Ok. No lobby to check on, was not on web sight that they were under construction, when finished it will be great, we hope, no pool and one ice machine was down, a lot of this should on the web sight. Baymont nane,. but WiFi and TV said LaQuinta, this not told on website either No sign telling where lobby was. Had to call and ask

This hotel is under full construction and not suitable for paying guests. The amenities advertised are NOT available and parking is at a dark (at night) dirt parking lot off site. Several safety concerns present for guests including a rock holding open the door 24/7 and walking through construction area to get to your car.

Our neighbors were partying at 1:30 and didn’t stop until about 6, the elevators weren’t working so had to climb 3 flights of stairs with our luggage and the 3rd floor hallway wreaked of marijuana.

Under construction, dirty, noisy, rude staff, toilet paper holder broken, door handle fail off, no door handle or lock on conjoined door, front entrance barricaded and had to use side door that was open 24/7,no security, room key card maker broken, had to leave door open to leave and come back. Staff took over an hour when I called for the Wi-Fi password. They had no information on it. Took an hour for them to get back to me. The floors in our room were sticky and wet It was really noisy some construction was going on around dinner time five thirty Overall staff was not knowledgeable. Rooms were discussing an a nasty smell in the lobby. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Room was cozy and clean, beds were comfy and the AC worked great. They had plenty of towels, and toiletries. They are remodeling the front and so it's not exactly pretty but thats ok bc the price was good, room was cozy and quiet.

The whole hotel was under construction. Our balcony was under construction. The room literally had rocks inside of it. The smell of dust was overwhelming. They should not be renting out rooms while it’s under construction like this. Very disappointed.

Property is under construction. Hallways are hot and dusty. Front lobby is taped off so you have to go around to a side entry that has a brick holding door open all through night with no one to see people going in and out. Pool was closed you kids were not happy, that’s actually why we picked hotel for the indoor pool and couldn’t use it. Poor staff is in a tiny room that barely has room for desk and filled with clutter. Staff was nice.

Well it was late when we got in after 5hr drive. Our room was filthy and the earbud wearing girl at the front counter couldn't be bothered after check in. There was no mention of construction or remodeling or lack of gym and the pool area needing torn down mold everywhere when I called or when I booked. I tried to relax as I had to drive the next day but the cars playing thumping music in the private lot,was to much. Not knowing the area and being tired I tried to sleep through it. We did what we needed to thanksgiving day and came back to sleep again totally ready to say something about the room filth. To our surprise on Thanksgiving some poor sole cleaned our room and it smelled better looked better it was refreshing, it was if they were looking for something it was so clean. Still upset that there was no gym n mold in the pool area and it being remodeled with no mention. The owner was on site Friday busting chops at 7am. For the price I paid I would never stay here again but if they remodeled and cleaned up it might be worth it.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean, had plenty of space to park our truck and trailer. Only real bad thing was the TV, it sounded like the speakers had blown and it was not easy to navigate other than that would stay there again.

Newly remodeled room was comfortable, but walk-in shower floor was slippery and the only grab bars were on a sliding glass door! The place was under renovation and the front desk and dining area were covered in dust! Just a mess. Breakfast was mystery meat and eggs but dining area was a mess.

I was very disappointed that I wasn’t informed that the pool area was going to be closed due to renovation. I’ve stayed at the same property four times over the last three years and it has been constantly under renovation. Seems like they never get done and it’s always a mess and something‘s not working, the amenities are nice, but the workmanship being done is half ass. My room had recently been renovated and it seemed like it wasn’t finished. It was missing furniture and the Workmanship on what it been done was very poor. Everything was crooked and the drapes didn’t even cover the window So people could actually see in my room from the window. Very very disappointing

Even with what appeared to be a extremely reduced staff, service was great. The only complaint was with the TV. The picture quality and sound were poor. It also displayed the opportunity to use Netflix but it never worked.

Check in no one at the front desk had to wait what seemed like a long time for someone to come out of the back room. No sign or anything. Room and hotel clean but bed frame broken so sleep was difficult rolling to the center of the bed holding on to edges all night lol. Tried to tell front desk at exit to maybe check the bed out for future guests but again absent front desk at 930 am exit. Not a soul to be found! Terribly ran with service. Absent staff! But room cleanliness was on point, bathroom very clean stocked and ready. Tv speakers blown out like the bed! A lot of crackling but for a one night stay who cares really. It’s decent, not the best and service absent.

