I gave overall a 4 only because there was a couple things that was a little. The beds were not comfortable. Also there is no microwave in the rooms, they do have at a $10 cost per day keep that in mind. They also have some in the dinning room downstairs. The elevator was down (call ahead to check) but they do help you bring your stuff up if you need to. Beside that my stay was good. Friendly service, breakfast was good with many choices. Pool/ jacuzzi was good and clean. Plenty of parking. Clean hotel, they will come and clean everyday your room if you choose to.

Elevator has been down for two weeks and the hotel staff never contacted us to let us know that the elevators would not be operating for our stay. We were on the 3rd floor. The fitness center was not open. The attached restaurant was closed for maintenance. The carpeting was ripped out of all of the stairways. Breakfast was very limited options. Would not recommend this hotel. Staff didn’t offer a discount due to lack of amenities either.

Pool jacuzzi and gym were closed for reconstruction. Breakfast was horrible. The staff were friendly but not helpful.

The hot tub was closed the first night, open for the remaining three nights, however the bubble feature did not work. The pool was nice. Things were clean. The room was lovely and big. I only had housekeeping come and make up the room one day out of a four night stay. When I mentioned this with the front desk, they apologized but did nothing. I don’t know why this happened, I would have liked the room freshened. The air conditioning is loud, but works. Think Frozen… I requested an extra duvet as the a/c was set to 61 F the day I arrived, the room was frigid. Front desk staff while friendly, spend all their time in an office off to the side. You wait for many minutes for them to come address you when you stand at the front desk. Breakfast was lackluster, but enough to help you start your day. You’ll likely need a morning snack though before lunch. The restaurant next door looks closed and abandoned. The motel seems to cater to tradesmen, construction crews etc. many large trucks in the lot- and they park up close to the building instead of further back in the lot so that families could park closer. The room was fine for what I needed, a clean bed to rest. I wasn’t in the hotel other than to sleep. I’m also a hockey mom and I’ve stayed in way worse. If you are sensitive about your hotel experience, go elsewhere. If you just want an (outdated) but clean place to rest your head, and maybe a dip in the pool/ hot tub, try it. The price was right for what I needed/ got.

The pool was ICE cold. The hot tub was not even room temperature with the jets broken. My kids were VERY disappointed. Also, the room saod sleeps 5, but only 2 beds without a rollaway or a pull out chair or recliner....but they require you to pay additional fee to use the cot (also their phone system is down so you have to text for help)

Pool was closed and that is the reason I booked 4 rooms for my entire family with 9 grand kids

Elevator was down and was promised 1st floor and then they could not oblige to their words. Expedia also just ran me around in circle saying we understand without doing anything accept passing me onto another agent 8 times. Nothing was ever resolved. Pool was freezing cold. Looks like the restaurant next door is closed down. Tub was rusty. A lot of road construction around the property but that not their fault. The Hotel served its purpose but will book elsewhere next time.

But being that I was traveling from Florida to Michigan, didn’t think I’d need a suit this time of year. Also close proximity to Gun Lake Casino. If I was ever in the area again, would definitely stay here.

Hallways muddy carpet, rusted tub in the bathroom, vent in the bathroom very, very dusty, we had to wipe it clean, good and comfortable bed and good breakfast.

The rooms needs to be updated badly. Wallpaper coming off, hole in the ceiling, caulking was awful. Not cleanly. Would not come back.

Overall, staff was friendly, rooms were clean but need updating (wallpaper is peeling, rust stain in tub), and elevator was broken, stairway was unfinished, and stairwell smelled of cigarettes. Felt we should have been discounted for elevator since they placed us on third floor and we had to haul our luggage up the unfinished stairs.

If I have any complaint at all, it would be that there were no microwaves in the rooms. I guess for such a nice place, I wish they had them.

Pretty good for the price, property was clean outside the hotel, quiet area outside, nice outside shopping outlet mall right around the corner, right off the highway, only thing I would complain about is the breakfast times are bad it ends at 9 am from monday-friday and the breakfast is limited, its barely even breakfast to be honest, i went there and left and just got food outside. The second thing I would complain about is the creeking from the room above me would wake me up in the early morning and you would hear it at night too. Very annoying so maybe ask to be on the fourth floor to avoid creeking from the floors above you. Other than that it was good for the price.

I like I like that the room was clean the breakfast was pretty good. I didn't like that we got no maid service, the pool was very cold and the hot tub jets did not work very well at all also you could hear people walking very loudly in the room above us the floors were very noisy

Nice one night stay. Comfortable bed and room, quiet hotel with a nice breakfast. Would recommend and visit again. Staff was professional too.

Very run down, holes in carpet thru to the cement underneath. Average clean level at best. Very noisy AC but it did work well. Creepy dark hallways. Cheap but didn't feel comfortable at surroundings would not stay here again. Seemed like lots of singles not many families staying here.

Room was nice. No tv control instructions. No Curtains to block out outside light. Very nice staff.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. The only thing is that the WiFi was poor so couldn’t connect in my room.

The person who checked us in barely said anything - just asked for id and credit card. Then when he was finished checking me in, didn’t tell me my room number, where the elevator was, info about breakfast; literally nothing aside from have a nice day. The bed was very uncomfortable, the air conditioner smelled musty when I turned it on and it made a terrible squeaking noise as well as was just plain LOUD.

Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was convenient and stay was pleasant.

