For the money, I have not found a better hotel experience in Cleveland, Tennessee. Parking was easy, and there was a non-affiliated restaurant next door. My room was renovated and clean. The only small inconveniences were that a lamp in my room was broken by the previous guest, and I had to report it to make sure I was not blamed. Additionally, the shower handle was installed backwards, so it took a few minutes to figure out how to get hot water in the shower. Otherwise, I had a great stay.

Nice convenient hotel. Still being renovated so some things amiss. When we were there there was a strong natural gas smell we were told was from the clothes dryer. That was the only thing that wasn’t good.

Nice spot for an overnight stop. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was spotless and comfortable. Rooms have been recently renovated so nice and modern. Breakfast is sub par for this level but understandable given that the breakfast room is being renovated and updated. Our room was missing a hair dryer which staff apologized for. We would stay there again.

Traveled with a small dog. Only stayed one night. Found the staff to be friendly and room was clean. Location was quiet even though close to Interstate. There was both gas station and restaurants next to the hotel. Would stay there again.

The door of our assigned room would not close and it was a known issue that the staff forgot to address and prevent the room being booked until fixed. There were also a few roaches in the room. All the staff were friendly and helpful though.

Staff was friendly however the floor in the room felt dirty like crumbs were on the floor woke up covered in bug bites wich I’m pretty sure were bed bugs and the peep hole was missing so it was just a straight hole to the outside

Roach infested is an understatement. We couldn’t kill enough of them fast enough. If you fancy many, many roaches crawling all over your pillow and literally every other inch of the place, feces smeared on the bathroom wall and toilet paper roll, urine all around the toilet seat, and stained sheets-then this is your place. We obviously left and requested a refund. We were asked to email pictures to the manager-that was 3 days ago, no answer. Both front desk ladies were very nice.

Upon entering the room there was a rubber burning smell that over took the room I guess from the air conditioner unit. Then we found 4 roaches running around that next morning- the lady at the desk, who was nice, said they had fumigated that week. The beds were very squeaky. We only needed to be there 1 night - we left early! The reviews painted a different picture.

2 cockroaches in the bathroom. Bed/ box spring had stains , visible as you walk in Gap under door, that allows creatures in. Dufficult to get a restful sleep after killing the bugs. Disappointed. Also, the lobby chair looks like it's been tnrough a war. Good i dicayion of the cleanliness of yhe establishment.

Staff excellent, very considerate. Room was corner room, clean, but the door stuck so badly, making it hard to open and then close again to lock it. Guy next door was on the phone until after midnight, and we could hear every word he was saying, even though he was in the next room.

Looks like they are upgrading this property. In our room, the hot water took a little while in the shower to get hot. The toilet is not seated the boats were loose. The door didn’t shut right with the main door lock would not lock.

Room was very nicely updated and clean and SMELLED clean. Sheets were clean. Loved the laminate floors instead of carpet. Beds are higher off ground. Pillows were nice-not just flour sacks like some. Beds may be difficult for someone with limited accessibility. Loved the walk in shower. Breakfast was minimal at best-closes at 9. Male desk clerk shut off all heated equipment at 8:30. The waffle batter had clearly been watered down to stretch it, making the waffles more like crackers. The biscuits were flavorless-even for a frozen biscuit product. Gravy had no flavor. We tried it and dumped it as did two other couples. Cereal was the only other option besides toast. Thankfully Cracker Barrel is next door and The Fort Restaurant is close as well. Night time clerk on 7/18 was wonderfully pleasant and gave us great recommendations for dinner last night. For being so close to the highway-we heard nothing. But the climate control sounds like it’s flushing water every 15 minutes and the people in the room next to us had VERY loud phone conversations that we could hear clear as a bell through the walls. We were on our back home from Florida and needed a place to rest our heads without breaking the bank. Oh-and TRY WITTS FROZEN CUSTARD!!!!

When we got to the room, we had dog poop outside the front door. When we got in our room, it did not smell clean. It smelled like urine. But it looked clean and fairly well decorated.

The room was fine, and the staff was nice enough, but I only had 2 towels for 2 guests for 2 nights. When I went down to ask for more towels, I was told I had to bring my old ones down and was then asked to put them in the laundry room myself. Housekeeping never cleaned or straightened the room while we were there.

Property was fine. Room was fine once they brought us a remote. My gripe comes because she charged me for my service dog, $21.95. She said because i didnt have papers or a card, she had to charge me. I believe that is illegal.

The room was average. Fairly clean but smelled of urine. The main problem with our stay was that there was a group of people being extremely loud late into the night that made it very hard to sleep. They were yelling and slamming doors. Felt very unsafe. Not sure if this is a common occurrence at this hotel but staff did not do anything about it. I would have slept better in my car. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning. I would not stay here again.

