Facility looked nice from the front, breakfast room, in poor condition, tall 12 inch grass on inner court, sprinkler head broke with water running every where, no ice machine on 1st floor. Computer didn’t work at the front desk, so took about 30 minutes to check in.

The bad: When we arrived, there was no running water. We were not informed of this ahead of time . We were not informed at check-in either. The key to one of our rooms only worked half the time. The pool had some clumps of what looked like hair at the bottom. The gym was out of order. The desk chair in one of the rooms was in bad shape and too uncomfortable to use. Breakfast was very limited to mostly carbs and fats. Only protein was hardboiled eggs and yogurt. The staff was cordial but inhelpful with all the problems. The good: very comfortable beds.

There was no ice machine on the first floor! No vending. There is no ADA way to get to the 2nd floor. Only stairs. Check-in was slow because key cards for multiple guests didn’t work. There was so much noise couldn’t sleep. You hear every toilet flush within 5 rooms of you. Furniture was dirty and looked worn out, door handles loose etc.

Hotels.com needs to update their description of this property!!!! We booked this hotel for our 25th Valentines weekend trip and found out after checking in that the hotel restaurant and lounge were closed! Then, later we were told the pool was also closed and have been for quite awhile!!! I am very disappointed in your customer service center as well. I tried contacting hotels.com via virtual chat and by calling, both were unsuccessful at reaching anyone regarding the situation!!!! Do better!!!

Many of the problems we encountered are likely due to understaffing. There was no housekeeping service. They ran out of towels when I asked at the desk. Breakfast, no matter what time we went over 4 days, was routinely out of milk, yogurt, coffee, eggs, bread. Additionally, the pool and hot tub were cold, the exercise room was closed, and the key cards became demagnetized at the drop of a hat, necessitating a trip to the front desk more than 50% of the times we tried to get into the room. These issues were also found by my friends in 3 other rooms during the same time period. On the plus side, the room seemed clean, the bed was comfy, the frig and a/c worked, and parking was adequate.

The staff was friendly. Pool was cold and dirty, was told by staff it was heated. Breakfast buffet was cleaned out at 8:30 and not kept up. Property was not maintained and the pictures advertising weren't close to what we experienced.

Do not stay here. I should have known the hotel was in poor conditions by the musty smell as soon as you walk in…the room was disgusting. Floor was not vacuumed, bathroom had dirt and mold. Avoid this place!

Check-in was easy. However, when we got to our room, it was cold. We turn on the heat and discovered that the shower only did hot water and the heater in the room did not do heat. then we got extra blankets, hoping it wouldn't be that bad, but couldn't sleep quite a bit of the night because I was so cold. There were beer cans underneath the bathroom vanity, that hadn't been picked up. It just was not a good experience. When we went down to ask for blankets, they asked if we wanted to move rooms, it wasn't terribly cold and already undressed for the night, so figured the blankets would be fine. I did not account for waking up and the room being as cold as it was outside. We did not appreciate it. It was unpleasant.I was shivering by the time I got out to my car because it was so cold in the room. I've stayed here twice before and it's never been this bad, but there was no there's no way I'll stay there again.

The room smelled very strongly of bleach and chemicals that it triggered my asthma. I had to open the window and door to try to air it out. The smell was coming from the bathroom area. The carpets in the room had debris (food crumbs) on them and there were areas of the carpet coming off. The halls also have carpet coming off. Definitely needs a renovation. Not coming back.

Wasn’t a horrible experience with the staff at all…. But the cleanliness and look of the rooms was not the best. Furniture was old, dingy, and scratched up. Shower was stained and old, with knobs that barely worked. There was an odd smell of urine in certain areas of the room.

Terrible hotel, outdated and dirty. Stains on furniture, hair and bugs on the bed, Stains on the window to an unmowed courtyard, pool was ice cold and not what was presented online. Tub had soap scum and after taking shower the tub wouldn't drain, bathroom sink wouldn't drain after brushing teeth. This hotel should be taken off your list. I checked out within 2 hours of checking in, I was promised a full refund.

