An older hotel which has been remodeled. Upon arrival at 2:30 PM, we were told that there were no early check ins and we had to wait until 3:00 PM. At 3, the lobby was filled with people checking in and some being told that their room was not yet cleaned. It appeared that the hotel was very short staffed from house cleaning, front desk, and maintenance. The room was nice and remodeled. I appreciated that there was no carpet. The bed was okay, but not the most comfortable. There was quite a bit of space in the king room, which felt like 2 rooms due to the door closing off the bedroom from the living area. The walls are very thin, as we had a noise complaint called on us for my 4 year old talking. The next morning we got up and had the continental breakfast which was a “bagel bar”, cereal, muffins, fruit, and yogurt. We decided to go swimming and this was the nail on the coffin. The pool opened at 9 am, which is the time we arrived. Several people were waiting in the hall, and soon told us they were waiting for maintenance to open the door. When maintenance returned, he used a MacGyvered metal coat hanger to open the door handle on the other side because none of the hotel key cards worked. Upon entering the pool area there were large pieces of food crumbs on the floor. In the pool, it was worse. There was so much food floating in the water. The water was cold (considering it was inside). The hot tub was lukewarm and the jets did not work. Definitely not staying here again!

Road construction meant we had to drive way out of our way and double back from a different direction in a town we aren't familiar with. At booking it says "Free Breakfast ", but at checkin we were told that meant they offered a bagel bar for breakfast. We found out that meant there were a few plain bagels, a toaster and 2 types of packages of cream cheese. The rooms are clean, but very basic, much like Motel 6. The elevator was not shut down, but should have been because it did not work. We had to haul our bags down the stairs. The bathroom in the lobby was out of paper towels and I had to use the toilet seat cover to dry my hands. It was obvious that i wasn't the only one who had to do that. The price was not high, but higher that I think it was worth.

The staff was great and the check in was quick and easy. The room was great with an open area. The temperature was great as well. The pool and spa was fantastic and relaxing. I would come here again.

Really nice and comfy hotel the rooms are really big with a separate living room area. Seems pretty new, not too much wear and tear. The bed was really comfortable. There's a huge indoor pool, the fitness center is very minimal. The free breakfast didn't have any hot foods just cereal, oatmeal, bagels, but at least there were some boiled eggs.

The stay was great although the floor in the rooms were very dirty. The tvs wouldnt turn on. And one of our rooms the AC didnt work but the hotel staff gave us a fan. The pool had pool noodles and balls so the children can play with but the jacuzzi didnt work. The beds are very conformable.

Staff was very friendly, the elevator wasn’t working, they don’t have toiletries in case you forget a toothbrush. Some of the toiletries in the room were out and when I asked they said they didn’t have any. The bathroom fan doesn’t work so bring an air freshener. The location was great! I don’t know if I will stay again. It was also very clean.

Room was nice & spacious. Everything was clean. Front desk clerks extremely helpful. Breakfast wasn’t great. Coffee wasn’t good. Orange juice tasted watered down. Got cereal from a container labeled honey nut Cheerios…that were just Cheerios. Mostly bread items to choose from. Not a lot of protein. So other than the breakfast, my stay was good! Oh, they did have items you could purchase it said…just didn’t want to pay.

Terrible! The bathroom was extremely dirty. We arrived very late and all we wanted to do was rest. The beds were unmade (or messy), and there was a lot of noise from the traffic/vehicles. The sofa bed is in very poor condition. Think twice before you book here.

There was no coffee maker in the room the way the details said there would be. I drink coffee all night because I am up with a teething baby, so it was very inconvenient.The coffee in the lobby when I checked in at about 9pm was cold, even though the employees said it I could get some anytime. If it was just for morning they should have said that. If it was for 24/7 use they should keep up with it. The shower stopper was broken. We had to use something to hold up the stopper while we showered. The couch was dirty with stains. We opened up the couch bed and there was about an inch smear of blood on the sheets. The windows in the room towards the inside of the hall, not to the outside, would not completely close so the light was coming in. The rooms are also not very sound proof. We could hear the other kids just taking and laughing on the other side of the hall from inside our own room.

This was a budget hotel with poor management. Arrived to homeless outside the door. The room was not clean-sticky bathroom floor, no hand soap, and dirty comforter. We had to use the sleeper sofa but no bedding. When we asked the desk for bedding, they gave us one pillow, a top sheet and comforter. They said they ran out of pillows. The tv in the room did not work and the faucet leaked.

The small living room, refrigerator, coffee maker and included breakfast I enjoyed, very much. Things I did not enjoy... Our room had a windo in the living area, that looked out into the hallway (indoor). A little odd, in my opinion. That and a large gap between the floor and the bottom of the door made noises from the main hallway loud in our room. Not necessarily the fault of the property, but there were an awful lot of unattended kids that were allowed to run up and down the hallway during our stay.

My family of four enjoyed the separate bedroom and "living space." Beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Area felt safe. Continental breakfast (not hot) was basically a bagel bar and cereal, but was adequate. Note: (1) in our room the hot and cold water in the shower were switched. My wife and daughter figured it out, but I left it on hot "just giving it time..." and wound up taking a cold shower. (2) Access to the location is difficult and confusing. The road to the hotel is called "Pan American Fwy NE" and so is the access road to the freeway, but they are not the same road. You have to turn at the gas station. Traffic on Montgomery Blvd is very heavy, so making a left turn from Montgomery onto the road to the hotel, or from the hotel making a left onto Montgomery was very difficult. Traffic would often block the intersection, so you just have to be patient and hope for considerate drivers to let you through.

