Elevator wasn’t working and they were able to get me on 1st floor which was a necessity. Breakfast was actually good for hotel breakfast. Will be back.

Elevator was out of service - we got 2 double beds, not queens - breakfast was all way overcooked/burnt and out of order ice machine

Property has some construction going on, but that did not impact our stay other than some parking spots or taken by large dumpsters. Breakfast is very good and staff was very cordial.

Convenient, close to the interstate. We only stayed overnight, driving through the state. We had a restful & quiet night. Clean & spacious room, comfortable beds. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was good. The pool is not heated and a little smaller than we thought.

I was a little upset the pool was out of service, but Natasha at the front desk was so amazing, truly one of the nicest and most considerate people I’ve ever met. She saved us with helping us check in. Couldn’t thank her enough. And when I asked for help later in the afternoon for a highchair for my son she didn’t fuss and didn’t question a thing, she helped me no questions asked and I couldn’t be more grateful. Staff really made this hotel stay worth it.

We didnlt even stay as they had no parking. Had construction containers and equipment on 1/3 of the parking. We arrived at midnight and were driving a pick up truck pulling a uhaul trailer. They literally didn't even have a regular car spot let alone for what we had. Ridiculous

Clean, quiet, friendly. Just beware - the indoor pool is FREEZING in the winter (jan 2025). Like even my kids couldnt take it.

Hotel was under renovation. Elevator was down, gym was closed, ice machine wasn’t working, active construction was difficult to navigate. Hotel conditions should be made aware of on website so decision could be made as to wether or not to stay.

Room was very nice and clean. USB ports didn’t all work. With two teens with us it would have been nice if they all had worked. Pool was dingy and cold. Breakfast was amazing.

We felt unsafe upon late arrival in the parking lot, there was a leak in the lobby with buckets & towels, we slept in the room because it was late and when we woke up found a bedbug crawling on one of our beds. Had to bag all of out belongings and leave a portable crib behind due to fear of bringing them home.

Properties conveniently located by near 95 we use it many times prior to this stay. But this time something happened. I’m not sure if staff changed or ownership. First room we had was very filthy found old shoe soles underneath the furniture on the floor and old somebody’s brush hair comb stuck between cushions on the couch. Floor was filthy and Furniture had a lot of stains. We’ve had to ask to change the room.( Lady at front desk was very nice) Lots of broken things in the hotel, push buttons by the elevator banks broken, locks in the room don’t work properly. We’ve had a second floor room with windows all the way down to the floor, but curtains were run short 2ft off the floor , so people from the outside in the parking lot could see what’s in the room at night if you have light on. Would not use this hotel location anymore. Very disappointed.

Staff was friendly and professional, from the housekeepers to the front desk. Location was very convenient, with comfortable luxury beds and exceptionally clean bathrooms. We had a room issue when we arrived, but the night desk person was very helpful and gave us another room.

Access to the hotel was quick for the family, right off of 95. A couple food chains near by, Walmart down the street as well. Check in was quick, small lobby, there was a leak though from the ceiling by the little shop they have for snacks and amenities. Hallway leading up to the room had a faint cigarette smell. Room was spacious enough for our family of 4 (2 Kids under 10 and 2 Adults). The room was overall ok but my child dropped something on the floor near the headboard and when I went to pick it up I saw disgusting yellowish nail clippings, several of them, along with dirty dusty earplugs all behind the bed.

It was very damp, smelly, and not the cleanest place. They did have a big storm go by a day or two before - but it was really damp/wet in the room. Felt like the whole room had been sprayed down with water and was unable to dry. When I inquired at the desk about the dampness - she sighed and said - you know we just had a storm go by a few days ago. I'm not sure why it apparently rained in the room... Also surprised they still had rooms people could smoke in - made the room smell pretty off. Bathroom door stuck - maybe due to all the humidity and was relatively dirty, especially behind the door where all sorts of funk was living. I don't like outside access rooms either and maybe it was just me, but it didn't look that way from the pictures.

Mold musty smell in hallway and room, room was dusty and shower floor was sticky. People having party right outside my window after midnight, so I couldn’t sleep. Complimentary breakfast was good. Would not stay here again

Quiet room, early breakfast was good, good selection. Nice staff. Convenient to I95. Would stay there again. Only complaint was A/C in room was so noisy, so we turned it off, as it was ok with it off.

Rooms and bathrooms seemed to be newly renovated with modern touches. Nice and clean. Breakfast was great as well with many warm food options. Very close to I-95. Staff was friendly.

Absolutely wonderful stay. We had room 301. It was clean, spacious, comfortable beds. The bathroom was spotless. The water pressure in the shower was a little lower than usual, but nothing to take away a 5 star rating. The breakfast was hot and very good and the coffee was EXCELLENT. We were greeted by a very friendly reception desk employee, and checking out was just as friendly. We would not hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is friendly. The rooms are large, clean, recently updated, and the beds are comfortable. The problem with this hotel is the noise from the main road and the other guests. The walls don't seem to be insulated enough to block out the noise and the proximity to a main road leads to a lot of truck noise during the night.

