Llegamos a la 1pm y nos hicieron esperar hasta las 3 según que estaba lleno y el parqueo estaba vacío, no volvería a reservar aquí.

The hotel is pretty new. The place was very clean and convenient off the freeway. The bed was very comfortable and the towels nice. Now for the not so great. The bottles in the shower were not filled. The toilet tissue was scratchy. The kitchen had absolutely nothing to use for cooking or eating in the room. There was a refrigerator, sink and 2 burners. Just no tools. They had a list of breakfast items to be delivered in the morning for a price. It was not what I was expecting.

All was great about the property. The only problem I had was the lighting in the bathroom. You would go to take a shower and a few minutes later the light would turn off, you would then have to wave your hands outside the curtain to turn the lights back on. This happened over and over again until shower was done. Extremely irritating, when trying to have a relaxing shower. When I asked why this happened, I was told it was a California thing/regulation/ law. Whatever… Like I said before, everything was great otherwise, just bring a light. (the bathroom gets very dark).

Can’t say enough good things about the My Place Hotel in Redding! It’s easily accessible from I-5, with lots of restaurants and eateries nearby. But what really stood out to us were the little things that make a hotel stay special. We were warmly greeted by a wonderful staff member when we checked in, there was plenty of parking for overnight guests, and our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. And, as my husband would say, it was the most comfortable bed he has ever slept in away from home! We travel along I-5 twice a year and have stayed at many different hotels along the way—some quite pricey and some more budget-friendly. Honestly, none of them compare to My Place Hotel when it comes to the quality, comfort, cleanliness, and value for the price. We’ve definitely found our go-to place to stay in Redding. We’ll be back!

I waited for 10 minutes before anyone appeared at the front desk to check me in. Also, there is no complimentary breakfast and the showers are European small.