Checked into room 317 late in the afternoon and went to dinner. Came back a little after 9pm. The bed was awful, It was shaped like a taco. We laid on either sides of the bed and were both pulled to the center. It was too late and we were too tired to request a new room. We slept awkward on an angle, and woke up to a horrible nights sleep. I got in the shower the next morning to find no soap in the shower dispenser, it was not filled up and left empty. We went to have breakfast at 6:10 am to eggs that were completely bland and the canadian bacon that seemed to be cooked hours before. The bacon was hard and rubbery. We checked out and told the attendant about our room and how disappointed we were and she said “Sorry about that, but have a good morning”. I told her to write our complaint in the notes. Right after I was leaving a women and husband showed up to complain about how their room needed cleaning and how there was a sticky shiny stain on the floor, that they did not want to be charged for. She also asked the attendant to write it in the notes.

My room was next to the stairwell and exit. Both doors slammed so violently and traffic was coming in and out all night. The room door had gaps along the sides that allowed light, and likely critters, into the room. It had potential, but made for a terrible night's sleep.

We truly enjoyed our 2-night stay in a King Room. It was updated, clean and spacious and amenities included a microwave, mini-fridge and a single-cup coffee maker. The bed was ultra comfy and we really appreciated the large flat screen TV and the plentiful counter/desk space. Our check-in was quick and easy and the front counter staff kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We partook of the muffins, scrambled eggs and sausages for breakfast, taking our meal up to our room to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again. It's a great value for the money.

The bed was ultra comfy and we really appreciated the large flat screen TV and the plentiful counter/desk space. Our check-in was quick and easy and the front counter staff kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We partook of the muffins, scrambled eggs and sausages for breakfast, taking our meal up to our room to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again. It's a great value for the money.

Still under construction. Debris everywhere. Staff appeared uncaring. No signs for front desk. AC didn’t work. Got another room. That ac would not turn off. They should not open until construction is done!

Worst hotel we've ever stayed at. We knew the remodel was ongoing as we've been there before but keep thinking they'll get better and make progress but they never do. I called ahead to make sure hot tub was working and was told yes its good to go. After 12 hrs on the road we needed it. I waited 5 minutes in the lobby to check in because no one at the desk, maint. guy came in and went to the back and got her. Room was old and had a long dark hair on the toilet tank, no big deal, we were ready for food and hot tub. Got back from dinner, went to hot tub, nope, not working. Went to the counter and she argued with me!! Went to bed, next morning go to lobby for breakfast and it looks good at first but no milk and none of the warmers working. Eggs and sausage are refrigerator cold. Found same counter girl and again she argued with me, said she could see the food was hot because there was condensation. That was the last chance that dump gets.

It was awful. I will never stay here again. The site has been under construction for a couple years now. I’ve stayed here several times without issue. This time ruined it for me. Upon check in, the worker was on a personal phone call with their friend who was on a camping trip as they explained and was not happy to be bothered by my business. They didn’t even ask for my ID to confirm my online reservation. They were back to talking on their phone before finishing my transaction. When we first arrived to the hotel and got up to our room, before I even put our key in the door, we decided to ask for a different room because our adjoining neighbor to the right of us was blasting their music. We went and asked to be moved. The worker was playing Roblox by then and I asked to be moved and I explained why. They told me instead that they would tell the neighbor to quiet down and left to do so. The neighbor did quiet down. The room looked nice and pretty clean but the shower door was unlevel and rolled back open when you shut it, which got water all over the floor while you showered. The balcony was a nice touch. We had chosen the hotel because it was storming and we wanted the indoor pool for the kids to have something to do even though it was raining outside. No access to that because of construction. The hostess initially gave me a room with a king bed initially, didn’t know until we got in the room. Supposed to be 2 queen beds. When I went to change it, she upgraded us to a suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa! That was very nice of her! Was also pleasantly surprised to get housekeeping. We only stayed 2 nights! Much better than my last experience at a Wyndham!

Front desk staff here are always very accomodating. Hot tub was nice. Thank Goodness they got it fixed! Breakfast area is a little "off"...and no pastries left by the time we got there...bummer. Other than that? Great place to stay, comfortable beds!

