generally clean but the spa bath hadn't been cleaned so had to clean ot before using it. Q1 is supposed to be luxury but it's not any more. The pool was great but the spa and indoor pool fèlt like you were in a garage. It was pretty disorganised checking in and finding the entrance probably due to the ongoing construction.

After staying at this hotel for many years, this time round was dissapointing. The servicing of the room was neglected even after raising multiple times with reception. All other areas were fine, however will be looking to stay somewhere else next trip.

Located near the beach, Q1 Resort & Spa is in Surfers Paradise, a walkable area in Gold Coast with great shopping. Cavill Avenue and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Timezone and Slingshot. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Warner Bros. Movie World are not to be missed. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as surfing/body boarding and other activities like whale-watching.