Check-in went well, no friendly greeting from the clerk, just “checking in?” and he had bad B.O. No friendly greeting from any staff. Not rude, just indifferent. Room was clean, bed was firm just as I like it! Breakfast mediocre; mini waffles, bread products, tiny prepackaged sandwiches, yogurt, oatmeal, oranges, apples. Sufficient. Right across from Starbucks and Tanger Outlets shopping so that’s nice. Overall good, just nothing to make it stand out. Times are tough. (Our car brakes went out last night. This morning Hilltop Auto got us in first thing to fix them for our trip home. Very professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend them!

Our stay was great. The breakfast was good, the pool was nice and our room was comfortable and clean. The problem has occurred after the stay - the hotel has essentially charged my card again for the stay that was already paid through hotels.com, I’ve called several times to get this fixed and the manager is never in and has not returned my phone calls. The front desk staff are unable to explain the charges and are unable to help. This has soured our experience and caused us more money by overdrafting our account for unexpected charges.

When we checked in, we were assigned a 4th floor room. We walked to the elevator to find out it was out of order (staff had not told us this). I am disabled and walk with a cane. I can not walk up 4 flights of stairs. We went back to the front desk, no apology from staff, and were reassigned to a 1st floor room...we walked into it to find that it had not been cleaned - dirty towels on the bathroom floor, trash in the basket. We again had to go back to the front desk. Again, no apology. We were reassigned to a 2nd floor room (I agreed that I could do one flight of stairs). We went to the stairwell to find that it was disgusting....all flooring was removed so it was bare dirty concrete. no signs about construction or anything. This 2nd floor room was clean. But we had to call the front desk for a clogged toilet later that evening, and the phone did not work. We will never stay here again nor do we recommend it to anyone.

Asked for a Courtesy of canceling reservation due to a snow storm that I was unaware of and the Manager or Front Desk Agent Jessica or whom ever she is refused to refund Expedia after several times. I was not willing to risk my life to drive 2 hours in a blizzard and their front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful, after telling several agents no. The manager refused to speak with me directly. First and last time booking this disgusting hotel. Which is why I only stay with popular chains like Marriott and Hilton.

New hotel! Very nice and close to highway without noise.

New, clean, quiet. Located across from the outlet mall and not much else around but was close to where I was working.

We had a nice stay. It was central to what we wanted to do and quiet.

Hotel is in a great location near the Tanger outlet, and very easy access on and off of 131. Everything was clean and we had a nice stay. The elevator was not working, but it was not a big issue for us to use the stairs. The restaurant connected to the hotel is not open anymore. The front desk said it closed down 6 months ago, so the food and drink credit Expedia offered was useless, but again, not a big issue. There is a Culver's just down the road, and a couple places in the Tanger outlet, so still some dinner options. Over all it was a decent hotel and we would stay there again.

Clean room on a quiet floor. The hotel is conveniently located to Grand Rapids and close enough to drive to Lake Michigan. I would stay there again.

Great location to a Tangers Outlet. Lobby not as impressive as some. Rooms are very attractive and have plenty of room. Loved the king size bed. Breakfast had lots of choices. Check in time was 3:00pm. Check out time was 12:00 noon which was the best. No rushing around. Breakfast was open to 10:00am. Highly recommend.

Convenient to shopping.

What a fantastic hotel to say in while in the GR area. Perfect striking distance of anything local attraction including shopping, with the Tanger Outlets directly across from the property to 10 minute drive to John Ball Zoo or downtown GR in general. Also (1 hour) with the beach in Grand Haven or Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo. Great in hotel restaurant and the pool/hot tub are always clean and comfortable.

Easy checkin. Nice restaurant right next door. Minutes from a great outlet mall. Rooms were a bit outdated but clean. Bed was firm. Breakfast was minuscule and very crowded. Coffee was excellent. Looked like a very nice pool, typical of a Baymont. Would stay there again if the need ever arises.

Attached restaurant has been closed for reno for at lease 5 weeks with no known restart. Elevator service was down for repairs. Breakfast food offerings were underwhelming (except for the donuts :-)

Very recently renovated and nicely done. They struggled a bit to keep the breakfast food stocked, but otherwise all good.

We stayed three nights for a trip to Michigan’s adventure. Hotel is fine, nothing over the top. Staff excellent. The major issue is ending breakfast at 9am is absurd. It will most likely stop us from coming back as I’d rather my children not have to rush to wake up to eat after a long day of exploring.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff that checked me in a few minutes early were friendly, efficient and funny. This is the first hotel where I was asked which floor I would like for my room. They gave me the pertinent information i.e. breakfast times, wi-fi and gave me a $10 dollar gift card to the attached restaurant/pub. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The only negative is that the A/C unit was a bit loud. Overall the room and hallways were clean. The pool area was quite nice with plenty of towels for everyone swimming. The breakfast was good for me. They had a waffle machine which seemed to back up the guests a little, but they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal and juice. Everything was stocked including the coffee area. Check out was quick and the young lady told me that I would receive my receipt via email and thanked my for staying. I felt very appreciated as a customer.

Elevators weren't working. Stairs were bare and looked like they were being renovated. Breakfast was minimal. They did have a waffle maker, toast , fruit, and small containers of yogurt.

Check in was great, the lady who helped us even let us pick the location of our room which was a first for me, and much appreciated. The room was very clean. Had full size bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner mounted on the wall in the shower which is a game changer for me. The breakfast was not very iimpressive but we made do with bagles. The pool and hot tub are newly redone. Overall great stay. The adjoining restaurant is not open.

It was convenient for the shopping. The breakfast was okay but needed a meat option and fresh fruit.
