The beds were very comfortable. The renovations are still in progress, but everything was very nice despite the on going work. Breakfast was great.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! I was sad, that they didn’t have scrambled eggs the next day, but the omelettes were just as good. I felt safe in the parking lot. It was very well lit. The staff was friendly and answered all questions, but I have to say my favorite part of the stay, was at the beds felt like marshmallows! I’m still trying to track down if it was the mattress or the liner on top!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! I was sad, that they didn’t have scrambled eggs the next day, but the omelettes were just as good. I felt safe in the parking lot. It was very well lit. Staff were awesome. Problem started when we got onto the second floor. It smelled like there had been a water leak. We get to our room and then find out that there is standing water on the tile just inside the door and some of the carpet is wet. I go down to the front desk to get some towels to clean it up and the staff decided to move us rooms. Breakfast was great.

Initially booked for one night.. checked into the room and it had a not so fresh smell.. I think it was the carpet because their rooms are always very clean but the carpet looked like it could use a good shampoo so I’m pretty sure that was the source..like something spilled on it and it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly..but I told the front desk and I wound up extending the stay and they put me in another room that was definitely more fresh..they made it right so the stay was excellent afterwards

I was charged twice! I have not received a refund! I paid Hotels.com but when I arrived at the hotel, it said my reservation was canceled. I DID NOT cancel my reservation. I live 3 hours away from this location so I had to pay for the room again! I paid double for one night!

The staff did a manificient job, contacting me even while on my flight. Check-in was smooth. Breakfast varied daily, was readily available, hot and fresh. There are multiple places with-in walking distance to eat. The area was quiet, even during July 4th.

We arrived very late and I was greeted with the best attitude and spirit by the young lady checking us in. I even commented on what a great mood she was in for so late at night. Everyone was friendly and very hospitable down to the maintenance man I shared an elevator with. Will definitely be staying there in the future.

Breatfast is terrible and the person who served during breakfast area.. literally shouting to the people dont take food like that.. she didn’t keep food proper way and when we asked she told that there is no food.. Literally all the kids got scared and didn’t take breakfast.. not sure Management aware of this..

The people made a stay at an ordinary HI Express an enjoyable stay. Every staff member was friendly and seemed intent on making us feel welcome. Also, the breakfast was really good. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The staff was friendly and answered all questions, but I have to say my favorite part of the stay, was at the beds felt like marshmallows! I’m still trying to track down if it was the mattress or the liner on top!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! I was sad, that they didn’t have scrambled eggs the next day, but the omelettes were just as good. I felt safe in the parking lot. It was very well lit. The staff did a manificient job, contacting me even while on my flight. Check-in was smooth. Breakfast varied daily, was readily available, hot and fresh. There are multiple places with-in walking distance to eat. The area was quiet, even during July 4th.

Breatfast is terrible and the person who served during breakfast area.. literally shouting to the people dont take food like that.. she didn’t keep food proper way and when we asked she told that there is no food.. Literally all the kids got scared and didn’t take breakfast.. not sure Management aware of this..

Staff was very friendly, rooms were nice, quiet and the lady who does the breakfast is so kind.The breakfast biscuits were probably the best I have ever eaten.Seriously!, .She even gave me a gift bag to take some goodies with me to eat after the funeral we were attending..morning and evening staff were very nice and friendly..Would stay there again..

The people made a stay at an ordinary HI Express an enjoyable stay. Every staff member was friendly and seemed intent on making us feel welcome. Also, the breakfast was really good. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The TV in 225 was not working, it kept saying connection issues. we didn't bother because we were staying for 2 nights. I also i think matts for the bathroom would be extremely helpful instead of using towels down to prevent from slipping.

We had a great experience staying there for a night. Staff were helpful with great breakfast. They have free parking which is not available with majority of hotels.

We enjoyed our stay. The pool was clean and well maintained. The water felt great. There’s a towel station right near the pool entrance which was very helpful with 3 small kids. The breakfast attendant Ms Leslie was very hospitable! She offer to wrap my food so I could carry it more easily. She got a little bag for the kids’ milk, fruit utensils and condiments! The front desk staff at check- in and checkout were extremely accommodating and friendly. They wished my son a happy birthday upon entering! All of the “little touches” made this hotel stay enjoyable! We will book here in the future!

This hotel has always been a favorite of mines to stay every time that I visit New Orleans..Everything was great except my hotel bed was kind of rickety and needs to be replaced..Besides that I enjoyed the stay as always..The breakfast was great! 👍