The floor of our room was very nice. We liked the layout of the two room suite. It was a very comfortable affordable stay on our way to Flagstaff, Az. Checkout was easy and quick.

We were very pleased with our one night stay. Manuel the Manager was so polite and helpful. The rooms were perfect in space and cleanliness. I’m very comfortable and excited to use Spark when we travel

We were greeted by Barbara very polite lady. She was very friendly and advised us about the availability of breakfast in the morning. The different breakfast items etc, unfortunately when my family and I came downstairs for breakfast at 9:05 am they only had some cereal and a few bagels. The yogurt machine was out of yogurt and the hard boiled eggs were gone as well. We asked if there were any other options but unfortunately we didn’t get any. If you stay I recommend you go get breakfast early at 6am in order to get a better variety. The tub/shower combo was not working properly. We had to hold the drain stopper up because it would not stay open in order to drain the water.

Had to be switched from the first room because the bed was broken then the breakfast wasn’t as good as it use to be. Didn’t have a very good experience no body respects when people are trying to sleep slamming doors all night and morning then lobby doors were locked rang doorbell and representative wouldn’t open the door till we started knocking windows hard enough for representative to unlock the door. I am not happy with the experience at all.

Room was nice & spacious. Everything was clean. Front desk clerks extremely helpful. Breakfast wasn’t great. Coffee wasn’t good. Orange juice tasted watered down. Got cereal from a container labeled honey nut Cheerios…that were just Cheerios. Mostly bread items to choose from. Not a lot of protein. So other than the breakfast, my stay was good! Oh, they did have items you could purchase it said…just didn’t want to pay.

Staff was very friendly, the elevator wasn’t working, they don’t have toiletries in case you forget a toothbrush. Some of the toiletries in the room were out and when I asked they said they didn’t have any. The bathroom fan doesn’t work so bring an air freshener. The location was great! I don’t know if I will stay again. It was also very clean.

The room was very roomy and clean. Our issue was the lack of bedding available for our pull out, the front desk didn’t even have any. At check out the staff was mocking my husband in another language when he asked if there were any luggage carts

This place is nice. It’s clean, has comfortable-sized rooms, a pool, and easy parking. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of the lady Barbara who helps with breakfast. I went at 9:15am for some breakfast (breakfast ends at 10am), she was already taking everything down. There was no milk for the cereal, so I had to ask for some. By 9:50am, there was almost nothing left on the counter except for coffee. She was very rude when I asked for fruit and milk. I think if she’s in charge of breakfast, she should be more polite and friendly with guests.

My family of four enjoyed the separate bedroom and "living space." Beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Area felt safe. Continental breakfast (not hot) was basically a bagel bar and cereal, but was adequate. Note: (1) in our room the hot and cold water in the shower were switched. My wife and daughter figured it out, but I left it on hot "just giving it time..." and wound up taking a cold shower. (2) Access to the location is difficult and confusing. The road to the hotel is called "Pan American Fwy NE" and so is the access road to the freeway, but they are not the same road. You have to turn at the gas station. Traffic on Montgomery Blvd is very heavy, so making a left turn from Montgomery onto the road to the hotel, or from the hotel making a left onto Montgomery was very difficult. Traffic would often block the intersection, so you just have to be patient and hope for considerate drivers to let you through.

Very noisy air conditioning unit; non-smoking room smelled like old smoke; shampoo and soap dispenser wall attachments were broken; no hot food selection for breakfast and 3of4 cereal choices were kid’s cereal. If I had wanted a Super 8, I would have booked that. As a Hilton Honors member, Spark diminishes the Hilton Brand.

Road construction meant we had to drive way out of our way and double back from a different direction in a town we aren't familiar with. At booking it says "Free Breakfast ", but at checkin we were told that meant they offered a bagel bar for breakfast. We found out that meant there were a few plain bagels, a toaster and 2 types of packages of cream cheese. The rooms are clean, but very basic, much like Motel 6. The elevator was not shut down, but should have been because it did not work. We had to haul our bags down the stairs. The bathroom in the lobby was out of paper towels and I had to use the toilet seat cover to dry my hands. It was obvious that i wasn't the only one who had to do that. The price was not high, but higher that I think it was worth.

Hotel is clean and good location, room was big and clean, for $150 a night should have good breakfast not only milk juice and muffins they don’t specify anywhere its only half continental breakfast. I could easily stay a different Hotel with real breakfast included

Always stayed here when it was Best Western and was hoping for a good experience. First night the room upstairs had children running and jumping around and wanted to call the front desk. There was no phone in the room! The AC unit was really protruding into the bed that there was no air flow, we had to move the bed away from the intake vent. Went to get extra towels the next morning (4 of us in the room and only had 2 towels), and the workers all smelled like bad BO. From the front desk person to the housekeepers. The adhesive on the shampoo dispenser on the shower fell off and hit my daughter’s foot. The jets on the jacuzzi was not working and there were no pool towels. The furniture was cheap particle board, just shelves and no drawers. Definitely will not be staying here again.

Very disappointing stay, especially for the price we paid. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was cold. Our room lock stopped working, and I had to go down from the third floor to the lobby three separate times for new keys before maintenance finally came up about 30 minutes later and discovered the lock batteries needed to be replaced. Then our AC stopped working and we had to change rooms. We specifically paid for a balcony room, but the replacement room did not have a balcony, so we did not even receive the room type we paid for. Most of the staff we interacted with were also rude and unhelpful. The maintenance employee was the exception—he was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, with this many issues during one stay, I would not stay here again.
