Superior staff, comfortable bed, great shower products, good breakfast, cute little gym. Elevators were down so I had to use service elevator, pretty dirty. Also, carpets smelled like previous water damage. Hotel definitely needs some upgrades.

The only elevators that are working are the service elevators. Ive been told they have been broken for over a year. The pool is excellent.

Nice room and very quiet. It was difficult to find the hotel, even with directions. We were disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for the season , it the end I’d September in Texas and it was 94 degrees out.

The hallway and rooms smelt musky and moldy. There were stains on everything and everything needs an update. The pool area was a nice set up but the fact of wrist bands and signing in was ridiculous. Rules say children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. I have 16/14/5/3 year old kids. The fact only 4 wrist bands per room is insane with no exceptions and the lady that checked us in was very rude about it. The breakfast was at least good for a hotel breakfast. The ac unit did not cool the room very well at all. Overall I would not ever stay here again unless some major changes were made and updated.

Although parking was a bit scarce due to the many outside events going on in the hotel’s ballroom & conference rooms daily, our overall stay was very pleasant. Complimentary breakfast was the highlight of our stay. It was outstanding. Also the bar and pool staff were really nice and professional. I’ll definitely be staying again when I visit the area.

The carpet in the room was wet. Also, there was some sort of bug/bugs in the bed. Told the gentleman about this when I checked out. Showed him a picture. He said he would tell housekeeping.

The woman who checked me in on Thursday afternoon (9/11/2025) was pleasant and professional. That's about where the positive experience ended. Upon walking to my room, all I could smell in the courtyard and hallways of the hotel was cigarette smoke and the very strong odor of marijuana. Bags of food trash lined the hallway in front of nearly every room...and were still there the next day. Do not let the pictures on the website fool you, this property looks nothing like what is being presented. You will not feel safe on this property, especially if you have to go retrieve something from your car in the parking lot at night. I can not reiterate how thick the smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana was enough, it was so thick in the hallways that it permeated through the walls & door into my room. The final icing on the cake for my stay was noticing used condoms & wrappers behind the nightstand next to the bed in my room (358). I have pictures of the condoms incase proof is needed. Hands down the worst and most unsafe hotel experience I have ever had.

Check in was great, friendly staff. Room smelled a little musty, bathroom water in shower was completely BROWN even after running for 5 minutes, it just got worse. Free breakfast buffet was great, staff was rude. I'm not sure she had a long morning or what. No one was there to seat us, so we went found her, no big deal. She seemed to be frustrated, it was no clean tables so we waited. The lady in the coffee shop told us go sit ourselves, with an attitude. We explained we were just waiting for a clean table. the table was cleared but she didnt wipe it, just went on to clean another table so again no biggie we wiped it. We sat for a few minutes, she was the only waitress. Went got food and waited a bit longer She just kept clearing tables. Asked when she had time just for coffee and water. She still seemed unhappy. When she did bring it we just didn't ask for anything else. Unfortunately they have to bring you all beverages so we just went without refills or asking for anything else. Glad it was just a 1 night stay. Checkout staff again was great!

I stayed in 3 different rooms because I extended my stay. I like the hotel, however I stayed because I thought each room would have the same comfort like the first. The first room was amazing and I loved it so much, I extended my stay and tried the cabana room, big mistake. The cabana room was like a cheap hotel and seemed as if it was the same property. The outside view of the pool was nice, I will admit that. After that, I moved back to the floor I was previously on and that room was okay, however it needed some work. The shower head was awful and the bed sucked. I will return only if I can get a room like the very first one. The hotel as a whole was nice and the staff was EXCELLENT! The King Suites awesome, I can't recommend anything else, sorry!

This is a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. Like most hotels, the property and lobby are much better than the rooms. So let me get right to the room. The beds were soft but comfortable. The shower/bathtub was moderately small. I had a balcony overlooking the pool (#357) and the view was nice, except there was a big palm tree in the way. But I could still see the pool and cabanas. I did like the fact that I could smoke on the balcony. There were 2 chairs and a little table with an ashtray. The description of the temperature control is inaccurate. There isn’t a thermostat on the wall for central air. It's a standard wall mount a/c unit by the balcony door. My only complaint really is that the closet doors don't close all of the way and the room service took too long and was very expensive. There's only one lady that worked in the kitchen. She did the cooking, prep, and delivery of the food. The hotel is definitely understaffed. As to the safety of the hotel. There is a security guard there. But the fact that they need one speaks loudly about the surroundings. I returned from dinner one night very late and got lost trying to find the elevator. While I was asking the person at the front desk for help, this guy approached me, who appeared to be gay, and said that he would escort me to my room as he winked at me. I chose to have the security guard do that, but this guy followed me and the security guard up to the third floor where my room was.