Everything was great except we were on the 3rd floor & neither shower or sink never had hot, water, only luke warm at best. We let it rub for at 5 minutes.

No bedding was provided for the pullout, tried calling front desk but phone does not work… at all, went down to front desk to ask for bedding for pullout and was given 2 fitted sheets and a very thin blanket with no pillows… there were no pillows available because someone didn’t do their job is what I was told by the clerk at front desk.

Right off the highway. Tons of parking. Front desk was awesome. K ew my name as i walked in. Quick checkin. Room/bed great. Quick hot water. Good breakfast.

Check-in was fine. Staff were friendly but completely overwhelmed. Appeared to be 1 person working for a completely full hotel which meant the check-in desk was unmanned for about 30 min at bedtime. We’d have been in serious danger if there had been an emergency. Building needs serious attention and is arguably hazardous. Pool was green. There was a leak in the lobby ceiling right in the doorway of where the snack shop is so had to dodge dripping pipes to get a drink. No working room phones at all- front desk said they were “updating the system”. Room was also a dud. Toilet clogged immediately- there was no onsite staff to help so they gave my husband a plunger which didn’t work. They had a maintenance person called in which took about 30 min. He did fix it but told us there “wasn’t someone available” to come re-clean the bathroom floor which had been splashed with dirty toilet water. (I cleaned it myself with Clorox wipes). And since there was no phone, getting this sorted took multiple drips downstairs. The closet doors didn’t close fully. The fridge got cold ish. The pull out sofa was ok but there were no pillows and the hotel “ran out” of blankets so my daughter slept with 4 sheets on her instead The room appeared to be quite clean but given the state of the building and the room, it was hard to trust it. Overall, a huge disappointment. Go 15 down the road to the one in Roanoke Rapids- light years better!!

I stayed 9/7/24-9/8/24. Front desk clerk was very rude. I booked and paid through Expedia, my payment to Expedia went through (I even had my receipt) but the Expedia to the hotel payment was having issues going through. She made me call Expedia after driving 8 1/2 hours or she wasn’t allowing us to check in. After standing there going through a million phone prompts with Expedia she decided to call her manager. The manager said it was not an issue on my part and to let us check in and the hotel would call Expedia to straighten it out. This woman had awful customer service and clearly was not happy at her no . I will no longer stay at an IHG

When checking in, no one was at the front desk at all. I had to call the front desk while standing there in order for someone to come to check me in. I paid a higher rate and booked a single king bed room but when I got there, was given a room with two double queens. When I mentioned it to them at the front desk they said they were out of king bedrooms so I asked for the difference to be refunded, the woman at the front desk said I got it discounted through Expedia so I’m getting a good deal anyway and wouldn’t refund the difference. I ended up having to contact Expedia and Expedia asked for photos of the room and so I did that and got the difference added to my Expedia account. Then when it was time to checkout, they knocked on my door at 10:20 10:30 and 10:40. Checkout is at 11am and I had the do not disturb card on the outside of the door. Would never stay here again. My first and last ghetto experience at a holiday inn

I will be honest and say it might be because I was tired, but I felt the lady who checked us in was rude. I have a unique name and although my drivers license was in her possession, she asked me three times if I was the person. Finally, I reached in and tapped my license and said, yes, just like my license says. Overall though, we had a great experience. Breakfast and breakfast staff were great!!

We asked for couple of extra sheets. We never got them. Sent my daughter to the front office to follow up and no one was there. I called the front desk and no answer

I would give this hotel 20 stars if I could. From the front desk gentleman who was so professional and kind, to how clean the place was to how wonderful the breakfast was I will definitely be back.

Hotel is very clean- we have a King suite and the room is huge. We have stayed here previously and plan on coming back in the future. Very convenient to I95

Location is very good. Close to interstate. Close to other places to eat and gas stations. You will hear some traffic during the night but bearable if you need to go to sleep.

Just on the edge of town so it’s quiet not a lot of traffic but just a 5 minute ride down the road is casino and restaurants

Hotel was clean and staff was courteous. Good spot to stop while driving along I95. Only negative was limited dining in options in the area.

Room was large & very clean. Conveniently located off of 95

They had a nice indoor pool which was was hard to find since most places on our way up from Florida only had outdoor ones. Breakfast options were good and they even had gluten free bagels which I eat and I have not seen at other hotels.

Quick and easy check in. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was decent and breakfast attendant was very pleasant and checked on everyone. Would stay again if in the area.

The staff and the bedroom were lovely. The hot breakfast was bad. The coffee and juice machines were out of order. The omelets, sausages, potato tots and sawmill gravy were not warm enough. The oatmeal was lumpy. The biscuits were overcooked.

The stay was okay it was just the breakfast like the cooks didn’t watch the food it was burnt all 3 days I stayed the oatmeal was thick and the pancake maker kept saying reload bag when it was full

The room was clean. Location was convenient for our needs and plenty of dining options around the area. Breakfast provided at hotel was excellent with a variety of options. Would definitely stay again.
