We came to watch our daughter play in SEC basketball tournament. We did not want to be too far away so we could Uber. To our surprise the hotel offered accommodations to every place we needed to go including to airport! This was such amazing gesture! Everyone was so friendly, breakfast was good and it was very clean! We will be back and make sure to stay again!

The hotel staff was very kind and welcoming but also seemed very flustered due to some technical issues. The walls are very thin... You can hear everything happening outside in the hallway, in the room next to you, the floor below you... We had one roach and a spider that visited us... But other than that the place was clean. The bed was very comfortable. For the needs we had it was a good spot but we probably would not stay there again. There is a Krispy Kreme right across the street and a few different bars along that area. The free breakfast was nice. The parking lot did have some seedy characters walking around but they kept to themselves.

Property was conveniently located about one mile from the University Center. If you had to, you could walk there from the hotel, but the traffic is immense and little to no sidewalk at times. Room was tidy, small, but tidy. No gym on-site, but they give you a day pass to a local gym about 5 miles away. I would stay again, but I would opt for another hotel with more amenities. Price reflects this. Staff is very friendly.

My teenage daughter and I stayed three nights here. We used shuttle service for the first time and that was wonderfully easy and smooth. The driver Antoine was already waiting when we got off the plane and texted to let us know where he was parked. The drive from GSP to the hotel was great. Check in was friendly and quick. The room had two double beds. It was a small room, no dresser, very tiny bathroom with shower only, but it was clean and comfortable. The beds were very nice! There was a helpful wardrobe but no dresser. The TV was large but the set up button on remote did not work, so we couldn’t hook up our Roku. The room looked a bit old but no complaints because it was clean and completely met our needs. Breakfast each morning had more selection than other similar hotels we’ve visited. I loved the 24 hour coffee and tea station! I had to add a night to our stay last minute and the lady who helped me was friendly and efficient. Overall a great stay! I would stay here again.

When I got to my room I found a dead cockroach on the floor. The Hotel said that they have this problem. The morning I left, there was a cockroach walking across the room. I told the front desk and they said that Fridays are the day they spray for bugs.

The front desk staff at both check in and during the night were both very nice. We encountered a bed bug and was able to move to another room. The lady that worked that night was very apologetic. However, upon checking out I inquired about what if anything could be done as far as compensation due to the inconvenience of having to move due to the bed bug incident. A lady came from the back who I assumed was the manager on duty. She never introduced herself. She asked what the problem was, which I told her. I would've thought it would have been known or the information would've been passed on. She very nonchalantly said that when the room is cleaned and "if" they find the bed bug then usually what they do is offer points through Choice. I told her I was not member of Choice. I had pictures of the bug as proof btw. It was pretty much like "oh well". She never apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, the facility itself was clean. The begbugs and lack of empathy from the morning manage at checkout would be the reason I would not book there again.

Bathroom lighting fixture was leaking room 206. Moved to room 222 where as soon as we walked in found a roach. Finally room 304 that smelled like heavy rug deodorizer then there was a hole around the air conditioning unit I was afraid of something crawling in during our sleep. We wanted a queen size bed but had to sleep in a double bed! Bathroom glass door would not stay closed! It was the worst stay ever!

Run, do not walk, AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I was willing to give it a chance after reading reviews, and upon entering the property, it's dated but not terrible. We got to our room and decided to take a shower before heading out to downtown Greenville. There may as well not have been a door on the shower, there were gaps everywhere and the floor was soaked. After a long day and an early morning we went to bed exhausted. Upon waking up the next morning, we noticed multiple cockroaches on the walls of the room, so I began executing them with my shoe. Before killing them, I had taken pictures to show the front desk. I went downstairs to cancel the remainder of our stay (we had booked 3 nights) and showed the lady at the desk the pictures of the roaches and Informed her we wanted to check out and asked for a refund of the first night as well ( she would not refund me) she told me I would receive a credit for the remaining 2 nights, I have not received my refund as of yet. Would not stay there again if it were free.

Property was what we expected for the price range. Everything worked but there was some mild repair work needed here and there. Staff was extremely nice and they were very helpful - the staff monitoring breakfast were great as well. Walls between rooms were not insulated well at all. You could here normal conversation clear as day in the next rooms. Third floor also smelled like someone was smoking weed at all hours.

The hotel was great for what we needed, but the occupants across the hall were yelling and arguing from about 2:00 pm until about 3:00 am and started back up at 8:00 am. Could hear someone walking around in the room above us. Just wish staff would have dealt with the occupants across the hall earlier, or acknowledged our comments about it at check out. Front desk was called. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

Parking easy and motel is a little run down but clean. Staff very friendly. My only major complaint is that the bed was terrible. Very unsupportive mattresses that either sunk in the middle or to one side.

You could hear everything going on in the room, next door, including conversations, or TV. I even could hear the loud noise/music from the room across the hallway. The hallway had a smell of kitty litter as well. The second night was not as bad because no one was in the room next-door to me.