The staff was cordial. The room was clean and roomy. The bed needs a new mattress as the edges are fine, but tends to slope towards the middle. However, I slept comfortably. The carpet on the 7th floor is tattered and worn. The hotel may be in the middle of updating. Parking was a long walk, but I needed that.

The Hotel was comfortable the rooms were large but had small double beds, which made no sense when there was plenty of room for bigger beds. Overall the Hotel is looking tired and could do with a lick of paint and some new furniture. Staff are friendly. Hotel is located next to the !-10 highway, so you have noisy traffic 24hrs a day.

Everything BUT the room was elegant at the Elegante Hotel. The room felt lifeless and offered minimal accommodations like nowhere in the room was a usb plug-in. Even the funky falling apart motels in the hood gave usb ports. lol I mean this room was plain with outdated furniture and to the bathroom WAS REALLY SMALL. Oh but you walk downstairs into the lobby and everything is sparkling and up to date. Fancy conference rooms I have no access to is why I paid $113 for a room. Honestly I feel cheated.

Had a blast. The hotel was very nice and definitely homey feeling. The staff was exceptional especially Keith. Thanks for all your help! Absolutely loved the king Tower rooms. Beautiful view.

Great Hotel and Staff..Chandler & Cutter at the front desk are Elite Employees and the main reason i will return

At the time the elevators did not work. We had to use the service elevators. Despite that little problem the staff and the rooms were amazing. Every one from the breakfast staff helping you to the house keeping.every staff member we interacted with on the service elevator was so nice and helpful

Chandler the check in host was very accommodating and went well above expectations. Room Service was great, House Keeping was great. Breakfast was very good.

Reception was atrocious.I arrived soaking wet through from a downpour at 2:50.The gentleman on reception told myself, my husband and grandson to “wait over there”. After waiting 20 minutes and watching him check in 4 other people I returned to line up - utterly ridiculous and ruined our experience at the hotel. The person was clearly a person in need of power and control and should not be working in the service industry!!!

Compared to my previous visit, this experience was exceptional—I would confidently give it five stars. Cutter provided outstanding service; he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and informative, making me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. I’d also like to commend Lashawnna for her impeccable work in maintaining my room. It was spotless and beautifully maintained, a true testament to her attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Thank you to the entire team for your hard work and dedication. I waited over an hour and a half at the front desk because the computer was running slow so the front desk clerk asked me to book the room on my phone . I did and she said there was no reservations for me but I received a itinerary number and was provided a receipt for the room on my phone. She put me in a room and as soon As I got in bed she called me to come to the front desk to sign a disclosure document. Then at check out we were late for a church service that we drove to beaumont texas for because a different lady said the computer was running slow and I had to wait to make sure everything was complete before I left the hotel. This is unacceptable and unprofessional service we were provided with.

I had a great stay at the MCM Elegante in Beaumont, Texas. I booked the room for my boyfriend’s birthday and he really enjoyed himself. Fun fact: My boyfriend realized that he lost his Apple Watch somewhere in the room/hotel and he and I were sure it was a goner. However, I get a call from the staff at the hotel and they found it!! So thankful!!

Poolside patio perfect, front desk host nice. However, due to moist from the weather and age of the property management and or owners could spruce up the place a bit, by painting, replacing the carpet or no carpet and using wooden lamps due to rust issues from climate, maybe steam cleaning upholster chairs, etc. Other than that the rooms are spacious and accommodating and good location. Overall, I rate the property a B minus.

The room smelled horribly like mildew and we could not enjoy the patio because it had water leaking down the whole time, and it was not the humidity. The bar said they were open from 4-10pm but was only open til 8. It was close to freeway but not restaurants or shopping. The commons areas were clean.

The Hotel was comfortable the rooms were large but had small double beds, which made no sense when there was plenty of room for bigger beds. Overall the Hotel is looking tired and could do with a lick of paint and some new furniture. Staff are friendly. Hotel is located next to the !-10 highway, so you have noisy traffic 24hrs a day.

Nice room and very quiet. It was difficult to find the hotel, even with directions. We were disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for the season , it the end I’d September in Texas and it was 94 degrees out.

I originally booked the room through Hotels.com and when I got to the hotel to check in, they were not able to find the reservation. After sometime, they said they could get us in a room, but we would have to come back in an hour, which we did. As soon as I walked into the room, I knew it was not the room that I had reserved, so I had to go back to the front desk and get it all sorted out. The staff was super friendly. I loved the room and the layout. My only complaint about the room was there needs to be at HVAC vent in the area that has the bed. It gets hot or cold quick without a vet in there. The hotel is only about an hour and a half from my hometown, so I told my boyfriend that we should book a little weekend getaway as soon as it gets warmer. They have s cute little pool area with some cabanas.

