I was denied check in upon arrival at Red Roof Inn due to having 2 dogs. We wound up going to a competitor close by and getting a room for the night. I read their policy about being let friendly and not charging extra for pets before booking. However, I didn't see anything about a number limit. I was iffy about trying this hotel in the first place and I won't try again.

Pros: room size, clean, furniture, beds, bathroom, TV, wifi, new mini-fridge, new microwave, climate control. Parking lot very well lit. Room Cons: no coffee/maker, horrible bright white light bulbs - Soft White bulbs are comfortable and should be used. The sketchy: 1. Lobby seemed to be permanently closed. Instead, had to go to a tiny, scary back room and use a small bank-style window to check in/out. 2. Took a good 15 minutes to check in, and I was the only one there, at 4 pm. Woman behind the glass just disappeared with my license, then credit card, for 5 minutes at a time. 3. First night there, around 3:30 am, a group of people occupied the room next to me and proceeded to yell, slam doors, curse, run in and out, and generally have some kind of loud "party" in and out of the room. This lasted until about 6:30 am. All was quiet when I left my room at 10:00 am, I don't even know if they were still in there or not. 4. On the third night, I returned to the hotel at midnight and had to drive through three police cars worth of cops, and other people. I don't know what was going on, but it didn't seem good. I would not stay here again because of the unsettling goings-on, and people, in and around it.

I liked that there was a security guard patrolling. I’m was not happy with the fact that the room (131) Was very rundown. The bottom drawer cabinet was off and laying on the floor. The bed was so- lumpy and uneven. I was there for a dog show- and I certainly Expected more from a Red Roof Inn - usually so spacious and clean and refreshed- for the value.

I checked in and when I walked in my room i immediately saw roaches. The room was dirty there was hair all over the bed. The door didn’t seal completely. The bathroom was nasty. I couldn’t even stay there. They did give me my money back though.

The staff was friendly and the room itself was clean but it smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. I also paid for a room with a mini fridge and a microwave, I don’t have a mini fridge or a microwave in my room. I will never stay at this hotel again and I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends or family.

It's a small room, but it's fine for an overnight stay. It was a king room and we asked for an extra pillow. They said they had none to spare even though there were several empty rooms. It was difficult to keep the room at a comfortable temperature but you get what you pay for. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable enough and we saw no bugs

The room was decent. Fire alarm was hanging off the wall. The shower head was not connected to the shower hose. The room smelled clean and I didn't see any bugs like I read in other reviews. For the price, the room was great.

This is a very date motel in a not-so-great part of town. Even the superior king room is very small. You almost can't shut the bathroom room with you inside it. The bathtub is so small, you can't even put your feet side to side. The mattress was the worse I've ever slept on for a motel/hotel. The sparks coming out of the hair dryer were the icing on thie regretable cake.Staff were present and did the bare minimum. Not even a "good morning". I don't know how this has 3.4 stars average rating.

Check in was not normal as previous times longer time to check in I was the only one in line and pre registered with a credit card still took 25 mins people came in and left because it took so long! No remote control and tv did not work this has been the second time I stayed here (this will be my last) that something did not work and the trash that hangs around don’t even stay there were loud and pacing all night this was a horrible experience and I will never stay at this one again! It seems more like an extended stay with trash!!

We have stayed here at least five or six times in the past few years. We have never had a problem. Front desk staff is quick and kind. If you have a problem, they seem quick to resolve it from what we have noticed. We will continue to patron this hotel.

If you need a place to stay for the night that has basic necessities this place is great. Are there bells and whistles? No, but I can say with certainty that my needs were met. The desk in the room was nice, the AC control was excellent, the beds might be uncomfortable for people who are less heavy. I consider myself to be heavy, so the spring of the bed didn’t bother me as much, though I kind of feel it right now. That is to say, you might feel it the next day if it does affect you. there was plenty of lighting in the room, they were plenty of towels and regular hot hotel goodies. My room did not have a microwave or refrigerator, but it had the space for a microwave or refrigerator. I’m not sure if that means that it was removed or what, but it would’ve been nice to have those perks. in general, the surrounding area was safe. Every now and then there were people hanging out by a room door for a couple of minutes, which is not my style, so I was definitely cautious around those people, but the environment was relatively safe. There weren’t a ton of people hanging out around. in terms of noise, all I heard a little something here and there, the walls were relatively soundproof, and there was no noise from outside of my room or beside that kept me from sleeping or working. Had some trouble finding my room. The way the buildings run in terms of rooms makes no sense, but I did find my room eventually.

The location was really busy with alot of in and out traffic on the parking lot all night long. The room was ok as far as comfort but needed a good cleaning and refreshed paint eapecially in the bathroom.

Safety! Selling drugs in the back. People living on premises. Not sanitary. Plumbing backed up. Ac not freezing but cool outside so not the worst part of it. I brought my 15 year old to a competition at Greensboro arena and felt extremely unsafe. Brought our belongings to and from the venue each day because of the surroundings of people that were there. Not a family environment. Would not recommend families to stay there.

Lobby was closed so no breakfast. Not so safe property. Had someone knock on our door at 4 am saying there was a call from our room to front desk. Low water pressure, towels were hard.

Cost was good. On-line it stated hotel is .8 mile to coliseum and it was1.5 miles. Took three trips to lobby to get a remote that workded. Vendinging was a joke, 2 selections in the drink machine, day old coffee.

3 oclock check in means 3 oclock, being literally 5 min early instead of a smile they pointed at the clock. By 3 there were 8 other people in the box to get out of the heat. Beds were horrible, may as well been sleeping on the springs themselves. No working ice machines in the 2nd building, no water in the vending machine neither, tap water was room temp at best. Door to the room looked like it had been kicked in at some point, latch lock was hanging by a screw. Still using old key cards that demagnetize so mind which pocket you keep it in.

Pros: room size, clean, furniture, beds, bathroom, TV, wifi, new mini-fridge, new microwave, climate control. Parking lot very well lit. Room Cons: no coffee/maker, horrible bright white light bulbs - Soft White bulbs are comfortable and should be used. The sketchy: 1. Lobby seemed to be permanently closed. Instead, had to go to a tiny, scary back room and use a small bank-style window to check in/out. 2. Took a good 15 minutes to check in, and I was the only one there, at 4 pm. Woman behind the glass just disappeared with my license, then credit card, for 5 minutes at a time. 3. First night there, around 3:30 am, a group of people occupied the room next to me and proceeded to yell, slam doors, curse, run in and out, and generally have some kind of loud "party" in and out of the room. This lasted until about 6:30 am. All was quiet when I left my room at 10:00 am, I don't even know if they were still in there or not. 4. On the third night, I returned to the hotel at midnight and had to drive through three police cars worth of cops, and other people. I don't know what was going on, but it didn't seem good. I would not stay here again because of the unsettling goings-on, and people, in and around it.

It was clean, nothing was in good condition. Things in the room worked, but it was working and clean is all. Gaps in flooring, ac installed crooked, very outdated units. The vending machines were broken, and honestly offered no amenities nor any service other than a security girl that was very attentive and polite. Hope I never end up paying that much for that little again....