The manager at check-in was not unfriendly, but neither was he friendly or welcoming. Must have been having a bad day. The room was a perfect size for a one person one or two night stay. Plenty of amenities like iron, ironing board, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer. I liked that the shower was a wank-in, not a tub. The furniture as all pressed wood and has seen better days. See picture attached. Carpet needed to be replaced. Lots of stains and bad spots. See picture attached. The caulking around the shower was very sloppily done and left a less than good appearance. See photo attached. I would not recommend Sleep Inn for a family or an extended stay. But for one person for one or two nights, it was clean and close to the convention center. I would say the best part of it was the convenience.

This hotel was conveniently located to the places we were visiting. For the money and for a short stay this is a good choice. Amenities include Wi-Fi and free breakfast. Bonus: Krispy Kreme Donuts is right across the street. What we did not like was the noise level. We were on the second floor and heard every footstep from the room above us.

My room smelled a little bit like smoke/marijuana when I checked in. I was able to run the fan and the AC to clear it out but that was a bit inconvenient.
My room smelled a little bit like smoke/marijuana when I checked in. I was able to run the fan and the AC to clear it out but that was a bit inconvenient.

The front desk staff at both check in and during the night were both very nice. We encountered a bed bug and was able to move to another room. The lady that worked that night was very apologetic. However, upon checking out I inquired about what if anything could be done as far as compensation due to the inconvenience of having to move due to the bed bug incident. A lady came from the back who I assumed was the manager on duty. She never introduced herself. She asked what the problem was, which I told her. I would've thought it would have been known or the information would've been passed on. She very nonchalantly said that when the room is cleaned and "if" they find the bed bug then usually what they do is offer points through Choice. I told her I was not member of Choice. I had pictures of the bug as proof btw. It was pretty much like "oh well". She never apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, the facility itself was clean. The begbugs and lack of empathy from the morning manage at checkout would be the reason I would not book there again.

As we were leaving to go out for the evening I reported to the front desk that our room had only two bath towels--no hand towels or wash cloths. He apologized and then put a stack of linens on the counter. I said we're leaving now, thinking it wasn't good practice to expect us to stop and take the linens to our room. When we returned, no additional linens were in our bathroom. When we arrived i reported to the front desk that the phone had a blinking red light. He said some of the phones malfunction that way. When i asked if we were to sleep with a blinking red light i was told to unplug the phone. I did NOT get the impression that this facility is concerned with being prepared for guests.

The man working the front desk began screaming at everyone waiting to check in. No one had said a word about the wait. He started yelling that they been booked for the last few days and that they weren’t finished with rooms. We arrived at 1700 and check in was at 1400. There was a couple screaming and fighting in the room beside us and one family did ask for a refund to find another hotel because of the same issue because their daughter had her SAT’s the next morning. They were treated very poorly by the desk clerk even though they were polite. Nothing was done to remedy the situation of why they were leaving. No matter the reasoning, it was uncalled for fhe clerk to test the customer’s the way he did. We were all waiting patiently.

A great hotel for the price. The room was good, with really only two things that bothered me. First, like most hotels with room air conditioners, it took a few minutes to get used to that air conditioned smell, but after that it was fine. And the walls and ceilings do let in a bit more noise than I like. I do recommend it when attending events at the Greenville Convention Center, as it is a quick 10-minute walk away.

There was a bass sound coming from somewhere in or out of the hotel. It went late into the wee hours. Breakfast was only cold food. The desk attendant told us it was because the hotel was low in occupancy. I would not have booked if that info was available when I reserved.The lady running the breakfast area was not very polite. She was putting up the chairs while we were eating and actually hit my chair with another one she was flipping. Our keys did not work and we had to change rooms. It was just not a pleasant stay.

It served its purpose but smelled like mildew. Sink had dried paint in it. Bathroom paint had been touched up so much that it just needs repainting. Room felt damp. Had a semi truck idling right outside my window all night long. Kept me up most of the night. "Spongy" place in the shower felt like i might fall through. A.c. unit would read a temperature but it was definitely hotter than what it displayed. Staff was wonderful! Breakfast was great! Would i stay there again, yes i would but would prefer a different room. Might should have asked for a different room just to see if there was any change. But its like i said before it served its purpose, the staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was spot on.

Other than the thin walls, this is a great place to stay. The room next door blasted the TV ALL NIGHT. This is not the properties fault, just be aware the walls are thin. Super clean and smelled clean too! Super friendly staff! Hot shower! Breakfast area was well kept and stocked up with hot, fresh breakfast items as well as cold cereals waffles and oats. I would stay here again!

This hotel was small, but clean. Very good breakfast! Fresh baked cookies and bottled water was especially nice upon check-in. Staff was helpful and polite. However, the male front desk clerk that checked us in, appeared in our room with 2 females after 11:00 P.M., while my husband was asleep and I was in the restroom. He let themselves in with his key, came in, and left. I opened the door, and he stated they were looking for an empty room. Didn’t make sense, due to his access to the computers there! I was afraid and enraged at the same time!!! This incident erased all the great experiences. I was scared to go to sleep, because I feared they might return!!! Outragious!!!!!!!

Got to this hotel at 2:00am driving with 2 kids only to be told they gave my room away and they were fully booked. I asked if there was another hotel he says there might be 1 this way or 2 that way. Also noticed a sign on the elevator door asked if it was broken he says no but it only stops on the 1st and 3rd floors. Would never recommend this hotel.