I’m sorry I wanted to give this hotel 5 stars since a co-worker recommended this hotel. The best part of my stay was when I first arrived. The front desk was amazing and got me checked in before 4pm. It went downhill from there. The water in the bathtub was brown and there was no water pressure. The buffet was very adequate. The scrambled eggs were dry and horrible. The lady that waited on us was rude when I also asked if I could also have OJ with my coffee and when I asked for cream she said they had very little and then we saw she brought a plate full of creamers to another guest. I understand the hotel is older but this should not have happened. I travel to Beaumont for business and unfortunately I will not be staying there again.

Breakfast was the best part of our stay. The room wasn't particularly clean, there was a sharp screw just laying on the carpet that I found with my foot in the middle of the night. Dated buildings, just seemed overall run-down. Not at all like the pictures.

They didn't get us checked in until 1.5 hours after check in time. The pool closed at 8, which means less swim time due to the late check in. The bar didn't open until 4 and closed at 10 on a Saturday night. The food was horrible, no flavor. & the hallway & room smelled horrible.

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from Lamar the courtesy shuttle transported by parents and grandparents and family members which made it easy for us to be together and not have to worry about mobility. Free breakfast and the ribs at the restaurant has made this my “go to “ location for future visits .

This is a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. Like most hotels, the property and lobby are much better than the rooms. So let me get right to the room. The beds were soft but comfortable. The shower/bathtub was moderately small. I had a balcony overlooking the pool (#357) and the view was nice, except there was a big palm tree in the way. But I could still see the pool and cabanas. I did like the fact that I could smoke on the balcony. There were 2 chairs and a little table with an ashtray. The description of the temperature control is inaccurate. There isn’t a thermostat on the wall for central air. It's a standard wall mount a/c unit by the balcony door. My only complaint really is that the closet doors don't close all of the way and the room service took too long and was very expensive. There's only one lady that worked in the kitchen. She did the cooking, prep, and delivery of the food. The hotel is definitely understaffed. As to the safety of the hotel. There is a security guard there. But the fact that they need one speaks loudly about the surroundings. I returned from dinner one night very late and got lost trying to find the elevator. While I was asking the person at the front desk for help, this guy approached me, who appeared to be gay, and said that he would escort me to my room as he winked at me. I chose to have the security guard do that, but this guy followed me and the security guard up to the third floor where my room was.

Check in was great, friendly staff. Room smelled a little musty, bathroom water in shower was completely BROWN even after running for 5 minutes, it just got worse. Free breakfast buffet was great, staff was rude. I'm not sure she had a long morning or what. No one was there to seat us, so we went found her, no big deal. She seemed to be frustrated, it was no clean tables so we waited. The lady in the coffee shop told us go sit ourselves, with an attitude. We explained we were just waiting for a clean table. the table was cleared but she didnt wipe it, just went on to clean another table so again no biggie we wiped it. We sat for a few minutes, she was the only waitress. Went got food and waited a bit longer She just kept clearing tables. Asked when she had time just for coffee and water. She still seemed unhappy. When she did bring it we just didn't ask for anything else. Unfortunately they have to bring you all beverages so we just went without refills or asking for anything else. Glad it was just a 1 night stay. Checkout staff again was great!

Pillows are tiny throw pillows that are puffed up like rocks that your head will not fit on and leave a crick in your neck. The room or AC smelt bad from either smoke or moldy AC. Was suppose to be smoke free place. Bathroom was like a road side motel. Blankets small and hallways hot, smelly, seemed dingy. Lobby only thing nice. But at least a place to sleep and curtains kept it dark. It was a bed. No parking because construction on add on instead of upgrading what they already have.

Room smells like mold. Hits you in the face like a ton of bricks. Don’t expect a hot shower. You’ll get room temperature at best. Staff will look at you stupid when you ask for them to fix it. Then will lie directly to your face and refuse to acknowledge the problem. The staff could use a remodel alongside the building. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The staff was great. The issues are that the property is at the early stages of renovation. Hallways were hot. A distinct odor was in the hallway and room. No TV service at all. Water in room had a rotten egg/sulfur odor. Lights began flickering in the room. I left at midnight and found another room at another hotel. I didn't even bother with trying to get a refund. I was in room 608. There was also suspicious activity in the room across the hall...the door remained propped open the whole time I was there and there was clearly someone in there. My deadbolt would not lock either; i felt very uneasy and unsafe.

While we were unable to complete our reservation due to plumbing troubles during their renovations, the staff was exceptionally helpful in cancelling our accomodations and were very kind. Especially Amber and Deja the night of the reservation, and Ben and Dorothy when I had to finalize the refund. They were all beyond gracious and demonstrated professionalism, fine etiquette and exemplified the meaning of hospitality. I have always wanted to stay at the Elegante, and this was supposed to be the trip that happened. Because they handled this regrettable situation with such courtesy and finesse, my esteem for the property has not diminished at all and has in fact, grown fonder. I will absolutely return to this grand dame of Beaumont and recommend it to friends and family who visit.