There was a language barrier upon check in. Soft spoken clerk did not talk loudly enough or clear enough for me to hear with hearing aids. Had to have him repeat everything several times each. Friendly and helpful just frustrating. Took 15 min to check in.

The staff is very friendly. We are just passing thru and stayed a couple years ago and liked it so decided to make our stop here again. Dow the streeprobably less than a mile is a great casual restaurant called City Cafe Diner. Food delicious and they have a bakery with desserts to die for.

The building is not insulated against the freeway noise. I was awakened by some vagrants singing in front of my room at 4 am. Not the greatest part of town I suppose, The room was adequate for the price. Breakfast bar is shy.

We only stayed the one night, we were exploring part of the TN Whiskey Trail and this was one of the hotels we chose along the route. The hotel was clean, and comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel in the AM so I cannot review that part. I did find it odd that at the front desk they had a sign stating they were selling some of their 'amenities' due to popularity, such as their towels for $12. Unless I'm at the Ritz Carlton, I'm pretty sure the towels are not nice enough for me to pay that much for, let alone the tiny size (I use the bath sheets at home so my entire body is covered when I wrap myself in it). Nevertheless, the staff was very pleasant coming and going, and the A/C worked wonderfully as well as the water was hot for as long as the shower took, so I was pleased with the stay.

Unless I'm at the Ritz Carlton, I'm pretty sure the towels are not nice enough for me to pay that much for, let alone the tiny size (I use the bath sheets at home so my entire body is covered when I wrap myself in it). Nevertheless, the staff was very pleasant coming and going, and the A/C worked wonderfully as well as the water was hot for as long as the shower took, so I was pleased with the stay.

Breakfast was not the greatest. We had stayed there in December as part of our 3 month trip and breakfast was excellent! Not so much in March. No yogurt, not much but biscuits and gravy or waffles. Juice was out, not much fruit (oranges) and no milk for cereal. In March there was eggs, sausage, bread, muffins, yogurt, fruit and juices as well as dry cereal and oatmeal. Milk available for drinking as well as cereal. Very disappointing on our way home. Won’t be staying again.

Room was very nicely updated and clean and SMELLED clean. Sheets were clean. Loved the laminate floors instead of carpet. Beds are higher off ground. Pillows were nice-not just flour sacks like some. Beds may be difficult for someone with limited accessibility. Loved the walk in shower. Breakfast was minimal at best-closes at 9. Male desk clerk shut off all heated equipment at 8:30. The waffle batter had clearly been watered down to stretch it, making the waffles more like crackers. The biscuits were flavorless-even for a frozen biscuit product. Gravy had no flavor. We tried it and dumped it as did two other couples. Cereal was the only other option besides toast. Thankfully Cracker Barrel is next door and The Fort Restaurant is close as well. Night time clerk on 7/18 was wonderfully pleasant and gave us great recommendations for dinner last night. For being so close to the highway-we heard nothing. But the climate control sounds like it’s flushing water every 15 minutes and the people in the room next to us had VERY loud phone conversations that we could hear clear as a bell through the walls. We were on our back home from Florida and needed a place to rest our heads without breaking the bank. Oh-and TRY WITTS FROZEN CUSTARD!!!!

I am a frequent traveler. I found this hotel to be simply mediocre. What they call "breakfast" is a joke, unless all you want to eat is waffles. The owners are pinching every penny. I'm serious - decent tea bags are not that much more expensive than Walmart brand, people. They use powdered mix for their "gravy". A bag of white bread - still in the bag - for you folks! No other bread offered! No fruit, no yogurt - although they have a fridge that could utilize - and two kinds of dried cereal. Some sort of warmed circle eggs and frozen biscuits heated up. The rooms have been modernized with a rain shower head, but there is so little water coming out a regular shower will take you twice as long as it normally would. How this place gets any 5 star ratings is beyond me.

Teabags were for green iced tea...don't think they were tea drinkers! for us northerners, focus on biscuits and gravy as key for b'fast just doesn't work for health-conscious travelers. Glad for OJ and apple juice. Pleasant workers.

The room keys didn't work right away but the problem was remedied after I hobbled around the building on a broken ankle to get help. The room needed a good sweeping around the beds and in the bathroom (dead bugs, etc.). I did not like the policy of not being able to take breakfast back to our room. Although I understand that in this day and age people take food to feed non-customers (illegals), legitimate customers should still be able to do so. Sometimes it it more convenient or even necessary to do so. If you advertise it, we should not be limited to it within the advertised hours.