Check in no one at the front desk had to wait what seemed like a long time for someone to come out of the back room. No sign or anything. Room and hotel clean but bed frame broken so sleep was difficult rolling to the center of the bed holding on to edges all night lol. Tried to tell front desk at exit to maybe check the bed out for future guests but again absent front desk at 930 am exit. Not a soul to be found! Terribly ran with service. Absent staff! But room cleanliness was on point, bathroom very clean stocked and ready. Tv speakers blown out like the bed! A lot of crackling but for a one night stay who cares really. It’s decent, not the best and service absent.

The rooms and bed were clean and comfortable. Hallway carpeting needs repair as does some of the trim .. Outside there was some construction clean up that should be put out of customer view; seeing fallen trees or outdoor lighting on the ground does not give an appearance of tidiness.

This hotel is under full construction and not suitable for paying guests. The amenities advertised are NOT available and parking is at a dark (at night) dirt parking lot off site. Several safety concerns present for guests including a rock holding open the door 24/7 and walking through construction area to get to your car.

First off.. i didnt know if it was even open. The front, rear and side entrances were all closed.. dirt everywhere and guys bringing in mattresses for rooms.. i had to ask the construction workers how to get to check in.. the parking is in dirt with paint markings all the way in the back. I really hope my SUV doesn't get broken into.. i picked this place and paid top dallar cause it was 3 star hotel (highest in the area) (for tomorrow, i picked the other 3star hotel).. i could have felt cleaner and safer in the hotel next door.. they have a parking lot and a front entrance.. I'll be taking pictures cause words doesn't describe what is going on with this place.. and breakfast was included?! Am i eating with the construction workers out of the gut truck??? That might be the only good thing about this stay!!

This property is actually a La Quinta being converted to a Baymont by Wyndham. So it was hard to find since I was looking for a Baymont. I had to call for directions and found out it was the La Quinta ! There is construction going on all over the place. The construction was quiet but still annoying. The gym equipment was new and being assembled. There was one check in clerk and it took about 15 minutes for her to handle one person ahead of me. My room was nice and it looks like it may be a nice hotel once they get it converted to a Baymont but for the near future I can't recommend it.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean, had plenty of space to park our truck and trailer. Only real bad thing was the TV, it sounded like the speakers had blown and it was not easy to navigate other than that would stay there again.

Trash all over the parking lot. Mattresses, pallets, just junk in general everywhere. Didn’t feel safe leaving my truck in the parking lot. 1st room lights didn’t work in the bathroom, 2nd room didn’t have a balcony which is something I paid for.

There was no signage on the building, entrance was blocked, by construction machinery. Tried calling facility, had to let ring for 10 minutes, finally answered, said to come in a side door, walked halfway with no ceiling tiles, to makeshift check in. The room was good BUT the breakfast was TERRIBLE, yogurt was frozen, no bread, had to ask for milk, cereal not crunchy, waffle iron not working properly and waffle stuck because it was not heating! Coffee was good!!need to have someone supervise area for cleanliness and food refill. Staff friendly in every way but Breakfast was downfall!!!!!

The room was clean and quiet. There was construction going on in the lobby but that seemed to be the case in many hotels in Safford. The pool and hot tub were a disappointment. The pool was cold and the hot tub not very warm. There was debris on the bottom, probably the result of construction. The breakfast was good with a nice assortment of foods and breakfast beverages.

Newly remodeled room was comfortable, but walk-in shower floor was slippery and the only grab bars were on a sliding glass door! The place was under renovation and the front desk and dining area were covered in dust! Just a mess. Breakfast was mystery meat and eggs but dining area was a mess.

this hotel is undergoing serious renovation. there was no indication that the facilities, pool and hot tub, were out of order or that the construction had left the buffet in the the lobby across the four feet of space from the front desk. the staff attempted to host well but they apparently had few options and no control over whatever the owners are doing. I appreciate the upgrades but maybe don't pretend that the hotel can maintain it's quality appeal during the adventure. classic bait and switch or a horrible breakdown in communication. I couldn't hold the staff accountable for things they couldn't change. I hope someone from the ownership or the marketing partners will look into it.

one of the better and more affordable options in Safford; unfortunately, even though it was recently renovated (last year?) it's kind of gone down hill... the lobby wasn't well staffed and the overall presentation was messy and kind of "uncared" for. The elevator was dirty. The carpets and floors didn't appear clean. (especially in the room we stayed in) I didn't complain as it was a one night stay and I do understand it's a small town and staff seems limited.
