We were not overly impressed with the made to order breakfast. Many of the food items like butter or yogurt were room temperature and the bread for making toast was stale. Everything else was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful but would not eat breakfast at this property again. It was also disappointing that the hot tub was down for repairs again.

Clean, modern hotel. Bed was very comfortable and room layout was nice - small couch with moveabke foot rest and “c” table was an excellent feature. Keurig coffee machine in the room was a nice feature as well. Pool area was nice, although the heater was broken the weekend of my stay. I was there for a weekend-long group event and the only negative about the stay was evening staff did not know how to control the temperature in our conference room and we asked a few times to have the overflowing conference room garbage emptied and no one came. The day time staff did an excellent job, and remedied things right away in the morning.

Pool area is dark, not very clean. Pool towels are size of hand towels and bad quality. Hot tub was down and we were not told at booking. Very disappointing. Broken chair in room. Paper products in room extremely low quality. So much so my 6 yr old grandson commented. Loved shower products. Most staff on their phones every time we walked through.

We've stayed here several times over the last two years but decided its time to use a new hotel. The house keeping is a problem. They dont have, or choose to not use, mattress pads on the beds. Also (the big one), they dont use sheets. You have a fitted sheet on the mattress then a quilted blanket. As there are no quilted blankets on the service carts I assume they dont get changed between guests...Yuck. Our room was on the second floor where apparently the staff hangs out to sit for long periods looking at their phone. Management must have changed. Its not the same hotel were used too.

The front desk was really helpful, especially when I needed a box to carry home some awards from an event we attended nearby. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. We were so impressed with the well-designed storage areas, drawers, charging ports, and more. The bathroom was modern, clean and beautiful. I can't say a bad thing about this place.

Carpets had multiple large stains as well as the box frame of the bed. You can hear everything your neighbors are saying in the next room at normal speaking volumes. Nice location and safe area.

The overall stay was good. I did find a pubic hair in my shower. I washed it down. Then found another hair. Not sure why it’s hard to see hairs. They were dark in color on a white tub. The breakfast buffet was empty at 9:30. The server said we are closing. I looked at my watch. He said they would make whatever o wanted. Makes me not want to buy breakfast in advance. Also are waffles and pancakes not included in the buffet. I asked the cook for a waffle and he told me to ask the server. I had enough so I didn’t even bother. Can’t forget about the green bananas.

Very nice staff and room was clean and very comfy. Only issue was the water pressure in the shower. It was VERY low - like taking a shower under a garden hose. I hope they will fix this, then the place would be perfect.

Rooms well insulated so very quiet. Only 1x heard another voice in hallway/other room and that was over 3 nights. However, our room was one floor above the area where garbage trucks collected dumpsters for the properties in the area so Monday at 5, 545 and 630 was noisy! Pool was not available and they offered us 'sister properties' pools we could use - no thanks not traveling to another property to use a pool which was disappointing. Charge for breakfast a little much and years ago it was included in price.

Good location for the price. Easy access to the beltway and University Ave which makes it easy to get to anywhere. Also walkable to the outdoor mall with lots of food options. Property was clean and well maintained. Rooms were quiet. Family friendly.

Hannah was amazing. I had a long ride by myself with three littles and i thought check in would be a nightmare. Hannah made it quick and easy. There were things we requested like an extra pillow and blanket and even a bug garbage bag to keep our dirty clothes in and the not only grnated the request she did it with a smile. We stayed the weekend for a Little league tourney and she was extremely nice to all of our boys! If we ever have to come back to Middleton, we will def book again. Thank you Hannah, from one tired momma!

One night the fire alarm kept going off. Spent most of the night standing outside cause they didn’t know how to reset it. No fire. Other night there some ladies fighting on the third floor waking everyone up. There were 2 drunk men roaming the lobby one evening . No one tending the front desk to help to get them to leave.

Recently stayed staff at check in and first day were amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. Front desk attendant at check out was not at all. We were given breakfast vouchers if we signed up for Hilton honors program. We ate the breakfast attendant asked and we said we have the vouchers but she never asked to see them. We threw everything away and were outside of the hotel loading our car. This is when they came out to our vehicle and demanded we give the vouchers which would have been no problem 15 mins before when they asked if we had them and we said yes but never needed to see them. The front desk attendant told us finally it was their mistake and no worries only for us to get a hour down the road and have a new invoice emailed to us showing they charged my card for the breakfasts anyway.

