The Towpath Retreat: A Cozy Farmhouse Stay

I stayed for a long weekend and the place is perfectly located within walking distance to downtown and the park. It had everything I needed for my stay (kitchen and laundry amenities). I would definitely stay there again.

I was riding the Towpath Trail on my bike and this was a good place to stay close to the trail for one night, and Canal Fulton turned out to be a fun and quaint little town to visit as well.The property is unassuming from the outside but is located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in town. Inside it was super clean, modern and nicely decorated. It is done it a 'farmhouse' motif which blended together from room to room. The kitchen area is well-appointed, and the washer/dryer is easily accessible. The only thing to know, depending who all is traveling with you, is that there is only one bathroom and it's on the second floor which may not suite elderly or disabled guests.The host was friendly, clear and helpful. For the one night I stayed here, I really enjoyed it!

My son and I stayed here for one night while he ran the Ohio to Erie Trail. This was a perfect stop in Canal Fulton, easy on and off the trail. The house itself offered all the comforts of home, and I took advantage of the washer and dryer to launder several days of running gear. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made sure our check-in process was seamless. They sent specific instructions for the property prior to our arrival, so I knew exactly where to park and how to unlock the door when we got there. They even checked in with us later in the evening to make sure everything was okay. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Canal Fulton, whether they are tackling the trail or simply enjoying all this lovely town has to offer.