This hotel was conveniently located and the staff was nice. However, the interior is outdated and our room wasn’t as clean as it could have been. (It looked like they forgot to vacuum.) It was a noisy hotel partly because doors are old and do not reduce the sound coming from the hallways and the walls are thin between adjoining rooms. Guests who stay should be aware that the conference space is rented out and they could be subjected to loud party music that goes past 10:30pm.

This hotel is really run down. Our room was clean, but the showerhead was falling out of the wall, the TV didn’t work, and two of the lamps didn’t work properly. We got in late so we didn’t notice until the morning, and the staff was nice about noting the issues, but this was definitely only acceptable because it was a one night stay, and it was clean, just falling apart.

The air conditioner in the room did not work, it was very warm most of the night, I told the front desk agent about it, he sent a note to maintenance, was not able to move me to another room, they were sold out of clean rooms, I could hear a dog barking in the room next door all night.

Booked for concert and the staff was aware of the event. They noted that they were booked out due to this event. However people noted having over 30 minutes to check in. We had problems going into the rooms with the doors. Some people got rooms that had people in it already. Since the staff knew about the event, they were not staffed nor planned properly for it.

1st night i stayed someone came into my room. They were issued keys to my room. Talk about scary. The person at the front desk was very appologetic but who wouldnt be. He needed to cover his butt. By the way not the only mistake he did. The people behind me complained their room was not cleaned at all. Was suppose to get my room free, i did not. The next morning i went to take a shower, no shower curtain. The bathroom was dirty. Hair in the sink and shower. Gross!!! I complained the next morning and people standing infront of me had issues as well. I will never be back!!!!

Good help is hard to find… and well needless to say Amber at the front desk is one of those people who made the stay wonderful. Despite checking in after midnight, we were greeted with a welcoming smile and cheerful attitude. So few in management realize when a guest checks in at a hotel - the one person who makes or breaks a stay is that first and most oftentimes last personal contact with the brand; the person checking you in at the front desk. You’re essentially staying in “their home”. Are they unhappy to see you, are they annoyed at your presence? That will certainly accentuate any flaws the place you’re staying at has, But staying at a place where you're greeted by someone who is warm & welcoming, especially after a very long drive - you can easily overlook the little things. Amber is definitely one of those amazing people Red Lion should hold onto, if they can - she’s one of those hard to find good help. The hotel room itself was a bit dated, but still quite clean and quiet, beds were comfortable and the price was right. Management was incredibly kind as well - apologetic for the slightly limited breakfast due to the kitchen remodel they are undergoing - they still had waffles though! Definitely would stay here again.

First room I was given keys to somebody else was already in. I opened the door and he was just standing there. Bit of an awkward thing but I apologized and went back to the front desk. Eh, it was definetly an older hotel. Very dated but I must say it was clean for it being so vintage. The staff was 5 Star all the way. As soon as you mention any need they immediately get right to it. The staff was probably the best part of the stay. That type of hospitality isn’t too common these days.

It was the night of a popular concert. The hotel staff refused early check ins which resulted in a line out the door starting at 3 pm. I was in that line an hour waiting to check in. I’m sure it made many people late for the concert, luckily we made it on time. That should have been handled a lot better than it was especially considering the frequency of concerts in that area.

Beds were decent and the room was pretty clean. There was an unpleasant odor for both days we spent there. Musty? Moldy? The breakfast offerings were minimal: dry cereal, waffles, toast. I hoped for fresh fruit and yogurt and was disappointed.

The outside was rundown compared to the online pictures. The rooms were OK but a bit dirty. The hotel didn't have a good feeling to it and we didn't sleep well because the beds were uncomfortable. The breakfast was not great. I wouldn't stay here again.

Rundown. Keys demagnetize after every use. You can't get in the back of the building after 10 so you have to walk all the way around to the front . There is no coffee in the rooms. I didn't even get a washcloth. There aren't even Bibles in the nightstand. What kind of hotel doesn't have Bibles in the stand? Just demolish this place and start over.

Older hotel need many updates. Staff was limited at night and early in the morning. I stayed two nights and didn’t have any service. Also only one towel set in the room. Price was good but there is a lot of competition in the area that I will be checking out from now on.

The bathroom overhead did not work but other than that it was fine, overpriced for an older property. In addition there was an alarm set probably by a previous booked appointment and night staff could not help turn it off which woke me at 5 am