When I tried to pay a tip for the breakfast in cash, they said they don't take cash. I refused to put a $3 tip on a credit card for the room. Also, when I first checked in, they gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. That was a little scary. I had to wait on the floor for the desk person to come up with a different key to a different room.

I gave staffing a "terrible" rating because although we had THREE separate fire alarms last night (the first of which had everyone out on the driveway at 3 a.m., the next had us halfway into our shoes before it stopped, and the third was two cruel blasts at 5:45 a.m.) we never saw one staff person come outside to explain anything. The only way we knew we could go back in was because other people started walking past the lone staffer at the front desk, and she didn't stop them. Also, one check-in person at a busy time (5:00 pm on a Friday) made for very slow check-in.

The front desk was difficult to get a hold of at one point. Although it was during overnight hours, the expectation was that it was open 24 hours and it did not seem like that was the case. Myself and another guest waited over 20 minutes to find someone. Even after knocking on the employee door and calling the front desk.

We were in town for a tournament at the Capital Ice Arena and this location was perfect. Plus, it is close to a lot of dining and shopping. The hotel was very nice. The staff was great. And our room was clean and as described. We will use them again when in the area.

Good location for the price. Easy access to the beltway and University Ave which makes it easy to get to anywhere. Also walkable to the outdoor mall with lots of food options. Property was clean and well maintained. Rooms were quiet. Family friendly.

Very clean and well maintained room. Staff, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and eggs were made perfect. The atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. The facility smells good and pleasant.

We were not overly impressed with the made to order breakfast. Many of the food items like butter or yogurt were room temperature and the bread for making toast was stale. Everything else was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful but would not eat breakfast at this property again. It was also disappointing that the hot tub was down for repairs again.

The overall stay was good. I did find a pubic hair in my shower. I washed it down. Then found another hair. Not sure why it’s hard to see hairs. They were dark in color on a white tub. The breakfast buffet was empty at 9:30. The server said we are closing. I looked at my watch. He said they would make whatever o wanted. Makes me not want to buy breakfast in advance. Also are waffles and pancakes not included in the buffet. I asked the cook for a waffle and he told me to ask the server. I had enough so I didn’t even bother. Can’t forget about the green bananas.

Recently stayed staff at check in and first day were amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. Front desk attendant at check out was not at all. We were given breakfast vouchers if we signed up for Hilton honors program. We ate the breakfast attendant asked and we said we have the vouchers but she never asked to see them. We threw everything away and were outside of the hotel loading our car. This is when they came out to our vehicle and demanded we give the vouchers which would have been no problem 15 mins before when they asked if we had them and we said yes but never needed to see them. The front desk attendant told us finally it was their mistake and no worries only for us to get a hour down the road and have a new invoice emailed to us showing they charged my card for the breakfasts anyway.

When I tried to pay a tip for the breakfast in cash, they said they don't take cash. I refused to put a $3 tip on a credit card for the room. Also, when I first checked in, they gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. That was a little scary. I had to wait on the floor for the desk person to come up with a different key to a different room.

Positives: The location was great for coming into Madison from the west or north. The room was clean and spacious and had a blackout shade. The person at the front desk stayed after their usual closing time (midnight) to welcome us. He was friendly. Here are a few issues: 1. In the AM, before checkout time and before we had checked out, the maid opened the door to our room while we were in it. It's true that she knocked, but very quietly and she didn't wait for us to reply before she opened the door. We would not have heard her if we had been watching TV, running water or sleeping. 2. When we asked the front desk person, "Is there breakfast?" the reply was "yes". But it's not free, it's about $14 per person. 3. There was only one washcloth in a room for 2 people. Good: 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels and a bathmat. 4. The clock in the room was set to the the wrong time (15 mins slow). Not a problem for us, but might cause others to be late to something. 5. The refrigerators are inside a wooden cabinet with a door. Inside the cabinet was very warm, which shows how hard the motor was working to keep the refrigerator minimally cool. 6. The ice machine on our floor wasn't working. 7. For a while, one elevator was making a loud alarm-like sound. 8. When I tried to report some of these issues, the person at the front desk didn't know English well enough to understand some of my concerns. Would any of these stop us from coming again? Yes, #1.

Later, when we asked for more towels, she said that they were “in the dryer” and would “have to be folded “. So we were out of luck. Additionally, the bed was very uncomfortable.
